What's not to love, amazing service and food.. I love the Chocolate Martinis, great ambience and a wonderful Vibe.

Prices can be a little steep. Get there at the right time and you can get some of your favorite Martinis at half the price. The food has never disappointed and we continue to go back when we are downtown for at least an appetizer or a dessert, plus a few of their amazing drinks. Cozy and welcoming. We've been here several times even though the service is slow because the drinks are good however we won't be back based on a recent experience. 3 of us walked in around 6pm on a Friday to grab dinner and drinks. There were two tables outside with customers. There was no one at the bar and maybe 3 tables seated inside. We walked in and were talking about whether we wanted to get a table or sit at the bar. We started walking towards the bar when the bartender walked by and in a very rude tone said, Can you all wait to be seated? We stopped and said oh sure. We were caught off guard because the bar seating is typically open seating. After digesting how rudely the bartender talked to us we decided to go elsewhere and left. Could have been a completely different situation had he asked us nicely or greeted us and said something like, we'll be right with you! As someone who has worked in the service industry for years, specifically high end restaurants, it was no way to be "greeted" or spoken to. Won't be back - plenty of other businesses in town to spend our money with! read more

Such a darling place! Various seating included tables, high tops, lounge areas, and of course stools at the bar. Best Dreamsicle martini I've had! Ordered the solo dip to start which is artichoke & spinach, yum! Portobello Mushroom Ravioli was superb! The server was also our bartender, since we were the only customers, had his full attention. 1 star is too many. Not much to report on the food or drink menu--not memorable and not worth commenting on--but service is consistently worse than I thought was possible. We've had tweaker servers yell at us for moving a chair a foot over for a stroller to a waitress shoving a plate in someone's face because she wanted one of our party to stack their plates on those she was holding. I'd rather stub my toe than ever go back to this place (we've been 3 times and never again). read more

DISCRIMINATORY, we sat down at opening to have a glass of wine and were told AGGRESSIVELY that a service dog is a health violation which is untrue. I tried to tell this very aggressive and scary man my animal is a service dog who is protected under state and federal law. He got in my husbands face as my husband (a former mega night club manager who is a pro at the art of de-escalation) and was angry because I disagreed with him, we were literally leaving walking out the door and he told us loudly in front of other patrons to "GET THE F OUT" There were 2 older women who also just sat down, I'm sure this altercation altered their overall experience as patrons. This man is ignorant and a liability and from other locals an ongoing issue. We could have very easily been told to have sat on their empty patio and given them our buisness but this man's ego and disrespect for women was more important than being ADA Compliant. Disability can happen to anyone at anytime and I feel so violated and humiliated. This human is scary, I hope he can find the help he needs to treat people as someone in the service industry with an ounce of dignity and respect. There is a way to communicate and interact with other people easily and respectfully and he was more interested in embarrassing us and getting us out of their EMPTY establishment. As per the locals, this place isn't busy for a reason and this is it. read more

Great little place! We went for a lunch and it was very quiet, until we got there. But great for a couple of drinks and eats. The martinis were so good! Our group had the charcuterie board, burgers, fish tacos and portobello ravioli. All were very tasty. The service was excellent! Very friendly and didn't take long at all. read more

Horrible food at ridiculous prices. Wine is marked up unbelievably high. $8 bottle marked up to $55 !!?!! It is pretty but that's it.

