Avoid this delearship at all cost!…read more I just bought a 2024 Equinox EV last week. I wish I would have not gone to this delearship. A lot of things. First, the low ball trade in. The sales General manager, Patrick, priced my trade in at $11k. Though I had managed to get it to $13k. But now, they sold it $20k in less than two weeks. So, imagine, from their low ball pricing of 11k then selling it to 20k. That's a greedy of at least 80% profit! Avoid this dealership especially when you have trade in. Secondly, this was my 9th car purchased and this is the worst delivery by far. I got the 2024 Equinox EV and it was 120 days on the market from another dealership lot. So, imagine how dirty it was. Barnes Wheaton did not even bother to wash it. No prep. Just vacuum. It was nighttime already when we got it. Driving back home was raining and I can barely see through my winshield, even with my full wiper swing. It's just so damn dirty. If they washed it at least it cleared up that window. When we arrived home, I inspected the car and the body, especially the hood an roof were so rough and lots of contaminants like white stuff. Third is dealing with this reprensentative Kyle. During the process, he's so responses pronptly to my inquires. Right before we drove off that night, he told me that if I have any concerns do not hesitate to contact him. Well. guess what. He's not responding anymore. Lastly, they charge me two $595 administration fee! Greediness to the max! Scammer! I have concern with the paint on the hood. There is this one spot as big as loonie that I could not removed. I clayed it but no success. It looks like a paint issue. I do not recommend this dealership. Next time, I would rather look somewhere else.

My son, who lives in middle Canada, sent me here to test drive a vehicle he was considering buying. Howard Karras, the laid-back sales guy, thankfully was patient as I reviewed the full page checklist sent to me by Number 1 Son. He could have rolled his eyes and done the fake reassuring little woman number. He didn't. Which is why CWL gets a five-star review and I can heartily recommend them when you are searching for that perfect Mercedes or Porsche or other luxury car. Plus he recommended a great ding remover for those pesky stone dimples on my ride. Go now! Buy your dream Porsche!

It unfortunately was in an accident a few months ago and I went immediately back to CWL to buy another car. I picked out a 08 G37s with only 45,000km !!! Every car on this lot is the the nicest, lowest km, cleanest you will find anywhere. My brother was so impressed with the cars on this lot when he dropped me off to pick up my car that he bought a Jaguar from there the very next day. Over the the years I have had no hesitation to recommend friends and family to the high-end car lot. And many have bought there and thanked me for showing them this little gem. If your looking for a great car from a place that stands behind their cars, look no further than CWL !!

Hello, I went to Surrey from Calgary to buy a vehicle from…read moreOcean Park Ford Sales Ltd. on Jul 15 2025. Before i arrive i asked the sales person Amit Aneja many times about if the AC working good or not. He said it works perfectly. When i arrive to the dealership, i realized the rear AC fans are not blowing cold air. I showed this to Amit, and he confirmed that AC is not working properly. They took the vehicle for inspection and after roughly 3 hours, they said the AC refrigerant gas was not enough, so they added more gas. But even after this repair, AC wasnt working well. I showed to Amit, and he admitted again. He confirmed that its not working well, still blowing hot air. So Amit and his sales manager told me that i can go to any Ford dealership in Calgary, get it fixed and they will cover the cost. They said many times that its all good and they are in the business for so many year. I trusted them but at the same time i wanted to have a written proof just in case. So they wrote it on paper, signed and attached their business card on it. I went to Universal Ford Calgary to get the AC fixed. They fixed it and the invoice was $2.709,16. When i asked for reimbursement the salesperson Amit from Ocean Park Ford first refused to pay the total amount. He said he is not sure, he is not the authority to decide etc. and argued with me on the phone. He hung up the phone on me while i am asking for whats promised to me. I called him 9 times right after he hung up, not answered my calls. Then next day he texted me and offered me $1.723.04 not the full amount. I already filed a civil claim at Alberta Court of Justice and I am writing this e-mail to you to seek my legal rights. These types of businesses should not be able to do business by deceiving people. I would be very grateful if you could help me find out where to apply to have their licenses revoked.

Driven Ford my whole life and almost switched to gmc because of how bad this place is. Go to brown bros and don't get ripped off and deal with a good team of people. Won't be coming back here. Update, an issue fixed on my truck in 2022 (under warranty was a nightmare to even get that done) is now an issue again in 2024, they have nothing about it in their system to go back on, my friend who works for ford looked it up and they didn't put anything they did in so can't even go back to be looked on. Scummy dealership, my family all got our vehicles from them, we won't be going back!

I spoke with Gurlal and he was super nice and went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed. We noticed a few things that needed to be touched up with my vehicle and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything fixed. They even offer coffee and water while waiting and have a very nice waiting area. I got into a car accident so I needed to transfer my old insurance to the new car and they made that process super fast and easy as well. We had a bit of a miscommunication about the dates I would be coming but they quickly fixed that and were very accommodating. I highly recommend going here as they made my experience a very enjoyable experience.

