I spoke with Gurlal and he was super nice and went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed. We noticed a few things that needed to be touched up with my vehicle and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything fixed. They even offer coffee and water while waiting and have a very nice waiting area. I got into a car accident so I needed to transfer my old insurance to the new car and they made that process super fast and easy as well. We had a bit of a miscommunication about the dates I would be coming but they quickly fixed that and were very accommodating. I highly recommend going here as they made my experience a very enjoyable experience.

I recently had a very concerning experience involving both a previous vehicle purchase and a recent…read moreattempted transaction with this dealership. For fairness, I want to clarify that the lien issue on the trade-in vehicle was not caused by the dealership, and I was personally unaware of the remaining lien balance until it was discovered during the transaction process. My concerns are primarily related to how the situation was handled afterward, including communication, transparency, refusal to provide written explanations, and conflicting verbal mechanical claims. During the recent transaction, financing and insurance paperwork had already been completed on a 2020 Ford F-150 XLT before the dealership later discovered a lien on the trade-in vehicle. The vehicle delivery was then withheld while the situation was being addressed. The interaction became extremely heated and stressful, and I was verbally told my current Ram required both a new engine and transmission, despite no written diagnostic report being provided when requested. After the transaction was unwound and the F-150 never left the lot, we were also required to cancel insurance immediately and pay approximately $168, but no written itemized explanation for the charge was provided despite being requested. I also want to mention my previous experience with a Ram 1500 purchased from this dealership. The truck was purchased at approximately 146,000 km and by around 200,500 km -- roughly 54,500 km later over about 2.5 years -- it developed major engine-related problems including symptoms commonly associated with Hemi lifter/camshaft failure ("Hemi tick"). While I understand used vehicles can develop issues over time, this experience significantly reduced my confidence overall. My family and people close to us have been dealing with this dealership for over 10 years and between family members and friends, more than 7 vehicles have been purchased over time. In my personal experience, many of those vehicles eventually developed significant issues, yet people continued returning because they trusted the dealership and were repeatedly encouraged into new financing arrangements and replacement vehicles. Looking back now, I personally feel like I finally recognized a repeating cycle that I no longer wanted to continue participating in. Additionally, sometime around mid last year, I felt pressured by dealership staff to refer friends and acquaintances to purchase vehicles through them with promises of referral bonuses or compensation. In my experience, the dealership repeatedly delayed or failed to follow through clearly regarding those referral incentives, which added further frustration and distrust. In my opinion, some of the sales tactics used felt extremely aggressive and predatory. Buyers should be prepared for pressure tactics and should carefully verify all financing information independently. I would also advise people to be cautious if they are suddenly encouraged to switch vehicles or are told "the bank won't approve" or "the bank won't accept" certain terms after significant paperwork has already been completed. I also have concerns regarding financing advertisements displayed on the dealership's website, including advertised low interest rates such as 2.99% financing. In my experience, when those rates were discussed in person, explanations were given that the difference would instead somehow be deducted from the vehicle price, however the actual financing paperwork and final numbers did not appear to reflect what was initially represented. I strongly encourage buyers to carefully read all financing documents and independently calculate the real total cost of borrowing before signing anything. I strongly encourage anyone purchasing a used vehicle to: obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection, verify financing and lien details independently, request written diagnostics/documentation, independently review all financing terms, and avoid rushing into long-term financing agreements under pressure. Based on my experience, I personally would not return.

Disgraceful experience with Murray Hyundai White Rock…read more I bought a Hyundai based on a Carfax showing a full engine replacement done by this dealer in August 2024. Turns out, only the engine block was replaced not the full engine. They left in old gaskets, seals, and components, and now the car has multiple oil leaks. One of the worst offenders? The oil pan was sealed with finger-smudged silicone. I've uploaded a video to show how laughably bad the workmanship was. When I confronted the dealer, they first agreed to fix it under their shop warranty. Days later, they backed out, saying the car was "wholesaled" and they had no responsibility despite doing the work themselves and having been the only shop to ever service the car. Hyundai Canada was no help either. I ended up paying for repairs out of pocket to fix what they messed up. Avoid this place. They have no integrity, no accountability, and no business carrying the Hyundai name.

