The selection was great. Whites, reds, rosès and sparkling from near and far. We landed on a lovely Spanish red after sampling a few options. The ladies running the place were so knowledgeable and helpful. We had some nice conversations with other folks at the bar as well. Not surprising, as Brenham usually provides warm conversation whenever folks are out for a drink. There is also beer, sodas, and other beverages in the cooler. That 1st smell of a good cigar bar is awesome. It's way bigger than it appeared from the street. I wondered into one of the two walk in humidors as the wife headed to the bar for a glass of wine. I selected a few Rocky Patels and then got me a rum n coke. I passed on lighting a stick up as I knew we wouldn't be there that long. The shopkeeper came out with a sandwich board and told the people that they had to move down the sidewalk so that he could put out his signage. He was not conducting business during the parade. He was just out there, puffing on his cigar. Why couldn't he have waited until after the parade was over to put out his signage that advertised cheap cigarettes boxes?!

When we got there, we were seated and the manager greeted us. She was very informative about the history behind the wines and let us know that our servers would be with us soon. That never happened and the manager ended up just being our server the entire time but no communication about the reason was ever provided and I wish that she would've came over more frequently. Additionally, I started to notice people nearby eating different foods and realized my boyfriend and I were never provided a menu. We ordered a charcuterie board in advance time before arriving but I would've still liked to be notified that the winery offered small bites because we did taste test quite a few wines. We also had to wait for a private tour to be completed in order for us to do our public tour. I would've rather that the website have a time block so that we couldn't book for that time or just let us know in advance that we would have to wait a period of time for a private tour to be finished because we did have another activity booked for that day.
