I was very nervous leaving my car to get fixed at a dealership because of horrible experiences in the past. However, I was shocked by how amazing the service was. Not only did they honour everything they promised to fix, they also had it all done in about 4 hours. I was so impressed with how well I was treated and how amazing of a job they did. Richard dang went above and beyond. I explained how impressed I was with everything and he responded very humbly saying he was doing his job. What a great job it was. I will be telling all my friends and family to go here to get their car serviced. I will be coming back! Thank you for a wonderful experience. read more

After confirming the final price by telephone, when my 80 year young ladyfriend arrived the salesman began pressuring her to buy addons to the point that she left and bought a new car foe cash elsewhere. They did apologize after the fact but meanwhile she formed a very negative attitude about this dealership and the NO PRESSURE outlook that it tries to suggest. read more

I purchased a Honda Civic Hybrid from this dealership two months ago. Today, I came in for its first service, which I was told at the time of purchase would be free. However, to my surprise, I was asked to pay for the service. I know three friends who also bought the same car from other dealerships--Vancouver Honda, Kingsway Honda, and Marine Honda--and their first service was completely free as promised. This inconsistency is disappointing. I want to warn others not to buy a car from this dealership. They make promises at the time of sale just to close the deal, but later fail to honor them. The service here is extremely disappointing. I had taken the reference of Kevin, who also purchased from here, but this experience has left me frustrated. If you cannot fulfill your promises, at least inform the customer in advance. Please do not play with people's trust and emotions like this. read more

The service is great and the interaction with the Advisor is great but, they didn't even offer me a courtesy car, because the diagnostic and repair took 6 hours. read more

The parts department is by far the most professional and knowledgeable team. My experience at this dealership is outstanding, I had Joseph assist me and was great at sourcing my parts. read more

Parts and service are excellent. Really good prices and also hardly a wait for the car to get service.

These guys are awesome. No pressure sales, informative and listen to customer needs. Very impressed with the level of service The extra touch was the big bow they placed on our vehicle prior to us getting the keys. Little gestures like that go a long way. It's just a nice way of showing customers appreciation. read more

Avoid the service department. Went in for my 1st oil change service and tire rotation. Picked up my car and there was a dent on the rear quarter panel. Pretty sure the dent repair will cost a lot more than the service. Avoid these monkey's! read more

Well 2 years later and oh how things change! Went in to get my car fixed...and it was suggested I trade my car in for a never model. Sad to report Jason, the manager at the time I bought my 1st car, was gone. Apparently all the customer service went with him. Finance dept was the WORST! The one girl actually kept yawning on the phone while talking to me! Zero follow up... and no return call from the manager, with whom I had delt with. Guess they have turned into same as all the others! And I'm figuring they don't need my business! All the referrals I used to send their way...no more! Adding: had coffee with a friend today whom I had referred...she ended up buying a car from them. Said the sales person was good, but finance was a nightmare! read more

I just purchased a 2014 honda pilot touring edition from Mark...overall, my experience was great! He was courteous and informative and really seemed to know his product. I was initially a little hesitant to buy from this dealership as I previously owned a 2004 honda pilot and had brought my vehicle to get serviced from Marv Jones Honda. On all 3 service dates, I had very poor experiences there in terms of quality of service and inspection points not being met.. Mark has redeemed Marv Jones in my books but I'm still a little afraid to have the service department service my new car read more

Boy. If you want to be treated like an idiot and condescended to, this is the dealership for you. When the salesman who had approached me, found out I had been to another dealership and wanted to see if they could do better, that was the end. It seems to me that a 30k+ purchase warrants some shopping around. But he couldn't have given less of a s#$t. He left me with such a bad feeling, that I actually bought a Toyota THAT DAY instead. I hadn't even been CONSIDERING a Toyota because I was so sure of what I wanted. But his "you don't know anything you little twit" attitude put me so far off that I felt dirty when I left. Honda, you might want to talk to your people about being so rude that they literally turn people off your brand. read more

Without going into details Unfortunatley, I had a bad experience with this dealership. Which is to bad. because, I did at first think that they were good. But it turns out that they say everything you want to hear till the deal is done, But dont carry though with it. Delt with sales agent Derek Customer service goes out the door once the deal is done. Cant believe what, manager Niel says, when he lies to you on the phone and to your face they say you will get a $25 gift card for test driving a car well I did and bought it gave me the run around never got it say that for filling this out you get $10 tim hortons gift card doubt I will get it say I get a $50 credit on service never got proof of that and Had to ask them for paper work on car read more