WARNING - DEALERSHIP DOES NOT OPERATE WITH INTEGRITY Over…read morethe last several days, I have been in contact via phone, email, and text with two sales representatives at Kabani Motors in Vancouver. They have a 2015 Honda Pilot with 9,825KMS and an asking price of $39,995. In my initial conversation with Eduardo Guillo where I made an offer that was not accepted; however, Eduardo informed me via email that the lowest price that the owners of Kabani would accept is $39,470. Over the last four days, we continued to discuss the Pilot and decided yesterday, Sunday, April 10th, 2022, that would engage with the dealership again to make an offer. This time around we dealt with Summit K. Biswas. Over a period of 3 hours, we communicated via text and phone. During this period, we discussed the value of their $299 administration fee and further negotiated on price. With each offer, Summit returned to the owners of the dealership to present my offer and continuously kept coming back in writing that they would not accept anything less than $39,000. We came to the decision that we would pay the price and provided Summit with my credit card over the phone, and it was charged with a $1000 non-refundable deposit I planned to fly to Vancouver to pick up the SUV. Approximately, a half-hour later I received a text message from Summit, stating that the boss there is no discount on that vehicle, yet last week they were prepared to take $500 off. Over the course of the negotiation process, Summit contacted the owners of the dealership more than three (3) times to discuss the price and then revoked our agreement and wanted me to pay full price. The reason given, is the owners didn't have good cell service and didn't hear the offer correctly, yet they were very familiar with the conversation I had the previous week with Eduardo and the offer. Whatever you decide to do with this dealership and its owners be VERY CAREFUL. They are not ethical and do NOT operate with integrity. I had to request multiple times to have them credit my VISA and ended up calling the bank to report it as fraud. Below are the screenshots of our text message conversation. Everything was fine and I went home to pick up the car the next day. After some time on the next day, the service person texted me saying that instead of changing the engine mount I'd have to replace many other undercarriage parts and the cost (that was covered by warranty at the beginning) would now be $8,000 (EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS). Now explain something to me: how can a service area professional say that an engine mount needs to be replaced if they didn't even check underneath the car?? How come a professional company like TOYOTA give me such a wrong information making me go home calmly and then changing the WHOLE STORY and charging me $8000? Regardless of the end of this shameful story for your SERVICE DEPARTMENT, please be aware of how you do your services so that you can be more respectful to your clients, since you are representing a great brand like Toyota. Changing now to 1 start because after all that, when I called the body part shop the staff had zero empathy to try to solve any problem AND ASKED ME TO CALL SOMEWHERE ELSE. Great job you're doing here Toyota.

I had been looking for a replacement vehicle for my SUV for a while, as the fuel economy was higher…read morethan my commute required, and I wanted to downsize to something smaller, and more fuel efficient for my lifestyle, while still fitting my aesthetic preferences. I had been looking everywhere, between Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and independent websites, and dealers, until I decided to take a look 'closer to home', and remembered that, in past, I had often passed by BC Dealers' Trade-In Centre as a young adult, and into adulthood, and thought i would give them another glance. I had found a vehicle on their website that appealed to me, and I inquired directly to the company for more information. My call was promptly returned by Joel, and he was a very welcome change from the litany of traditional 'salesmen' i had come across until that point. Polite, attentive, honest, and with much integrity, he fielded my questions, and pointed me in the best direction he could given my situation. We setup a meeting for first thing Saturday morning. That morning, i went into the Dealer looking for what they had in stock, and the intention to browse, deliberate, and then continue the search until I was certain of finding *my* new car. Within less than half an hour of speaking with Joel in person, we found the vehicle of my choice, test drove it around the lot, and I was given a good overview of the features, price, and straight-up honest information I was looking for. I only had good feelings about Joel, and knew I could trust him with my purchase, and so I decided to give it a go. Honesty, politeness, and mutual respect go a long way for me, and he had it in spades. First thing after work, once my financing terms were approved, I drove down to the dealership, shook hands with Joel, and signed the deal, with a trade-in. The process was painless (despite some slight technical difficulties on that rainy day!) but Joel's positivity, kindness, and genuine nature shone through. A fairly comprehensive review (as well provided copy) of the current CarFax report of the vehicle is provided, and reviewed with you, prior to purchase, to, as Joel said "avoid any funny stuff or any unwanted surprises". Due diligence is the name of the game! The office building itself has an 'old home' vibe to it, perhaps requiring a bit of a make-over, but really gives a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere as opposed to brightly-lit, polished, glossy floored dealerships with men in pressed suits. Those places are too stuffy for me, and so I felt right at home in their office. Not too drab, but a little dated; I for one appreciated the decor, but could see if one was remiss upon entering - don't be! You won't be disappointed if you can overlook the sleepy interior. Thats not entirely a bad thing! There's a real 'personal charm' about the place, and the people, that is a nice contrast to the 'hustle-bustle' and 'wheeling and dealing' feel of other dealerships. Quite honestly, overall, you can colour me impressed! I will definitely recommend BC Dealer's Trade-In Centre if not only for Joel, and the comprehensive selection they hold in rotation, but the 'no pressure' atmosphere i felt throughout my experience with them. I absolutely love my new car! Thanks again, Joel! I'll be recommending you for sure!

As time went by almost 3 weeks, finally called Mike and he said that he never promise any warranty. I think this BC Dealers Trade in Center salesmen making all liars and not professional. Making all sort of things to sell used vehicles, once you sign it , you're on your own. Would tell and spread out words about this place! Not recommend this place. Not worth to rate even a star.

Misleading, unprofessional, and damaging - do NOT go here…read more I visited Westminster Toyota on Jan 15 for a Toyota Corolla Hybrid SE AWD. From the start, I was misled and stalled: Staff confirmed availability but never followed up. After a test drive and submitting all documents, my employment verification "failed", despite my HR confirming everything was correct. Repeated follow-ups led to conflicting updates, unavailable staff, and unnecessary pressure to buy a different car I didn't want. Finance managers were sarcastic and unprofessional, pushing me toward alternatives instead of respecting my choice. After 9 days of back-and-forth, I was finally told my loan was rejected by all banks, and their mishandling negatively affected my credit score. The dealership misled me on pricing and availability of the car, posting it online at a higher price immediately after I inquired. This was supposed to be my first car purchase, but their actions caused stress, confusion, and financial damage. I will be filing a consumer complaint. I cannot recommend Westminster Toyota - there is no transparency, honesty, or professionalism.
