We stopped in Burton on the way home from Austin. It was a delightful find! The outside is plain and an assuming. We actually drove past it. But once inside, it was full of charm. It's about a mile off the highway, but well worth the two minute drive! And the food was exceptional! We are picky about Tex Mex. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The margaritas on the rocks were freshly made and well done. We just found a new "must stop" on our way to Austin. And back!

I feel certain that I can call myself a repeat customer. I've been coming here once a week for the last few weeks and I am always impressed with the food and service. I've tried: El Mariachi, Shrimp quesadillas, chicken quesadillas and poblano chicken. All great. Pictured you can see poblano chicken and El Hacienda combo platter. We ordered to-go (Thanks a lot 'Rona) and enjoyed our food at home. Along with my food I enjoyed a strawberry margarita. I have tried most of the flavors at this point, including: mango, sangria, peach and strawberry. One is enough to get the party started... I've heard they have a secret recipe. I don't know what's in these margs, but they keep you coming back! The owners are likable and I want them to stay in business for years to come. Burton people are lucky to have this place.

Fresh salsas and homemade tortilla chips! Generous portions. Ground beef was just okay. Will return to order something else.

My whole group got food poisoning. Should've known after seeing the long list of repeat health code violations by the bathroom. DO NOT GO

These people 120% gave me reheated quesadillas. I'm certain they weren't even made today.

Stumbled into this gem while adventuring through Round Top whilst starving, looking for a bite to…read moreeat and they did not disappoint. You order right at the bar (which is kinda fun because you get to peek at all the drink options). Inside is a little tight, not gonna lie but they've got a solid outdoor setup with plenty of seating. Looks like they even have fire pits, which I'm sure hits different when you've got time to hang and sip a few. Even though it was busy, service moved pretty quick and everyone was still friendly, which I always appreciate. And the food? So good. The tuna nachos came out looking all colorful and pretty, but the flavor combo is what really stole the show. Definitely a spot I'd swing back to next time I'm in Round Top.

It was hot out and stores were staring to close, so we came here for some drinks and food to escape the heat. Of the several times that we've been to Round Top, we had never been to Round Top Brewing and were pleasantly surprised...by everything. The spot is cute and cozy--nothing fancy and plenty of charm that isn't too forced. We ordered food and drinks at the bar and then sat in their indoor patio area (no A/C but tolerable circulation with the fans). They make their own beer, and we both enjoyed the kolsch that we stuck with for the evening. As far as food, we shared a giant pretzel and our daughter got a plain pizza. The pizza is that cardboardesque version, but it was edible. The pretzel was decent, but definitely a frozen-to-oven situation. What we *do* want to shout out is the mustard it came with. It was SO good. We asked if it was homemade, and it allegedly was: so spicy and nasal-clearing and tasty. The mustard alone is what is pushing up from 3 stars to four! Bottom line: nothing crazy special, but a good place with friendly folks working and decent food and drink. Prices are consistent with the area, and it's certainly better than Mandito's and it beats the chaos of Royer's. We won't be back, but we're glad we tried it.

I had eggs Benedict with crab, wonderful bacon, and home fries, and because I had traveled all the way out to Belleville, Texas. I made it a point to complement it all with a pancake, which was equally wonderful. It's a lovely restaurant and I think I read somewhere that it is old time Texas architecture and I must tell you it really was quite lovely. There was a patio and the weather was wonderful. We chose not to dine there but the next time we're in town. There is no question that we will make it a point to do so. The bartender was very capable, bloody Mary's and mimosas as well as a myriad of other drinks. Very many top shelf, liquors, and a wonderful cup of coffee make for not only a pleasant dining experience, but frankly a wonderful dining experience. If you're ever in Belleville, Texas, I would make it a point to stop by and enjoy really a top level dining experience.

From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt cozy and inviting with a great atmosphere. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, our waitress was so sweet. I ordered fish and my husband had the steak, both were beautifully presented, but more importantly, absolutely delicious. The quality of the food really stood out. One of the highlights of the evening was watching fresh pasta being made right in front of us, which is something you don't come across often. We'll definitely be back. This has quickly become one of our new favorite spots, and I highly recommend it.

We were greeted by Tano, who was very friendly and welcoming. We told him we were camping at Lake Somerville Birch Creek and he was very helpful. Menu was extensive , from breakfast all day to grilled items, senior and kid's sections and Mexican favorites. Chips and salsa were delivered immediately. Tasty salsa and good chips. We lived in Phoenix for many years and visited Mexico many times so we have a good understanding of Mexican food. Stacey waited on us and they let us the onion rings were homemade. We ordered them as an appetizer bc who doesn't like good onion rings? They were perfect, lightly battered and cooked to perfection Reminded us on onion rings at Bo's in Key West. Not the sad kind full of breading that you bite into and the whole onion slides out. These were great! I had a beef chimichanga that was crisp and loaded with steak, covered with guacamole and perfectly delicious. Will definitely return when in the area and highly for a good meal at a reasonable price. Nice pour on wine as well.

Jim had the chicken fried steak small order he had beans and salad bar as his sides. The unfortunate thing was there was no tomatoes on the salad bar. The atmosphere was normal nothing to write home about beware of the traffic outside on the road. People in this town and surrounding area drive like bats from you know where. I give this place a four star rating simply because of the service and the fact that I think it's the only thing keeping this little tiny town together
