Y'all definitely got a new customer. Now to continue to eat this pizza .

This is the slowest MOD pizza I've ever been too. Well, this location is in Brenham, Texas…read more Restaurant choices aren't exactly plentiful in these parts so anyone in the area should give this place some love. Wife and I left central Texas and headed east for a Thursday wedding. Looked for bites close to our hotel; swung in for food ahead of our check in time. Simple order at the counter process; make it your way! First, the staff (all 2 of them) produced the most glorious Caesar Salad. Tossed at our request it could have been served at the fanciest steakhouse in Texas. Might consider a pepper grinder behind the counter. Both of our pizzas were delicious. My modified Dominic kept the Alfredo Sauce, chopped Basil, Asiago, Sausage, and Red Onion. Added Roasted Garlic and Mushrooms and got rid of the Tomato slices. MOD is quick and basically blows away just about any national pizza chain in quality and product. Skip the HUT and Dominos and go here instead. Lunch was about $30 for two individual pies, salad, and drink. Well done folks!

After reading so many great reviews, I was excited to try this place, but unfortunately it fell…read morewell short of my expectations. The hostess was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a nostalgic type atmosphere. It was also extremely busy with a very large party, so I understand the staff was under pressure. Even so, service was quite slow from the time we were seated until we received our drinks and food. The biggest disappointment was the food. Our appetizer, Bread & Garlic Oil was chewy, and baked perfectly, but the "garlic oil" had almost no garlic flavor and didn't resemble olive oil at all. I'm betting it was vegetable oil or canola oil, which should be a sin in a pizza place! When I mentioned it, the solution was simply adding a clove of garlic to the bowl, which didn't improve it. How hard would it be to use REAL olive oil and infuse it with fresh roasted garlic! We also ordered a specialty pizza that was supposed to have roasted garlic, but it arrived without it. The pizza was remade after we pointed it out, and the second one was better, but it still seemed to be drizzled with the same flavorless oil. The crust also lacked the structure I'd expect from a good pizza, with every slice folding over when picked up. I can see why people enjoy the atmosphere, and perhaps a classic pepperoni pizza would be a better choice. The staff did make an effort to correct the mistakes, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, based on our experience, the food simply didn't live up to the reviews, and with so many great pizza places around, I don't see myself returning.

The new menu isn't so massive and the pizza is pretty good, previously very greasy. Breakfast menu could be better. Everything was a little overcooked. The service is terrible. Finally had to ask for syrup, ketchup, and coffee refills because no one ever came back by to check on us. It's like as soon as a new table walks in the door they forget about you. The poor owner is running around like crazy and cooking. I've seen at least 5 other people,I'm assuming work here, but aren't doing much. The interior is clean and well lit. My advice is train your staff to handle front of house because there is potential, but one guy can't do it all. I hope they get the logistics figured out or it won't be here long.

As much as I want all local businesses to succeed in my little town, I'm afraid this one will be like the last two restaurants at that location.
