Besides your Porsche might be my Pinto & vice versa. I've been driving SUVs since about 2012. I just love the size, height & look. I've never desired to go back to a 'regular' car. Ha! Finding a new SUV was both challenging & a thrill. I sourced info from three very good friends who love cars & know their s*@t when it comes to everything vehicles. I finally settled on the VW Atlas. German engineering here we go. Fahrvergnügen! It is a robust & steller looking SUV in my humble opinion. My biggest SUV so far. The interior features are endless, sound system on point, touch screen superb, panoramic roof = I can see the stars, massage chairs = yikes hope I don't fall asleep while driving! Outside - the body is a solid 10! Stunning headlights, solid grill, R badge on display, VW logo lights up, 21" wheels, 269HP/Turbo & the curvature lines on the body = beautiful! Price = if I told yaa, I'd have to off yaa! Some of the other SUVs I looked at were the - Nissan Pathfinder, Toyota Grand Highlander, Mazda CX90. Atlas Cross Sport, Lexus, Acura MDX A Spec & the Audi Q8. I test drove a few of these SUVs & none of them captured me into liking them quite like - the VW Atlas 2025 did. Its got all the bells & whistles & then some! To make this dream come true, not only did I sell a kidney but a big toe as well. It's dayum expensive! Excellent customer service provided by salesman Caleb Penno & manager John, Kelly in Finance & Andy in Service! I never felt pushed or forced into buying it as I was very clear on what I wanted & expected. I was told that the computer program for my Volkswagen was not available anymore. I want my money back and be reimbursed for the missing anti theft system. Since the "repair" the corresponding light in the dash is permanently lit now. In a nutshell: The billed work was never done and the work done wasn't authorized by me and carried out by a non Volkswagen authorized contractor. The results after the "repair" was that the new key I paid about 700 dollars for wasn't really needed because the old original key is now working perfectly fine. In the past 25 years myself and my family has bought 5 cars here That tradition can come to an end soon.

The sales manager--I believe--was a bald middle-aged man who did not seem to want to return my deposit and wanted to make me buy the car. Anyway, he said that he had a good deal for me. Then I responded, "what is a good deal?" He did not respond back!! I left that dealership with a bad after taste. How can you make a customer wait that long? Speedy service- JPT Downtown very clearly has way fewer clients, its nowhere near as crowded, and I am assisted immediately by a service advisor every time I come in. I also just had a dead battery recently, and they were able to get me a service appointment immediately, even in the midst of one of the most chaotic storms in the region's history. Their processing times also seem considerably faster than every other place that I have taken my car to. 2. Attention to detail- Despite having my car serviced in multiple dealerships, JPT Downtown was the only place that noticed that my floor mats were not safety compliant, and rectified it immediately. They're also the only dealership where the service representative does a walk around the car with me, Car ownership was never meant to be easy, and if it were me, I'd probably stick to transit if I didn't need it to go to work. On the bright side though, their service department makes the upkeep portion a lot easier by providing useful insights on what needs to be taken care of.

I dealt with David and his professionalism and courtesy was definitely noted, I was certainly welcomed to the dealership without any prejudice, at no point did he put any pressure on me during the buying process and he was quite responsive to my questions and concerns and really came though. There were some inconveniences involved, including having to return to the dealership's service center a week later to have an oil change done after purchase, after being advised that one was already done at the time of purchase but like anything else, glitches happen and David took care of that by sending me a complimentary voucher for the next service. Leaving the dealership with a bottle of champagne and a firm handshake of gratitude from David was icing on the cake.
