We LOVE Grapevine on Main. We've been twice now. Once for dinner and once for wine and snacks. My in-laws live less than a mile away so it's convenient for us to swing by. They get crowded on Friday and Saturday so be prepared to walk a little. Main Street has limited parking but there's a lot of nearby parking lots. The service was great, the food was excellent, and the drinks were delicious. We have sat inside and outside and love them both. The outside seating is perfect for a cool evening. The inside is full of inspirational quotes. If you haven't stopped by yet, you need to! While the prices may be a little higher than places in the area, it's worth it! Ordered Chicken Alfredo pizza which was burned black around the edges, and the chicken might as well have been dust because you could not see it, much less taste it! I am (was) a regular customer, and when I called and reported it to them, even sent a photo which showed tiny bits of something they claim was chicken, all they did was apologize. My mother and I were visiting for the weekend and stumbled upon Thursday steak night. We sat outside and the ambiance was fantastic. The service was friendly, prompt with just the right amount of attention. We both got ribeyes and each had a drink and the check was under $65 - incredible value. Everything was so good that we decided to eat dinner there the following night, too! We had the nachos which were a pile of chips topped with really tasty beef. My first thought was that they could use a little bit more toppings but they overall were satisfying and I would get them again. We also got a margarita pizza and it was really good. Thin crust with a flavorful sauce. Again the service was top-notch. I live an hour away but I am making the drive to bring my husband here for our anniversary which happens to be a Thursday steak night - I liked it that much! read more

This place is a very low key, relaxing environment. Very family friendly. Our service has really and and she was very helpful with helping us pick our food and wine out. The artichoke dip was very good, could have been served hot instead or Luke warm. The bread on the side wasn't the best. Was very soggy. The pizzas where good also. What a wonderful find in Chappell Hill! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were so nice and fun to talk to. There was a great selection of wine, full bar and good menu. We split the large pizza and it was delicious with super thin crust and excellent flavor. Upscale ambiance and pretty outdoor seating area for our next visit. Chicken Fried Chicken w/ cream gravy , mash potatoes and Brussel sprouts . All was excellent ! Like maybe one of the best I have ever had . Big impact in this small town. We stop in often as we are new to the area and we are always welcomed enthusiastically. Whether they remember us or not , we certainly feel like they do. Some of my fave menu items are Charcuterie, Signature Salad with and without a protein, burger and fries, pizza (we argue over toppings-they are all fresh) and Steak Night Thursday. Came here during a trip to Chappell Hill. We sat on the patio and opted for the fried chicken tenders, which was a huge portion (4) and super tasty. We then ordered the Italian sliders and a chicken salad sandwich, but it took over 30 min to arrive to the table. We were told that they had to make the chicken salad from scratch, but we had arrived very off peak around 3pm, so it was quite a long wait. Otherwise, the ambiance was quaint and charming, and the servers were nice. read more

We have been coming here for over a year and things just keep getting better. The staff is attentive, food is amazing and the atmosphere is amazing. They have bands Friday and Saturday nights with no cover charge. Most of the time the musicians are just what we like and it's a great place to Wine down. After thinking for a while what would be exciting to do on a Saturday afternoon in the Spring, we decided to take a drive to Chapel Hill and visit a few of the town's merchants. Well, it wasn't too hard to make a decision where we would stop first. We were somewhat thirsty and hungry so why not try The Grapevine. What a great country surprise. The young ladies behind the bar could not have been any more welcoming. We told them we were from Houston and out for a get-away from the Big City. So, we each ordered our favorite wine and proceeded to have conversation for about three hours with the lovely ladies and locals who had also wandered in. We never made it to any of the other quaint little stores, but vowed that we would for sure be back to this sweet little town. The time is about right to make that trip again, and just maybe still see some Bluebonnets and Indian Paint Brushes. read more

Immediately upon arrival we were treated like family. All the wait staff seemed to be happy and laughing; always a good sign. Staff happy I'm happy. Stephanie our server suggested the Red Schooner Malbec when we asked her for a red recommendation . We bought the bottle because she said we could take home the leftover wine. She said it was bottled by Caymus. Turns out she was right. Delicious red. My wife and I asked for menu suggestions. She steered us in the best way possible. She mentioned the spinach artichoke dip was made in house and was the grandmother' s recipe. Too die for! The dip was so good. The garlic bread was perfect. As were the freshly fried tortilla chips. I can tell I'm a expert at tortilla chips. Service was prompt. No waiting and looking for food. Per her suggestions we got one Janner pizza. OMG. The crust is like no other. The prosciutto with the balsamic sauce- WOW. Mind blowing. I ordered a small pizza for myself. She said they make the sausage in house. Okay- I took the bait. I got a Italian sausage, banana pepper and mushroom pizza- I wish the toppings had been more plentiful- but she was right. Again knocked out of the ballpark. The Italian sausage they make and put on the pizza is great. My wife and I both got salads as well. Stephanie said the raspberry walnut is her favorite. My wife listened I did not. I got the Caesar salad- it was good, but it seems like they use store bought croutons ? We couldn't stop there. We asked what her favorite dessert is and she said hands down try the homemade brownie with some blue Bell vanilla. She didn't know we are from Brenham. We know all about Blue Bell. The brownie was huge. It was decadent. We never had to ask for anything. On a hot day she kept our water glasses full and made our bellies super satisfied. If you get the chance to GrapeVine on Main- it's a locals place, but they treat everyone like family. We can't wait to go again! The place itself is cute. Every one seems to know everyone.
