I made certain he knew, when dropping off the car, as well as when he spoke to my husband that I work at a wholesaler for alternators and starters, and could have the part delivered at no charge whatsoever. They said absolutely not, proceeded to charge us for $450+taxes for a part that I could've had for free, bought it from a company that MY company actually supplies, ALSO RELAYED to them by us. Ridiculous. Wouldn't listen to reason, never will go back to them. They are scammers. Extremely unfortunate as I would absolutely love to support a small business in my own community, but yet... I have to deal with folks like these. Look at your bill carefully, you can question it, but they will probably still end up scamming you out of hundreds of dollars.

Dealt with another franchise-based local shop for *two* alignments; both times they failed to do the job correctly and tried to brush it off. I got my money back. I was busy with my business for a several months so we drove on the bad alignment and cupped (i.e., completely killed) my tires, so I'll replace them soon before the year is out. Why the back story? Because unlike my (failed) experience a few months earlier... this time I was smarter in my selection process. I selected Tyner based on their positive online reviews and their high quality 3D (camera-based) alignment equipment. I was able to stand and watch the alignment procedure from the shop door. The alignment was done properly, step by step as I watched. Our vehicle now drives straight, the steering wheel is perfectly centered, and I respected the suggestion for new tires at the end (which I knew ahead of time) but not feeling any pressure asserted to purchase them from the shop. The price of the alignment was also market value (not overpriced) so I feel I got the value that I was looking for; a simple job done properly.

They were friendly and quick to accommodate. I dropped off my car walked home and waited for their call. He quoted me about an hour and the whole service probably took 1.25 hours. When I picked up my vehicle the kind man informed me that he sealed my tire and pumped up my spare tire to its correct pressure. The best part about all of this was that it cost me under $30!
