This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had...it is Main Event. BUT STILL. We stood waiting to be seated for about 15 minutes despite there being no one else in line. No one acknowledged us or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. After waiting, my husband went to the bar to ask for help and was completely ignored! The bartender even made eye contact and still walked past him without saying anything. We were never asked if we wanted more 21+ drinks, the cups sat empty for most of the time on the table. We weren't even offered water after. On top of that, we were given incorrect information about portion sizes, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, our server didn't write anything down (which usually doesn't bother me) but both our orders came out wrong...The bartender/server was completely disengaged, had a noticeable attitude, and was even on FaceTime while working. At first it was great.We bought cards for my three kids and they played the games they where haveing a blast.But when my daughter wanted to go on the gravity obstacle course,they tild us we have ti wait until 6 so we did. Then we went back up to the desk to go order a ticket to get on the obstacle.But they told us to go back to the head desk.So we bought the ticket.Then we had to walk all the way back to the obstacle course.When we went to scan the ticket they told us we had to wait another hour.I was already upset and i told them we just had to walk back in fourth like 6 times. Extreme bowling! Yup... set up your players, add bumpers to individuals not the entire lane, even add photos... makes for fun bowling time! Now from paying for the lane with Braden to Cortez who took my families food and drink orders across 3 lanes and all the staff who delivered our food or grab a bowling ball stuck in the gutter... it was exceptional customer service! Even when it seemed slow in response or that a request might not have been heard as this one guy, Cortez was handling / assisting the needs of all bowlers down 7-8 lanes.. he heard us and our needs were met! Lanes are never ready for someone to bowl on. They either have so much oil on them that you get oil all over you or they are so dry that you can't bowl with any kind of curve. They raised their prices on wristbands from 15 to 33 dollars by adding on a bunch of stuff that no one wants to do anyway or is never open anyway. This place is kind of a scam. Decided to try Main Event for the very first time for my husband's birthday. Like any normal person, I go online first to see what they offer, what the menu has on it and see if there are any specials. I saw "happy hour" 9- close. Thinking this would be a good and affordable special to try, we set out. However, when we get there the young guy behind the register had no idea what I was talking about. They do not offer a happy hour and he could not tell me about any other specials when I asked. Hmmm...not a good sign. Website says one thing. Actual location says something else. Staff is not well informed to upsell. We get out of line and just purchased a game card from the kiosk. We decide to still try to make the best of it after that disappointing setback. The space is an okay size. There are pool tables, bowling, video games, an escape room and a gravity obstacle course. After looking around we decided to play games. Many games were broken and not working but no signage on the games. Several games were not maintained very well. I saw many loose screws and bolts on the floor near games. Hazard big time. After about an hour of playing games we had enough and just went home. Will we be back? Probably not. We came. We saw. We were not impressed. read more

I played several game stations that took swipes and game credits, but weren't operational. I had to go to the Winner's Choice office to have credits replaced THREE times. Once, after the clerk told me credits weren't used by a malfunctioning game when, in fact, they were. I even asked the guy to quote my credits to make sure they'd been replaced and he ignored me. These game cards aren't cheap. How about we make sure machines work? And better customer service when things inevitably do go wrong might help. Be better, Main Event. read more

A bunch of their arcade games were broken or you would swipe your card it would take your credits but give you the ball you would need or coin. This happened at a lot of the games. They do have good deals with the wrist band that gets you to all activities. read more

My family and I visited Thanksgiving Night to enjoy a family night of bowling fun. As soon as we walked to the counter, we were not greeted by Jacob. He rudely asked what we wanted and was very dismissive. We were then seated at the bowling lane in which our waitress Kevannah was also unfriendly and inconsiderate. We were not greeted and told that the kitchen closes at 10:40 pm. I asked her if she could come back in 10 minutes so that we could decide what we wanted but she advised that she didn't know if staff would be here even though she said she can't collect orders after 10:40. I went there with my friend from the military, we were asked for IDs so my friends showed his military ID, and the officer at the front door (heavy weight, bald, white dude) said he isn't accepting that and that my friend is looking for handouts just because he is in the military. Then I tried to show him a photo of my ID refused to accept it said I need a physical copy of my ID, so we drove 30 min away to get my ID go back up there and the officer said he already told me no and if I come back again he will arrest me. All for just trying to go bowling with my friend who is back from the military who I get to see 2 times a year now. 5 of our family went to Main Event for bowling. We had a good time there. We played for 2 hours and payed a little over $100. I felt this was pretty pricey, but I have not bowled in years. The shoes were in good condition and they offered socks if you didn't have any. We had food there too. The waitress came to our lane, which was nice. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries, my daughter had loaded cheese fries, her boyfriend had artichoke dip and I had the pretzels with cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was not as good as some I've had but the pretzels were good with mustard on them. The artichoke did was excellent and loaded fries were tasty. My husband thought his cheese burger was good too. The girls played some arcade games afterward. If it was somewhat cheaper we would come more often. read more