For fairness, I want to clarify that the lien issue on the trade-in vehicle was not caused by the dealership, and I was personally unaware of the remaining lien balance until it was discovered during the transaction process. My concerns are primarily related to how the situation was handled afterward, including communication, transparency, refusal to provide written explanations, and conflicting verbal mechanical claims. During the recent transaction, financing and insurance paperwork had already been completed on a 2020 Ford F-150 XLT before the dealership later discovered a lien on the trade-in vehicle. The vehicle delivery was then withheld while the situation was being addressed. The interaction became extremely heated and stressful, and I was verbally told my current Ram required both a new engine and transmission, despite no written diagnostic report being provided when requested. After the transaction was unwound and the F-150 never left the lot, we were also required to cancel insurance immediately and pay approximately $168, but no written itemized explanation for the charge was provided despite being requested. I also want to mention my previous experience with a Ram 1500 purchased from this dealership. The truck was purchased at approximately 146,000 km and by around 200,500 km -- roughly 54,500 km later over about 2.5 years -- it developed major engine-related problems including symptoms commonly associated with Hemi lifter/camshaft failure ("Hemi tick"). While I understand used vehicles can develop issues over time, this experience significantly reduced my confidence overall. My family and people close to us have been dealing with this dealership for over 10 years and between family members and friends, more than 7 vehicles have been purchased over time. In my personal experience, many of those vehicles eventually developed significant issues, yet people continued returning because they trusted the dealership and were repeatedly encouraged into new financing arrangements and replacement vehicles. Looking back now, I personally feel like I finally recognized a repeating cycle that I no longer wanted to continue participating in. Additionally, sometime around mid last year, I felt pressured by dealership staff to refer friends and acquaintances to purchase vehicles through them with promises of referral bonuses or compensation. In my experience, the dealership repeatedly delayed or failed to follow through clearly regarding those referral incentives, which added further frustration and distrust. In my opinion, some of the sales tactics used felt extremely aggressive and predatory. Buyers should be prepared for pressure tactics and should carefully verify all financing information independently. I would also advise people to be cautious if they are suddenly encouraged to switch vehicles or are told "the bank won't approve" or "the bank won't accept" certain terms after significant paperwork has already been completed. I also have concerns regarding financing advertisements displayed on the dealership's website, including advertised low interest rates such as 2.99% financing. In my experience, when those rates were discussed in person, explanations were given that the difference would instead somehow be deducted from the vehicle price, however the actual financing paperwork and final numbers did not appear to reflect what was initially represented. I strongly encourage buyers to carefully read all financing documents and independently calculate the real total cost of borrowing before signing anything. I strongly encourage anyone purchasing a used vehicle to: obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection, verify financing and lien details independently, request written diagnostics/documentation, independently review all financing terms, and avoid rushing into long-term financing agreements under pressure. Based on my experience, I personally would not return.

The absolute worst thieves and dishonest people I have…read moreever dealt with. it starts great because they're so fantastic and trained in lying... purchased my vehicle out of province at the end of august and was supposed to be delivered September long weekend. it never showed up. they told me that the delivery driver got busted with no license and the vehicle was impounded For a week. We'll get back to that because that clearly wasn't the case... once it was 'out of the impound' a week later they said they forgot to book a new delivery driver for me. Yes in the meantime I got a loaner vehicle from another location that was a piece of garbage and was sure it was going to break down on me. I informed them of the issues but they didn't care and said keep driving it. The next week (going into the 3rd week now) they said they noticed something wrong with the front bumper and were replacing it... another week goes by and more excuses. I had to threaten to call the RCMP and report the vehicle stolen seeing as I had signed the paperwork and it was insured in my name and they were refusing to deliver it. It ended up on the road immediately But delivered with scratches all over it. I sent pictures to the dealership and that went ignore. Got my OPI done and within seconds of my mechanic starting the inspection, he saw it had severe damage behind the new front bumper... clearly this is why it was taking so long to deliver and all the hoses and shutters behind the bumper were just zip tied and so I sent more pictures to them and they responded by saying to send them the quote to fix it. I sent them the quote and again that went ignored. I called my lawyer and he said non disclosure of damage or accidents is illegal so I passed that on to the dealership. He then tried to blame the body shop saying that the shop didn't tell them there was damage. Clearly the accident wasn't on CarFax because they didn't go through insurance so don't believe the CarFax report. I asked for a invoice for the new bumper and any 6 year old could've made that up on the computer. I googled the 'body shop' it doesn't exist.. I've barely had the vehicle 2 months and just found out after our dump of snow that my AWD is f***cked up. Yes I got the extended warranty.... DO NOT BUY THAT WARRANTY FROM THEM! Get your own somewhere else. As much as my mechanic would love to help me, he won't deal with that company. Good luck trying to get in touch with the actual owner of Mainland Motors. You can only find his name (Manny Jawanda) but no way to contact. He's probably just sitting back laughing at every fool that buys off of them. What a disgrace of a business, I'd be ashamed and embarrassed if my name was on it.