They make an outstanding espresso martini. Just tried the new Pumpkin Spice whipped espresso martini. It is delicious; right amount of pumpkin and spice. The whipped cream turns it into the perfect desert drink. Definitely recommend!! read more

Seriously the weirdest visit to an establishment EVER! We loved the ambiance and thought we would have a great end of our evening at about 7:30pm. We decided to go in a room inside with very comfy chairs. We were a party of 6. We had a super friendly waitress and were excited to enjoy our drinks. They had a lovely live singer and we wanted to enjoy the music, so we cracked the window (about 6 inches). The owner (lady) and a man came into the room and made us feel super unwelcome- so rude! Literally in my 48 years, I have never felt this way! We are great clients and support all businesses. This is a shame for the city of Brenham. Will never never come back! read more

We were enjoying a great cigar and cocktails at Brown Water Cigar Bar when the bartender mentioned their sister establishment. What an absolutely charming place. Upscale martini and wine bar (cocktails too) with a fantastic front patio on Main Street. The decor is modern and tasteful and the place was intentionally overstaffed to ensure that everyone was taken care of. They offer a small food menu (it was late and we had already eaten) and they have 30 wine selections on tap. (yes, you heard that right). We were looking for cocktail night caps and ended up having two delicious custom cocktails a piece. Dirty Harry, Flirty Martini, Sazerac and an Espresso Martini. Absolutely fantastic place to start or end an evening. Plenty of tables and I did see a private room and a bar that you could sit at if you prefer. Whether you live in the area or you happen to be in town or are planning a getaway (we came in from Cypress), I highly recommend trying this big city experience in this small town. My grand daughter and I were the only people that were inside. There were a couple of tables outside that were occupied. We sat and looked over the menu. She ordered the loaded fries and the pan seared calamari. I ordered the pork sliders and a glass of red blend wine. They were out of the red blend, so I ordered a cabernet. The waitress was very slow, and not very knowledgeable about wine. The calamari was very pale and not crispy at all. The queso on the loaded fries was very salty. One of my slider buns was a bit black on top. I ordered a second glass of wine at the same time I asked for the check. I was finished with said wine, with no check nor waitress in sight. And I don't drink fast. I ended up approaching the bar, where 2 men were preparing drinks to see about my check. They didn't even look at me! But the waitress finally came back and I paid and left. I was very disappointed, as I was hoping for a new place to bring friends from out of town. read more

This place is NOT ADA Compliant - AND RUDE! I came to dine and introduce Uncorked to some out of town guests when I was told I could not eat in the dining room area with a dog. I explained she was a service dog and ADA states I could sit/eat where all others do. But, I was told I could eat outside on the patio in the heat...but NOT inside. We had been to several other places in Brenham which greeted us - and my service dog - with a warm welcome .. and even a bowl of water for her! After returning a margarita that was "undrinkable", the bartender confronted our table aggressively questioning what was wrong with his drink. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. This ruined our experience. Our waitress was nice though overwhelmed as other staff stood overlooking the drinks that needed to be ran or to help her being the only waitress on staff during happy hour. Bartender needed customer service training...not very friendly. Felt like I was a burden...

Had been looking forward to trying out this new business. As the location, outdoor area and inside looked so charming. My friend and I walked inside. My friend found a seat for us near the fireplace. I went to the bar to order two drinks and two waters. At the bar we're only a couple sitting. Two male bartenders. Neither acknowledged me. Both seemed very busy and serious. Unfriendly. After 15 mins, of me trying to get them to respond to me. The younger of the two asked what I wanted. I gave my order. He began making the first drink. Then, turns to me and says, are you going to sit at the bar? I answered , no. I'm taking my drinks over by the fireplace. He stops shaking my drink. Turns and says, you have to place your order with a waitress that will come by. I can't make it. What??? I said, your already making my drink order. He says, sorry. What?? Ok. So, I walked over without my drinks and sat with my friend. We waited for another 15 mins. No waitress. My friend got up, went to the bar and asked for a waitress. Finally, one came over. It's now been 30 mins! Gave the order and my credit card to pay to the very unfriendly and disoriented Waitress. She NEVER came back! Again my friend went to the bar and asked where the order was. Another lady, I assume the manager. She was very apologetic says, I'll get it. Brings back one drink. Ugh. Still missing the other drink and my credit card. I flag the lady down. Ask her, can I have my card and I never got the other drink. She profusely apologized and went to find my card. After a total of one hour here!!! I got my card back and the one drink. Which the lady said was on the house. My friend took a few sips. She said, it was very good. The Manager did offer to make me a drink as we were leaving. I declined. We had been there for and hour and needed to leave to go eat dinner with family. As we were walking out, someone called my name! I turned and the bartender was walking behind me with a pink drink. Thanks, but we are literally walking out the door. No, Thanks! *I should also mention while all this was happening. The couple that sat across from us, were very upset & vocal about their missing drink and cheese board! I do hope the Owner/Manager review this and make some changes. As my hometown needs new establishments for a growing population. It's extremely important to train the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable so the customer feels welcomed. Poor service on this scale, will sadly sink a new business. read more

