That 1st smell of a good cigar bar is awesome. It's way bigger than it appeared from the street. I wondered into one of the two walk in humidors as the wife headed to the bar for a glass of wine. I selected a few Rocky Patels and then got me a rum n coke. I passed on lighting a stick up as I knew we wouldn't be there that long. The shopkeeper came out with a sandwich board and told the people that they had to move down the sidewalk so that he could put out his signage. He was not conducting business during the parade. He was just out there, puffing on his cigar. Why couldn't he have waited until after the parade was over to put out his signage that advertised cheap cigarettes boxes?!

The ladies running the place were so knowledgeable and helpful. We had some nice conversations with other folks at the bar as well. Not surprising, as Brenham usually provides warm conversation whenever folks are out for a drink. There is also beer, sodas, and other beverages in the cooler.
