That 1st smell of a good cigar bar is awesome. It's way bigger than it appeared from the street. I wondered into one of the two walk in humidors as the wife headed to the bar for a glass of wine. I selected a few Rocky Patels and then got me a rum n coke. I passed on lighting a stick up as I knew we wouldn't be there that long. The shopkeeper came out with a sandwich board and told the people that they had to move down the sidewalk so that he could put out his signage. He was not conducting business during the parade. He was just out there, puffing on his cigar. Why couldn't he have waited until after the parade was over to put out his signage that advertised cheap cigarettes boxes?!

There's patio seating as well as upstairs for wine club members. It's so calming to look out over the vineyards. We had an extra treat, when Chad the new winemaker gave us amazing insight on wine and the wine making process. He introduced us to "Symphony" a really nice slightly sweet with a little bubbly wine. Needless to say we bought a couple bottles home. Although there isn't an elevator yet, the staff brought out brunch downstairs. This was greatly appreciated! Additionally, new merchandise is in the way. Yay! Hopefully, I can shop next month when I return. This is such a fun getaway from the city.

We drove from Houston to visit local family in Brenham and this used to be where we meet but not anymore unfortunately all thanks to the newley appointed manager Riley. We sat at the bar and watched the Astros game, had 5 beers in about 5 hours and when my wife FINALLY asked for another beer she was denied...Riley had said that she would no longer serve us as she saw signs of intoxication... I'm not sure what she saw ...maybe the talking with other patrons or the feeding of the jukebox, whatever she think she saw we are still in shock to say the least... After we paid our bill we left and our Uncle stood up for us and was also asked to leave. He thought he had built up a repour over the months with the staff but it seems things have changed.
