    I found my first car as a student here, negotiated to price i wanted, took some time but worked out pretty well.

    Let me start off by saying, the only reason why I'm with this bank is because I get free banking…read morewith unlimited e-transfers. Short of those 2 things, this bank is a joke. I attempted to set up my online banking when I was prompted to either attend a branch or call the number on the screen. So I called. The male over the phone provided me with security questions, none of which were about my personal information, but rather about my accounts. I had recently set up my accounts and told him that I just opened this bank account and had some investments. He came back after a few minutes and told me my answers were incorrect and to attend a location. Funny thing was, while I had to wait on hold for 30 minutes to speak to someone, I had walked to a branch to deposit a cheque. I told this to the male over the phone and he advised that he could no longer help me and the phone call ended. At the branch, I deposited my cheque and told him I required assistance setting up my online account, to which the representative told me he would happily help me set it up. When attempting to set it up, he got the same issue as I did and ultimately I had to call back in to get the issue resolved. I called back a few days later and spoke to another representative over the phone. She asked me some questions to bring up the account and once she had it up, she said she could no longer help me and to attend a branch to get a flag on my account removed. I explained the situation and that I was recently in a branch and deposited a cheque. She said she had strict policies and that nothing could be done over the phone. So I spoke with her supervisor. Her supervisor reiterated what the rep said and stated they have strict policies and that they could not assist over the phone. I had to re-attend a branch just to get my online banking resolved. At the branch level, I spoke with a rep and the first thing they require you do is to insert your BMO bank card and enter your PIN number. So I successfully did that and provided my photo identification to the representative. She then looked at the flag on the account and began asking me security questions to verify me. I asked her what the point of providing my valid photo ID and inserting my card and pin was if I was just going to get questioned anyway? After getting verified, we attempted to set up my online account and got the same error which directed her to call the phone number I called. So she did, verified herself, and after allllll of this, we were able to finally set up my account. Again, the only reason why I am with them at this point is because it's no cost to me and I have h limited e-transfers which is important to me. Otherwise, the employees are set to operate under policies like robots and aren't given the freedom to make logical decisions on their own. I do not recommend BMO. *Of note: The service at the branch level is excellent and I have no issues with the face to face service. Kind, courteous, and they work towards finding a solution.

When I saw the car, unbelievable 3 rock chips on windshield, under the hood, very dirty, front and rear wheel are different brands. I told him this is not the car I pay $30,000 for. He promised to fix the windshield and clean the car. Several days later I test the car again after he said the car is ready to go. 3 rock chips only fixed 2. Under hood not cleaned at all. When I said the car is still not acceptable, he said he will sell the car to another buyer that day. My wife asked what about our deposit, he said:"do not worry, you will get full refund." After that he tried to sell more expensive cars to us and we could not afford. So we asked for refund, he began to cheat on this car and that car. Then he won't respond our messages, calls and emails. We sent the emails to TMT Auto for help several times, and no response at all. Because I do not have the evidence for his refund promise, and I guess he would lie to the court, so what I can do about him and TMT Auto? Thanks