Service is terrible! Our dude was more interested in socializing with other coworkers than serving his customers. He forgot our drink order, another wait person had to help us at one point. Then, no one returned at all. Finally, I had to go and request to close our ticket. It's a shame. It could be a nice place to hang out. read more

Ate there this week. The service was beyond terrible especially for the price. We waited upward of 20 maybe 30 minutes to get our drinks and then another 20 to get my wife's water they forgot. Each time we ordered drinks it was an extended wait, I can say that the food was really good expect for my wife's soggy in done pizza. There was 4 of us, 2 entries came out at least 10 minutes before the last 2. This meal for 2 was $120...that doesn't include the tip. I left them a bad review on Facebook and they deleted it and blocked me. Never going back to for that level of service at any price! read more

She wasn't rude, but not really a personality that would be good for a waitress. Then again could have been an "off day" for her. My friends picked up on it immediately. read more

Fantastic list of martinis, a wide variety of mixed drinks and beers. Surprised to find that they now have a dinner menu. My husband had a meatball (easily 1/3 pound or maybe even 1/2 pound) and I tried the fried shrimp. The meatball on angel hair was delicious and I enjoyed my shrimp although I wish there would've been a side of rice or something instead of just a bed of arugula but it was tasty. Great addition to downtown Brenham.a full service upscale bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Been there twice and both times the service was very good. There is a small list of appetizers and pizza. The pizzas was excellent and the charcuterie tray was even better. read more

This wine bar is fabulous. The service was the perfect blend of being very attentive, but not buggy. A good selection of different wines, although their secret weapon might be the chef and kitchen. I expected (maybe) some simple appetizers, but my assumptions were wrong. bye - I recommend the "house salad". I thought I would get the usual lettuce in a bowl with dressing. What I got was a work of art that tasted great! The meal that followed was in the same league as the salad (great!). The atmosphere was great, even though it was pretty busy. My wife and I sat at a little fireplace area - right next to a group of people (maybe 10?) and it was still cozy. This place has outside seating available, but when we were there it was a little chilly. So we're looking forward to coming back and checking that out for a little different twist on our first experience. read more

the food was fantastic! We had the pork sliders, pulled pork pizza, house salad and the mushrooms. Terrific presentation of the salad, only bested by its taste! The pizza baked to perfection. We shared the mushrooms so I was disappointed to only get one instead of the whole platter if 4. Two big thumbs up for the chef! I hope they expand the menu soon as everything was delicious. Great ambiance inside and outside with fireplaces in both places. The waitstaff excelled with friendly and prompt service. Will definitely return soon! read more

I have never left a Yelp review but I was so disappointed with our experience at Uncorked. Our first experience at this new venue in our town was not a good one. We had a group that was meeting there and I got there early to see about pushing a few tables together. The staff was unbelievably rude and made a HUGE issue with accommodating us, even though the venue was empty. The female staff member in particular was so rude and made me and the others feel unwelcome so much so that we were trying to find another venue to move our group to. We ended up staying. I ordered a wine flight and the waiter never told me which wine was which and they were not labeled. The service was not good at all. Altogether, it was a really bad experience and I will never go back and we definitely won't meet there again. Disappointing. read more