Then another pit stop for her on the other side of the center, still no drinks. Started walking to bar to get refills to her coming back with 3/4 fountain drinks and her saying are we ready for boxes. To which I said "no, we just got the rest of our food". Came back with last refill. And had to go to the bar area for check and boxes. Mentioned it was not great service, would have ordered more if she would have been more attentive. She then walked up to the bar confrontationally and said in a loud voice "I did ask if you needed anything, and boxes but you said no" and she stomped away. She took boxes to our lane as I was at the bar getting some. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Being in the service industry myself that is not the correct behavior for any server. So many things going on at this event center! Food is great! The restaurant nice dining area is far enough away from the activity, so that it's not as intense while you enjoy your meal. There's also food service in the bowling portion. Games and activities are fun. It's very loud and intense whenever you are in the portion that has them. The prize area is, as expected, filled with really cheap, inexpensive things for reasonably obtained points, and nice things for a years' worth of weekly visits. Obtaining services is very easy. Tall ceilings. Nice restrooms. We have also had a birthday party here. It was a wonderful experience. Great service, they took care of cutting and serving the cake we provided. We were invited to a birthday party for a 7 year old. The space is nice. Our child is 4 so I would not recommend it for that age group. Many of the games were not for her age group the older kids seemed to really enjoy themselves. I do not know how the party packages work but the time at the party table was very rushed when there was no other party behind us. We had to move to another spot in the building where as since they didn't need the space why weren't we allowed to just remain there? The bowling area seems very nice, we didn't get to use it yet it was a nice area. I do believe it is a place geared more towards older kids and adults like 10 and up. We came on a Saturday afternoon spur of the moment. The food situation was kind-of a mess. I ordered nachos, which came without Pico or sour cream. They were also meant to have geou d beef but had a charred mystery meat instead. I asked 2 different people on 3 different ocassions for those items but they never came. My son ordered a fancy mock tail and they brought it 10m after everyone's drinks, bringing the wrong one first. They offered no tableware or napkins with our food. The servings of fries are very small. Frustrating and expensive experience! Both inside and outside the food area, staff are uncommunicative, making it difficult to have a good time if you aren't familiar with the experience. I've been here two times with friends. The first time we went bowling and played pool. Our personal server to our lane was very helpful and friendly. We ordered a bucket of beer nachos and an appetizer sampler. As you can see from the pictures the nachos came out with very little toppings so it was mostly chips, I complained and they redid the order as it should have been. The appetizer had ribs but most of them were just bones, so we sent those back and they redid them. The manager was very helpful and apologetic. It was OK..... We walked in and wanted to eat before we decided to game. We were told to sit anywhere and we had to order using the kiosk instead of getting a waitress for our table. Ummm.... what if we had questions? Not to thrilled about this. We went up to the main counter to purchase our game cards and they didn't split the credits correctly so all of our credits ended up on one card instead of between 3 cards. So we had to go back and wait in line a 2nd time. All their games are between 1.25 and 4.50 to play. Expensive. We didn't find any games at 1.25 that were worth playing so most of the popular ones were very expensive so your credits went really fast. The redemption room was horrible. It's cheap Dollar Store products. Even the big stuff that you have to save for is horrible. I would recommend Dave & Busters. This location has plenty of parking and is usually less crowded during the week. They offer specials periodically on games as well as drinks. Upon entering you'll see the seating area for dinners and the billiards. They also have a bar with multiple big screens to catch sports. The lanes for bowling are on the back half of the building. High above, the gravity walk id available for those that arent scared of heights and like a challenge. In addition to that, ghere is a laser tag area which can be competitive and fun. The games themselves range from ski ball,arcade,air hockey and everything else in between. On this trip I just played games for a solid hour. Anything beyond that can be a lot. The noise factor is loud not including kids and adults walking and some even running around. Didnt try the food this go around but previous trips did not disappoint. Not a big selection of games, but one of the biggest in this area. It's expensive, and for the money you think they could add some sound control measure. I couldn't even hear the game instruction for the game I was playing. Sad thing is there weren't that many people. Their games were all loud enough to cause way too much noise. I think the games room on the square would have been a better choice. Started at 2 stars. I had to drop it to 1 star. I found my teenagers wondering around after a short time. We decided pool might be a good idea. No signage anywhere, but learned you get balls or something from the bar. Turns out it didn't matter all we did was walk by the three tables that were not being used and had someone from a booth yell across that "those are ours". Not sure how that one person was using three tables, or why they are allowed to just hold them with nobody playing. That was the final straw. Gave the rest of our cards to someone with kids and left. It's not letting me access my photos, but I'll try to add it. I have one of two girls behind the counter laughing and having fun while one guy tries to handle the 11 people in line. I've been wanting to visit Main Event since I was a kid, and finally the two of my friends and myself visited here two weeks ago, and to my dismay it wasn't what I thought it was gonna be it wasn't terrible. I just feel that the place could use improvements in staffing and improvements in just the video games in general. Some of the video games did not work once you swiped your game/credits card and other games were partially broken. The bathrooms definitely could've use some cleaning just kind of seemed like no one cared which was pretty bad just because it's a family friendly environment. The bar staff was pretty uninterested in serving us. Other than the improvements that I feel should be made to this particular location I still enjoyed myself, and I would say I could recommend Main event for a Friday or Saturday night out with the family or friends if you have nothing else better to do. read more

This trip we had an issue. We bought an "all you can bowl" for 5$ a person. Turns out there is a fine print. You only bowl for an hour and then go on a waiting list. You need to dedicate a few hours if you are going to get your money's worth. We spent 108$ for 4 people to bowl 2 hours. Not worth it tonight. :( we'll go back to striker's next time. Holy smokes, we came from Colorado just to escape town for awhile and man the people at the desk are so rude and unhelpful. Both people have terrible attitudes. Our bowling lane was broke and we asked for help and the guy made it seem like we destroyed his whole day having to come help us for 2 minutes. We looked up fun places to go, and saw this next to our hotel and thought why not.
