Pretty disgusted today, my wife and I walked up to the bar and this guy that appears to be the owner was behind the bar on his cell phone having a personal conversation. We walked up and stood there for a little while, he didn't stop talking on his phone , he didn't even look at us, much less acknowledge we were standing there in front of him. My wife said lets get out of here and as we turned to walk away he finally said how can I help you guys. I told him we were good, no thank you! So don't come here and waste your time or money coming to this place! read more

What a great place to sit and have a cold beer. It has the perfect atmosphere for an open-air bar in the country (no TV's). Ice cold can beer at the right price and sit and mingle with the locals. The old automotive memorabilia took me back to my younger years. We will definitely be back. read more

Love to come here and cool off. They have just about everything under the sun you could possibly want. My fiance and I had our wedding shower here. It was fiesta cantina themed and the owners are sooooo awesome. We had about 50 guests and it was just amazing, it also helped that the alcohol was affordable. Paula is very responsive and allowed us to make a selfie photo back drop, arrive early, and set it all up with no problem. There was a place for music to be set up, plenty of tables and chairs, an area for dancing outdoors but under awning which is nice in the case of inclement weather, luckily our day was fine but you never know so that gave us peace of mind. She even checked in on us to see if we needed anything occasionally. If you're looking for an affordable, intimate event at a place that screams vintage Texas, this is it. Everyone loved the sunset and it was easy to find bc its just off 290. I would highly recommend for small events. read more

My family of four went on a six day road trip through Texas. We were on our way from Houston to Austin, and decided to stop at this unique beer garden. It was one of our favorite "off the beaten path" finds! The antique store is so well cared for it's like visiting a museum. The attached outside beer garden is a perfect, and creative, match! We sat at the bar and talked with the owner and another couple that were regulars there. Cold drinks, and the best hospitality! We could have spent all day there! So glad we stopped! Make this a priority if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed! read more

Cool place! A groovy husband and wife team runs the place. LOTS of interesting finds. mostly auto related stuff (actual vintage vehicles, parts, salvaged items, tools and numerous toy collectables) but there are also decor and general found-object type things as well. Cozy, divey-but-properly-appointed ice house. A great place for interesting conversation and shared stories. We went twice in one day. They do take plastic, but they [currently 8/17] process cards via the wife's phone (as she's having a hard time convincing her husband to let go if his beloved old flip phone) so i'd bring cash in the event that she's not around. Beer selection is fine, but a little disappointing for a "beer garden" [again this as of 8/17 and may change by the time you read this], just the likes of shiner, bud, corona, lone star as i recall. but i wouldn't be surprised to see him work in some of the numerous nearby local craft in the near future. hint hint... Something tells me we'll be making this a regular stop. read more

My husband and I have passed this place for 3 years heading to Lake Buchanan and never knew it existed. We saw it today and decided to stop in. What a great place! PJ and her husband are so kind an enjoyable to talk to. They have incredible old school cars on their property, a super fun antique shop and a great beer garden.
