What a nice surprise to visit Brossa's. Wonderful old house that brought the feel of Nona's Italian home. Our waitress was delightful. Full of energy and so helpful with the menu. Our chosen dishes were spot on. Tasted like I was back Italy. Highly recommend!

While staying at an AirBnB in Chappel Hill, we ventured over to Brossa's Cibo e Vino for dinner! The restaurant itself was cute and quaint! I loved that the staff seemed to know so many of the guests and it felt very family oriented. We ordered our food shortly after arrival but ended up waiting a very long time until they eventually came back and said they were out of one of the dishes we ordered and we'd need to adjust the order. We then reordered. The food took an incredibly long time to come out, but it was delicious! I would absolutely go back as all items we ordered were fantastic, but I'd hope the experience would be quicker next time.

Came here for a birthday dinner & it did not disappoint. We went in a Tuesday night & made a reservation, thankfully we did bc it was busy! The waitress was very nice & helped us with our questions. Food came out promptly & the portions were perfect. Was a great place to eat at!

We just wanted to grab a drink and very glad we stopped here. Because there are 5 of us, we didn't fit at the bar so we asked to sit outside. So cute with tanks holding herbs. The Clover Club is an excellent drink, sweet and pretty cocktail. We chose the bruschetta - so much more than we thought, three different types. The chef explained each. Delightful!

This place is fantastic. I drove in from Austin to take my grandma to dinner and found this gem. I will definitely make the trip back to Brenham to visit this restaurant! We had the meatballs, garlic bread, sausage & vodka pasta, chicken parmigiana, and tiramisu. Here are my thoughts: - Meatballs: delicious! I like my meatballs slightly more moist, but this is being not picky since they were still awesome. - Garlic bread: phenomenal. It tasted like it sat on butter and garlic before roasting (in a good way). Wow. This bread is sinful. This is a "must order"! - Sausage & Vodka: Homemade noodles on the thicker side with a perfectly balanced sauce. I half expected a sauce to at was a little overwhelming (as vodka sauces can be), but this surprised me in the best way. It was so good. It's made me a fan of this dish! Tiramisu: Very good, but not my favorite. Don't get me wrong it gets a 4.25/5, but I'm picky. I like my tiramisu to have more moisture (almost like a tres leches, but not quite as wet). Would order it again anyway because the flavors are there, though. Also heard they're experimenting with a cocktail bar--coming soon. I will be back!

Seafood pasta

Met my family here for a Christmas lunch. Hidden in an old house, it's a cute concept. Hubs enjoyed the seafood pasta. I liked the meatballs-very flavorful and good texture. We were disappointed that they had run out of eggplant parmigiana only a little over an hour into lunch service, especially since two of us are gluten sensitive. Glad to find they had GF pasta ($2 extra per plate), but it was very undercooked and too firm. Service was ok. $125 for an order of bread ($4), shrimp pasta, seafood pasta, and 2 spaghetti & meatball lunches.

Food was amazing! Servive was on point. Ambiance top notch. We were in town for one night and ran into this gem. The wine list is superb, give them a shot!

Fabulous as always! We live out of town and gladly drive 30+ minutes for this restaurant. The pastas are standouts. We also enjoy their wine selection and the addition of the cocktail menus.

Brossa's was our first stop during our weekend in Brenham-Roundtop and what a cool place this is. Hard to find a better setting for great Italian than in an historic old home, it just serves as a warm setting for a great meal. Since we were a bit in between meals, I opted for something light, ordering the Fagioli soup and we ordered the Arancini (special) for an appetizer for the table. The fried-risotto was amazing. The Arancini comes out in 4 big balls, almost like meatballs. I could make a meal off eating these alone. The Fagioli soup was also delicious, a nice, hearty soup. We had plans to come back and try their meatball dishes, their chicken alfredo, as well as to try their dinner menu, however, we just ran out of time. For our next trip down this way next year, we plan to go back to Brossa's. 4.5 stars

Did our own Arancini plating - we've been watching culinary class wars

It's a cute, little house style restaurant. You don't feel crowded though. The server was nice and readily available. Arancini was yummy but not what we've tried in Italy. The sauce isn't inside at all and comes on the outside that you can dip. We also started with the burrata salad. It doesn't come with bread but you can ask or get the garlic bread on the side dishes. The branzino was a good size. The house made pappardelle noodles have such a nice texture but the dish itself was too oily for me. It was called the Amatriciana. The wagyu meatball sandwich was nice, reminded us of the firehouse meatball sub. The meatball pasta tasted like the sandwich, which is on us since we ordered the same style dish haha I want to try the eggplant next time I go.

It is a very small restaurant, not convenient for larger groups. Also, I would highly recommend a reservation.

This man is ignorant and a liability and from other locals an ongoing issue. We could have very easily been told to have sat on their empty patio and given them our buisness but this man's ego and disrespect for women was more important than being ADA Compliant. Disability can happen to anyone at anytime and I feel so violated and humiliated. This human is scary, I hope he can find the help he needs to treat people as someone in the service industry with an ounce of dignity and respect. This old lady didn't catch the name to our server, but he deserves extra points for answering all my questions and allowing me to take menus back to the hotel I work at! My hubby and I weren't starving and we decided to share a small plate and one main dish. The Mozzarella Tartine had an excellent taste. N ended to be less charred. A bit difficult to cut into with a butter knife. The Steak Frites my friends was one of our top favorite piece of steak we have had since moving to Texas 26 years ago!! We could cut the meat with our forks. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crisp and that aioli -- I will take a bottle! Restaurant had perfect lighting and truly classy looking decor. This is a place you need to bring your significant other or best friend and enjoy. We were told that their lunch menu basically stays the same, but their dinner and brunch menu change on occasion and last night was obviously their special occasion menu.

We also ordered a bottle of wine, but the first 3 choices were out of stock!? Really? Our choice was to jump into a $60.00 or $80.00 bottle. The service team never checked in on how our food tasted or how we were doing. It's like they knew that they ruined our dinner and experience. About this, they call it a speakeasy because the doorway is a bookcase that is as obvious as the nose on your face. The dude hosting the stand at the door, did not even ask if we enjoyed ourselves.
