Beautiful coffee pastry bar
Cindy S.

Atmosphere is beautiful! Staff is very friendly and helpful with ordering. So many things to do...shop and sip, sit down for a brick oven pizza, shop the olive oil bar, enjoy the steak chicharrones...chefs kiss! Even a coffee bar and bakery case...seriously, take some time to enjoy! Absolutely loved our eating experience and then took a little stroll around the garden area.

This restaurant-and-retail store is hot and newish on the Round Top scene. We dropped in during the antique fair for an 11am lunch to beat the crowds - and so glad we did because at one point they ran out of menus. We started with truffle fries, tuna tartare. The fries were the favorite of our dining experience. I don't rec the tuna tartare; nor do I rec the tortilla soup. It didn't have much flavor or any spice. The best I could do was doctor it up with salt and pepper. My mom and sis split the burger - and they really enjoyed it. The pros are that it's a large restaurant, has a wine and coffee bar, offers a lot of opps to shop while you dine, and the food comes out fast. They've also got a robust wine list. Pizzas seem to be popular, especially since they have a large (and beautiful) pizza oven. I wish they offered gluten-free pizza crust or gluten-free bread for the sandwiches.

Best restaurant in Round Top hands down. Awesome decor, delicious food, gorgeous bar and super cool store. Loved it. I would for sure go back. I need to have gluten-free food so I got the pesto pasta Primavera. The pesto pasta was amazing. The burger was fantastic and the pizzas are great.Dont sleep on this place.

This is my third meal at Boon & Co and I love it. The lunch menu has something for everyone. Check out the salads where you can add a protein. Also check out the Cheeseburger where you can choose truffle or regular fries. Today I watched them make a pizza. When your done eating at the restaurant you will find the perfect gift. The service is great and they can accommodate groups.

This was our first time in Round Top and Boone & Co was the best spot to be for everything; drinks, lunch and dinner! Delicious!!!

Absolutely stunning place. Eat, dine, brunch, happy hour, and shop! All under one roof. The concept is great. The food is delicious the service is great! I didn't take pics of the gifts my friend purchased but they bag them in a gift bag with tissue and ribbon. I love everything about this place. My favorite in Round Top!

Bar upstairs

We had a wonderful experience on our date night. Prices are a little high but it is a beautiful place and to be expected for Round Top. Had drinks upstairs in the bar and then dinner in restaurant. The grounds are beautiful also. It was like a mini vacation. Plan to stay a while and don't be in a hurry. You can shop for gifts, foods, and designer clothing if that is your thing.

Love this cute new spot in Round Top! I've been eagerly watching the building the last couple years and was so glad it's finally open. It's a gourmet grocer, sandwich/salad spot, boutique and (soon-to-be) bar. The interior design is impeccable in a charming french country style with unique pops of wallpaper and color. The staff and owner are so friendly, and the display of goods and foods are eye-catching and unique. We stopped in the first day and I had an almond croissant, which they heated for me. Yum. Came in today with a group for lunch and we all loved our food! There was a good crowd inside, but not too loud or packed. My new favorite spot in town!

Mushroom & prosciutto sandwich 5/5

Great spot in Round Top. Today, we stopped in for lunch and thought everything was delicious and high quality. The sandwich and fries were my favorite. The salad was a tad on the salty side, but the flavors were there.

Jesus was my waiter and he was excellent. The food was on point and so was the service. Be sure to polish the meal off with the brownie.

The Stone Cellar

The Stone Cellar

For our last day in Round Top, we stopped in at the Stone Cellar for a quick bite to eat. The venue…read moreis actually split into two places, the Stone Cellar and Jon Perez Lounge. The Stone Cellar is to the left and from there you can just order the food from the counter, whereas the lounge you will get table service. Given that this place also hosts live music, trying it out during the day when there wasn't a band (or crowds) made for an enjoyable lunch outing. I would say the menu has pub/bar fare and given that we were both craving pizza and a hamburger, we decided to order one of each to split. The staff also mentioned the Fried Gouda Bites are popular, so we opted for those as well. Let's start with the latter - the Fried Gouda bites were amazing, everything you could expect from freshly deep-fried cheese, decadent and tasty, these are a must order. For the burger, we ordered The Standard, and as the name suggests, their standard burger (I call these "diner-style") and my brother and I both agreed - this is damn near the perfect burger and the best one I've had in quite some time. It was just the perfect amalgamation meat, condiments, and sauce, with a delicious bun holding it all in together. Finally, the margarita pesto pizza was also great - crispy thin crust and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. So, don't overlook the Stone Cellar as a place to go see some live music, it has some amazingly delicious food as well. We will be back next year.

Greeted with a smile and took our order, paid and got a number to take to our table. I had the fish taco special and it was cooked perfectly. We also had the cowgirl junky thin pizza which hit the spot. Each of us got the lavender ranch water which was refreshing and flavorful. Can't wait to explore more and maybe hear some music this weekend.

Saw that an old Taco places had people sitting down and eating so we gave it ago. The owner was super friendly and sat us without a reservation. When I say surprised, cheated and floored that we didn't notice the change in restaurants in the year and a half they've been opened! The servers were first off some of the kindest ones. Each of them that came to our table we're awesome. This old lady didn't catch the name to our server, but he deserves extra points for answering all my questions and allowing me to take menus back to the hotel I work at! My hubby and I weren't starving and we decided to share a small plate and one main dish. The Mozzarella Tartine had an excellent taste. N ended to be less charred. A bit difficult to cut into with a butter knife. The Steak Frites my friends was one of our top favorite piece of steak we have had since moving to Texas 26 years ago!! We could cut the meat with our forks. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crisp and that aioli -- I will take a bottle! Restaurant had perfect lighting and truly classy looking decor. This is a place you need to bring your significant other or best friend and enjoy. We were told that their lunch menu basically stays the same, but their dinner and brunch menu change on occasion and last night was obviously their special occasion menu.

This place is located in Montgomery technically but is right next to Conroe you can see the lake driving up it was so beautiful. It's a prohibition style speakeasy with the hidden door and the ambiance is so beautiful inside with an amazing bar and just a great vibe. We loved how the waitresses were dressed in dresses from the time it was so classy and fun. And we went on a night they had live music and it was sooo good. Now let's talk about the drinks there were so many choices of cocktails bourbon whiskey you name it. I let the waitress pick mine it was something with pear and it was yummy. We both loved our drinks. My husband loved his old fashion. The food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed the crab toast and lamb lollipop and the Chilean sea bass which were all to die for. Oh and Lavendar creme brûlée for dessert. We met Rob and his wife the owners who are the nicest people and now we can't wait to come back with friends to salsa night. If you're looking for a nice dinner spot with great drinks food and music on certain nights just the best service you have to come try this location you won't be disappointed. Our waitress was admittedly new, but when our food arrived an hour and a half later, it was so disappointing. Three of us ordered ribeyes, and none of them were cooked to our order; plus, they were charred on the bottom & sides. The wagyu burger was burned as well. We also ordered a bottle of wine, but the first 3 choices were out of stock!? Really? Our choice was to jump into a $60.00 or $80.00 bottle. The service team never checked in on how our food tasted or how we were doing. It's like they knew that they ruined our dinner and experience. About this, they call it a speakeasy because the doorway is a bookcase that is as obvious as the nose on your face. The dude hosting the stand at the door, did not even ask if we enjoyed ourselves. For these prices, they should be ashamed of the food they served us. Seriously! Do not waste a dime here. I am making sure everyone I know does not make the mistake we did.

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there.
