This is the smallest Buc-ee's that we have ever seen

Bab-ee Buc-ee's. This is a very, very small Buc-ee's. Like there is a line for the women's bathroom and just a few bathroom stalls small. Still, it's Texas, so we stopped for the Potty Party and to fill gas. Bab-ee Buc-ee's. Home to a Bab-ee Beaver and Bags of Beaver Nuggets.

Smallest Buc-ees.... Only 8 pumps..... no DEF Size of a normal convenience store. They have a limited selection of hot foods and baked items. Jerky selection is large! No shopping for unique items. Great gas prices.

This is likely the smallest bucees you will go to but still has the things you need. They even have things i haven't seen in other bucees like the corn dog and pizza stick. I don't recommend the pizza stick, it tastes like something out of the airport when you are in desperate need of food. The corn dog was surprisingly good. I guess you should expect this place to be packed based on the other reviews. But I was okay after visiting mid day

Much smaller than the mega Buc-ees, but it carries a god variety. - the same coffee - warmed food items - a jerky bar - inexpensive ice - gas - convenience store items - CLEAN restrooms, just not a lot of them

Don't get to excited folks because this Buc-ee's location isn't one of the Texas-sized locations that Buc-ee's is famous for. Though not very big, it is a great location to stop to use the restroom (very clean - 4 stalls) , stock up on snacks, gas up, and/or let your furry friend use the potty in the grassy area outside.

Disappointed to say the least. This Buc-ee's is just a normal gas station. Do not go out of your way to go to this gas station. It has some of the same food items but none of the atmosphere and attraction as the bigger stores. Also no gifts and souvenirs. There is a little end cap with some drink koozies, nothing else. They do have a small jerky counter, but you will not see people yelling out "FRESH BRISKET ON THE BOARD" They had a little warmer station with about 10 sandwiches in it. I couldn't tell you if they were brisket or something else. I didn't get that close to look at them. Anyway, there were 20 gas pumps and a lot of ice freezers outside. This is all well and fine. My disappointment comment at the beginning was about the restrooms. The men's room stunk. It was no better than any other truck stop restroom. One of the two soap dispensers were out of soap and so was one of the paper towel dispensers. My wife said the ladies room was fine. Now Buc-ee's always touts the cleanliness of their superstores. Every one we've been in during our travels has always been a great experience. always, always clean. This store needs to take a lesson from these bigger stores and get their act together. The store itself was very clean. Just the restrooms need some attention. Sorry for the lame photos. There was nothing to take pictures of. They didn't even have a magnet that has the Giddings name on it.

A nice stop on Hwy 290. We stopped by for some snacks - got coffee and cheese stick - and the food was really good. The shop is very clean and neat. And service great too.

What no windshield squeegies at Buc-ees?

They are off to the side in the parking lot not next to the gas pumps

On the other side of that wall is another seating area for those, who want to sit and eat. Some wall sockets available there also. They do have a deli area, with some ready items. There are also screens in front of the cooking area, where you can place your order, pay and wait for your call, when done. The parking lot was not too bad. A good place to park for the night. Not congested.

If I had the ability to rate the store and restaurant separately, the store would get a higher rating, probably 5 stars. However, the restaurant brought it down. I ordered the 290 Plaza Breakfast Plate which is supposed to be one each of bacon, sausage, and egg, plus a slice of toast and fries. The sausage is basically a hot dog and the egg was overcooked (I ordered over-medium and it was rock-hard). The fries were instead a McDonald's style hash brown patty. In addition, they tried to overcharge me. The menu showed a price of $3.99 and they tried to charge $4.99. When I pointed out the error they told me that the menu was wrong. They were reluctant to honor the posted price until I said I didn't want it anymore. At that point they finally changed it to the posted price. Many people might say "it's a truck stop, what do you expect?" I have been to truck stops all over the country and many of them have great service and great quality...that's what I expect. I will definitely stop here for drink refills and snack purchases, but won't be using the restaurant anymore.

There were a lot of pumps down that visit, but I lucked into one that was working. The squeegees were viable and not out of water, which gave me a great opportunity to do some window washing while I fueled. It was late (after 5p) on a Sunday and with a lot of travelers, I found the trash bins overflowing as others have noted. I mean, it happens. People come by and clean out a trip's (or a year's) worth of trash here; not fair to them, but that's the deal you make when you serve the public. What I found interesting is that even though this is not a Top Tier fuel, my car actually seemed to run better on it. That was a "wow" moment, and it has added CEFCO to my list of brands to look for on road trips.

The CEFCO of Giddings, Texas will forever hold a special place in my memories (but I'll spare you…read morethe backstory). I was actually able to find some decently healthy food here, a prepackaged pickle and chocolate milk. Ok, now that I write that down it doesn't seem that healthy, but the pickle was actually pretty appetizing, (not disgusting at all, as you might assume a pickle in a bag to be, 100% recommend the pickle) and the milk was just... good. There is a Buck-ee's down the road but it's a smaller one and it doesn't have Tesla charging, the CEFCO is just as good in my experience when it come to bathrooms. The next time I pass through Giddings I will be coming back. (Also, saw a rainbow after a pretty intense rainstorm on Feb. 14 while they were playing my favorite song, so nice experience there.)

This place is legit though, a true place where locals go and eat and have some beers. I knew it would be a great place when we walked in and there was a sign that said $1.25 PBR, that can not be beat. I picked up a friend who was on location and he said he heard from the landowner we needed to try this place. So we drove about 15 minutes on a country road that had no lights or anything, we then stumbled upon this place. Walking in there wasn't that many people there, a pool table in the back and the place was lit by neon signs. I had the cheeseburger on some type of bun that they have which was legit. A standard greasy cheeseburger that made the bun soggy. The PBR's were going down all too easy and I wanted to stay, but knowing that I was a city slicker and there was a high chance I'd get my ass kicked we decided to leave. I would definitely hit this place up again. Such good food and cold cold beer. Yee-haw y'all.

We always see friends we know and usually make new friends while we're there. They usually have a special. Last nite it was brisket. I took a bite of my bros. delish!!!!! Comes w/2 sides. And one of them HAS to be the homemade german noodles. Hey, you're in German Czech country ya have to have homemade noodles. On Fri and Sat nites they have a band out back. Very cool. ( I use that word loosely in Texas in the summer) So, I'll finish talking about the burgers. They cook 'em up in back w/whatever you want on them and you can get it on a reg bun or jalapeno bun. They are so good and fresh and they're just an old fashioned hamurger. Just the way I like them. Oh and their ff are fried in peanut oil. They have cold beer (I'm told) and they have wine. Choice of red or white. That cracks me up. I like the "red". Gotta try it. You'll have to ask a local how to get there. Its in the boonies but worth it.
