They have a wonderful selection. And they are the only place I know that correctly calls "sausage kolaches" as their real name--Klobásník--or Klobásníky (plural.) but don't expect those to still be there. On a weekday, they might still have these Czech treats until 3 pm, but on the weekends, they go fast! Always friendly staff and i just love looking through their home decor. They have the cutest little tchotchkes that are locally crafted and so wonderful for home, garden, or lawn. I have bought many a christmas and birthday gift on the way. Great metal art as well! The bathrooms are always clean and smell fine. I highly recommend stopping at least one time to see everything they have to offer. It's a true, "small Texas town" stop! Oh, and set the GPS! Every pre-made food item we grabbed was terribly over-sauced. Quality seems to have dropped significantly. The bagged popcorn I bought expires today and tasted like cardboard. The last two times we've stopped, however, I have been totally grossed out by the women's bathroom. Last night was the last straw. The first time the bathrooms were gross was in February. They were also out of paper towels, and I did tell the lady at the cash register. She actually had the gall to tell me, "Well, I can't even get in there to go to the bathroom let alone clean it or replace the towels." That was interesting. Last night..it was bad. It was in serious need of a cleaning, the trash cans in the stalls were atrocious... words cannot even begin to explain and if words could, I wouldn't want to post it on here. Westwood - you need to put on more attendants in the evening or hire someone to come in and clean your restrooms. For the health of your customers, and the health of your staff, I seriously recommend that you overhaul your policies on your restrooms. It is really unfortunate that I probably won't be a patron at your place anymore because I really do like your gas station and convenience store. Seriously, get it together.
