The French ham and cheese sandwich is superb. I'll swing back again some day to peruse the wine and cheese selection.

The staff there is truly into their craft and provide the best time for all their services. I finally got to try their sandwiches after years of coming for their charcuteries and various classes (all of which you truly cannot go wrong with), and they were to die for. We split their classic grilled cheese and the TBB and they were both nothing short of phenomenal. The grilled cheese comes with tomato soup which was delicious, and you're able to choose a side for all their sandwich options (we chose arugula salad, which was perfectly lemony). My one and only suggestion would be to offer a toasted option for the TBB sandwich, but it was also truly great as is - I would definitely get both again! Also a random rec but they carry a pretty hard to find red sparkling wine that is AMAZING - Cleto Chiarli Lambrusco Amaible, must try!

Their menu doesn't have anything marked but the server was very knowledgeable. He went through the entire menu and indicated what could be made GF. They do not have GF pasta or bread but they do have a few options for GF crackers. We ordered the crunch party, cheese board with GF crackers, brussels sprouts, and rosemary potato rosti to share. The server made sure to modify everything to be GF and had the potatoes cooked in a separate pan to avoid cross contamination. We also had the GF almond cake. When the staff brought the food, they even acknowledged it was GF before serving. The food and service were fantastic! Really appreciate how knowledgeable and accommodating the staff was. Highly recommend!

Very cozy place with a nice vibe to catch up with friends or if you want a simple, but tasty brunch. We ordered the daily cheese board with two meats, and the beef brisket deep sandwich. Honestly I was not impressed by the board, but the meats were really good. The baguette was 10/10 even the salad that comes with it was great. The main reason for the 4 stars is the $20 cork fee. I was shocked and disappointed since the main reason I picked that place was to have a bottle of wine. Most of them were $30, 35, $40 plus $20 cork fee which is incomprehensible to me, considering I'm buying the bottle from the establishment and also consuming it there plus the food I'm getting. Service was great and I appreciate that the server let us know that the gratuity was included.

And I expected a little more from beechers too. You order from the screen then they call it out. My receipt never printed so I didn't know my order number and had to ask haha. Also it let me order milk for my son but then they said they didn't have any. They were able to get us just a cup of milk though. The latte wasn't the worst I've had, I got a decaf vanilla latte, iced, but it was pretty watered down. The grilled cheese I got wasn't particularly warm and was kinda chewy. It wasn't terrible but like wasn't great. Overall not the worst option but probably better off stopping somewhere else in the airport.

The latte from Vita coffee which is connected to Beecher's was made quickly and met expectations. So service was fine. It's an airport so I had no expectations about ambiance. Eat at the gate, no worries. Food was disappointing. About the quinoa bowl...it was indeed quinoa - nicely spicy, more than I anticipated but welcome flavor. It was also quite warm, which I appreciated. However. There were only a few additions ingredients: some bits of arugula, what appeared to be finely diced peppers, and as I stirred things up with some vigor, I found a piece of egg! But wait. It was actually a fragment of premixed liquid egg. So they cooked the egg mix, and added maybe a couple tablespoons of it to the bowl. Conservatively estimating, those pieces of egg added up to less than half a hard-boiled egg...maybe. For $12.99 I'd hoped for at least a couple eggs on top of that heaping portion of quinoa. I'll suggest if you're looking for GF with protein you try another place.

Cheese, marvelous cheese!…read more Are you that person with at least five varieties of cheese in your fridge, just in case? Well, I can straight up de-mystify the Stamper Cheese agenda. They are cheese pushers. Like so many artisanal fromage purveyors, their wares suck you in, and you just crave more. Must have fresh mozzarella cheese balls, that is my personal mantra. Twice a week, at either the Federal/Daley/ or Willis Tower Farmers Market, I shuffle up to their booth to score my fix, satiating the gnawing jones of a cheese fiend. The days in between, I try to make it last, stretch it out. Mostly, the fresh mozzarella balls will do. Occasionally, I might venture into a goat cheese gouda, apricot brie, or a nettle infused variety. You know what nettles are? Yeah. They STING you. And apparently, they're good for you too. Only Stamper Cheese would have the cojones to use stinging nettles in their cheese. Get some. It's good. It's a hard cheese variety, and quite tasty. No store front, but they have a Printer's Row Cheese Drop Off. Check their website, Facebook, or better yet, email them for details, since the outdoor Farmers Market season is now over. The winter is that much bleaker without you, Stamper Cheese.

First, I explored the endless snack aisles and selected a bag of chocolate-hazelnut biscuits to take home. I couldn't resist the gelato and tried the pistachio flavor (yum!) On my next visit to Eataly a couple of days later, I ordered a cappuccino, and while my beverage took a long time to prepare, the espresso tasted very high quality. The pastries looked stunning and decadent, and I imagine they'd pair wonderfully with espresso if you have time to linger at the cafe (I was in a hurry to get to a work meeting). The next day, my team and I visited Eataly's restaurant for lunch. I selected the anchovy toast as my starter and the gnocchi for my main as part of the lunch special. The toast consisted of two slices of sourdough bread topped with creamy lemon spread and anchovies. The contrast of the bright lemon flavor with the ultra-salty anchovies was tempered by the creamy butter - these all paired together quite well. The gnocchi, on the other hand, was underwhelming. The gnocchi was much too soft (it had the texture of mashed potatoes), and the red sauce was bland. All in all, visiting Eataly was a cool way to experience gourmet Italian food.

Considering this place is supposed to have some class, we were pretty appalled that they seemed to do the bare minimum for this event. I felt very deceived by how this event was advertised online vs in real life. It seems they intentionally left out details and was marketed as five tastings at five counters, but we receieved barely a sample at each sation. The website said 1. house made pasta - you have one option and it was three bites, no vegetarian option 2. roman-style pizza - only thing I won't complain about although still a small portion 3. Curated drink from Caffe Lavazza - this was a dixie cup portion of a blended Frappuccino 4. house made pastry - they gave you the option of literal bite sized dessert, not a whole pastry 5. the artisanal salumi and formaggi - pathetic, literally 1 piece of meat, three pieces of the same type of cheeses, three olives, and dry stale crackers. Honestly for what they offer this was a slap in the face and from a consumer perspective Eataly's attempt at a summer money making scheme. I would find it hard to believe anyone who rave about this event, in fact I imagine most left very underwhelmed and still hungry. Eataly itself might be a great experience but we did not have the opportunity. We enjoyed the spritz drinks we ordered for their $9 summer special but this event did not make me want to return at all. It unfortunately dangled everything they could have offered in front of us, but then gave us the lowest tier. Driving in traffic to do this was not worth the time, gas, parking or inconvenience and the best part of our city night was when we stepped out of Eataly.