We bought a Honda Accord 6 months ago from Marv Jones Honda. We were highly impressed by the salesman Gerard Favis who has a very good attitude towards the customers. His professional services and patience made our buying process very enjoyable. All employees in Marv Jones Honda are very nice. We are very happy with our decision to buy our new Accord from Marv Jones Honda! It would totally not be surprised to us that the Marv Jones Honda will continue its success in future no matter how the market changes because Marv Jones Honda has such an amazing team of humble and honest people! Awesome customer and car service. Professional, friendly and take great care of your car.

Marv Jones Honda is easy to deal with and a great place to buy a car. Kevin Reiffer, the sales rep is very knowledgeable and honest. Unlike other Honda dealerships in Port Moody and Burnaby, Marv Jones Honda offers a great deal on new car and trade in. By knowing the dealer cost price, negotiation was easy and fast. They are a bit far to drive to however, the service and experience was extremely good. read more

Better late than never! I bought a used 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring model from Gerard Favis (Sales/Detail Department) in February 2016. But, it wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for my friend Lester Wong (Parts Manager), who kept his ears open for this great lead as he was the one who really helped brokered the sales deal for me. I have been fortunate enough to be blessed by good people who are looking out for me. Lester and Gerard both came in on their days offs to show my wife and I the van. About a week later, after some minor fixes were done to the van, Gerard came in again on his day off just to make sure everything was fine. How many sales people do you know will go that extra mile for their clients? I would have no hesitation in recommending Marv Jones Honda for sales (Gerard) to Parts (Lester) and to the service department! read more

We just picked up our new Honda Odyssey from Marv Jones Honda, and I have to say this was the most effortless and stress-free car buying experience I have ever had. Of course, I did a lot of homework before starting the purchase process, and this really streamlined the entire transaction. I live in Vancouver, and I conducted the entire negotiation over the phone, and via e-mail, before driving out to Maple Ridge to pick up my new vehicle, at a price I was really happy to pay. Thanks Jackie for all your help, and for keeping things simple. Everybody at MJH was great - Jackie, Kelly, - and the guys who prepped the vehicle did an awesome job! Car buying should always be this simple! read more

Since my childhood, in my home Honda has been considered as a very reputable and well-known company that manufactures one of the best and highest quality motorcycles and cars, because they are manufactured in Japan. The Japanese people are well-known for their honour, integrity, value and, of course, their ability to make the best cars in the world. This year, I decided to purchase my first vehicle in mid-September, and of course it had to be a Honda! Can you imagine my excitement? I will finally drive my very own car - a Honda! So, I went to Marv Jones Honda and bought one. When I went to pick up my newly purchased vehicle, I was informed that it was washed and detailed; however, 4 days later (and no rain), I noticed that the windows were still wet. It appeared as if water was collecting inside the doors... Additionally, when I picked up the brand-new car and drove off the dealership's lot, I found two phones connected via Bluetooth - neither of them was mine. Shortly after, I also heard several unusual sounds (brakes, motor, fan, air conditioning etc.) coming from the car that, to this day, distract me while I drive. Now the screen on the dashboard is glitchy... The dealership even confirmed that there were unusual sounds and displays coming from the vehicle but were unable to locate the source(s) after multiple attempts. Since discovering these issues, I immediately contacted many Honda Canada employees (including the Chief Executive Officer and President) in British Columbia and Ontario but ended up in a very unfortunate situation where my vehicle has been in the service department for inspections longer than I have been driving it. Let's not talk about the many days I had to take off work, the material loss (including consistently driving my car back -and-forth to the dealership) and emotional distress I have endured from the constant fear I have while I drive that car... Eventually, it even came to the point where I was told to arrange my own transportation while my car is under further investigation for who knows how many more times. For example, my car has been taken FOR THE 3rd TIME for further investigation but has not been fixed! This is not normal! I still want to drive a Honda, but I do not want this car that clearly was not even brand new; rather, I want a NEW car of which I will not be afraid and one that will not distract me while I drive and continue to have more problems. Unfortunately, Honda Canada does not want to issue me a safe, new car for which I paid and cannot/will not fix the one I currently have. I have begun to fear for my life with that car and get stressed out each time I sit in it. I still am not able to believe that Honda would allow something like this to happen! read more

|BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE| Last Summer I purchased my BMW from @marvjoneshonda .. I was ensured my car had been completely inspected and looked over, as we know BMW is a luxury brand where regular maintenance and repairs will be more costly than other brands SO I wanted to make sure I was covered. I purchased two extended warranties ( one for exterior dents/damage ect) the other for internal repairs covering everything besides regular maintenance of course. It was made clear to me that I was purchasing the BEST warranty plan, the highest coverage I could for my car... The beginning of January my car had Major problems that same day I called my dealer they told me "take your car to BMW" directly after that I called BMW they said to bring my car in right away, agreed it's unsafe to drive. BMW Brian Jessel lent me a car to drive while they put my BMW through diagnostic and fought back and forth with my warranty company.. my warranty company finally settled with BMW to cover $300 out of almost 5 grand in repairs. Hold on.Let's compare the diagnostic to my warranty coverage .. doesn't make sense. I contact my dealer for some help,I want this lemon out of my hands you would have to be blind not see my warranty should handle this. Turns out my warranty company doesn't like dealing with Brian Jessel BMW.. apparently they have some bad blood. They don't trust the diagnostic report and refuse to deal with them AND Marv Jones Honda claims they didn't know this. Marv Jones Honda is CLEARLY uneducated in the product they sell, they have lied and given me the complete run around, they are trying to post blame on BMW Brian Jessel ( who has actually gone above and beyond for me the last 6 weeks ). Marv Jones Honda is shady business.. Friday they said they would have a loaner car for me to use while this nightmare continues and they would handle everything.. it was going to be okay.Tuesday the sales manager Jason told me .."you bought a car, cars break down. It's past the 90 days." He told me "deal with your warranty and I'll see what your car is worth after that and then take it on a trade in".. he said "there's a misunderstanding I'm not giving you a loaner car" more lies and then told me to leave.. Horrible. In our business deal last summer someone could have let me know my warranty company has bad blood with BMW when I'm buying a BMW. No? Or maybe when I called the day my car broke down they could have recommended me take it somewhere else? Does that change things here?.. Let me tell you something Jason it's not a good feeling when my car payment comes out and there's nothing in my driveway... I'm happy to be an example because I'm VERY GOOD at sharing my experiences and promoting what I believe in, and what I don't. Please don't feel sorry for me because it's just a material item and I'm a firm believer in everything works itself out higher in the end PLEASE share or like this post to stress that we won't let it go unnoticed the shady, unethical business behind MARV JONES HONDA and make it aware they will always continue selling poor warranties and providing disgusting customer service. #positivevibesonly read more

Would not recommend. Long story but they charged me $499 for a product called I global that they put on my invoice without asking or explaining what this product is. Well it's such a scam and lousy product that they no longer carry it and of course won't refund me the money. So i get charged $499 for a product that I would never of agreed to if it was explained to me what it was, they are dishonest and crooks in my books read more

I have dealt with many dealers over the years but the experience I had here was nothing short of horrible. I went here looking to trade my 3 year old Honda for another they had on their lot. They offered considerably less for my trade, which was new enough it could be resold as "Certified Used" for a much higher price. Even by dealership standards I was shocked at how little they were willing to offer me even though I was looking to buy a car from them. The salesman then tried to quickly defend a near $10 000 claim as "not serious" when it was discovered on the car I was looking at. It may have just been the salesman I was dealing with but it didn't seem like the management staff were too keen on giving me a bit more on my trade in order to close a deal. I had much more pleasant experiences dealing with other local Honda dealers until I found the car I wanted. read more

We purchased a second Honda from the Marv Jones dealership in August. Our purchase this time, was a new Civic Touring vehicle and we are delighted with it. My husband did his research on-line and emailed Derek, who once again provided excellent customer service! His knowledge of the car; it's electronics, updates from our 2010 Civic, etc. helped us make our decision. Derek offered to provide further instructions with the electronics after we had driven the car for awhile; he's very reliable. We've driven Honda vehicles since 1991 and have been very happy with our two Civics purchased last October and this August. read more
