I have 2 special needs kids. We went last year and they gave us a hard time about using there ramps but adventually let us use one. We went yesterday and they told me they haven't had ramps there in 15 years. I showed them a picture of my daughter using one last year but they still said they didn't have any. read more

Went here for the first time with a big group of friends/famiily for a fundraiser and it was fun. The bowling alley is tuck away from the main street and it's easy to find. Parking isn't so bad. The food is reasonable and affordable price and it's not really anything wow. Just a basic hotdog, nachos, huge sodas and other finger foods. Bowling was fun especially when you're in competition with your peeps. We got some really good players and it's good to see people just enjoy a good game. Definitely family fun here. read more

Fun, family friendly, nostalgic, no frills bowling alley in Lees Summit Missouri tucked away off the highway by an amazing Apothecary shop. If you happen to find the Groupon floating around I would buy it! We had an enjoyable time bowling on a Friday afternoon (after league was over) and the Groupon worked great. Also, we shared the popcorn and each sipped on a soda fountain drink which also were included with the deal. Right off the bat I was impressed with the amount of caffeine free and a non soda option for people like me, odd balls who don't partake in caffeine and aren't fond of carbonation. The popcorn was just traditional popcorn machine popcorn, nothing special but, also a good salty snack to munch on in between rounds (just make sure to bring your hand sanitizer) for some reason it gave me memories of middle school, one of my teachers used to have a popcorn machine in her room and needless to say she was to cool teacher! Anyways, I digress but bowling really does bring back the memories and this bowling alley does a good job of staying in the past and not letting modern relics dictate its vibe. I reserved lanes prior to coming in that day. When I got there all I had to do was give the name on the reservation and our lanes were waiting for us! There was no issues with the bowling alley itself. Lots and lots of kids, but it was 7pm on a Saturday. They do have a kitchen and a little bar. This place is lots of fun for the family! Clean and brighter than most other bowling alley places, we have come a few times and have always had a good time. Plenty of summer kids bowl free patrons and still lots of light kid bowling balls available, lots of tables and during times we saw problems, the staff responded relatively quickly. I was impressed with the cream cheese poppers - naughty snack fried perfectly! I will have to try other snacks here next time. And side note, I am glad for the food tray for our snack... Too many folks put their regular shoes on the table which grosses me out. read more

This was the worst bowling and customer service experience. If your lane malfunctions, they won't reimburse or add extra time to your game. Instead, they will blame you, the customer, for their faulty machines stating that too many balls were thrown. We had 7 balls between each lane (2 lanes), so 3 on one, 4 on the other. The balls got stuck. It took them 25 minutes to fix it and we paid for an hour of play time. My sister-in-law, who is the kindest, most non confrontational person on the planet asked the older gentleman at the front to add time to our game. He proceeded to blame us saying that we threw 11 balls down which was absolutely false. He refused to add extra time, so we decide to play the last 10 minutes of our game being very careful to wait for our ball to come back each time. After 5 minutes, the machine glitched again. I told the same gentleman, and he continued to blame us and threatened to call the police after I told him that I would leave a negative review on every SM platform. THATS the kind of service you get at this place. I will pay 3x the price and go to Main Event to bowl. We will never be patrons of this place again. Shame on you! read more

We made a reservation for a lane. We showed up and were told they don't take same day reservations, even though on the phone they said they had us down. We were put on the waiting list. Then after an hour of waiting we were told only one lane may become available within the next twenty minutes. Long story short. We didn't get to bowl and we've got some disappointed kiddos. Oh and people are walking around unmasked all over the place. read more

We were here not too long ago and I was quite surprised at how clean and kept together the place was. There were lots of families with young children bowling. The prices were excellent and the staff very nice and easy going. They have a bar as well as a snack area but we didn't use either so I can't speak on quality or prices but I did notice the selection at both looked pretty big. Casual bowlers using house equipment might have a good time, but if your a serious bowler who has good gear...don't waste your time and money. The lane conditions are always bone dry and the approaches are sticky. I ruined a 150 dollar pair of shoes when I stepped on some candy on the approach at this house. When I complained the guy at the counter just gave me a shrug. I think he was drunk. The front end employees are nice, but they don't clean the seating areas or approaches unless you ask them. Those areas are usually dirty and as I said I ruined an expensive pair of shoes at this house. The bathrooms are actually cleaner than the approaches and seating area. Their maintenance people are lazy and just by looking at the wires hanging out of the ball returns you can see they don't have any qualified (motivated?) mechanical personnel. A friend told me that their leagues don't get much oil either, so he always brings 4 balls because he never knows what the lane conditions will be on his league night. The mechanical people are awful. The chairs are out of level and hurt your back. The pinsetters have lots of glitches and frame loss due to malfunctions should be expected. Lanes are always dry, and if you are a good bowler the open bowling is just punishing due to the lack of oil. Summit Lanes was nice 15 years ago but it has gone way down hill. I guess they don't put much effort into the business anymore because so many bowling houses have closed and they have less competition. read more

Summit Lanes went above and beyond to help make our baseball teams end of year celebration a big success. We called with only a few hours advanced notice after bad weather cancelled our outside event. They were so helpful in getting us lanes and making sure we were well taken care of. Last Night I called ahead and to ask for prices. I have been to Summit lanes before and enjoyed the atmosphere, as well as the prices. They are very reasonable. I told them that I was on my way and I wanted to make sure that they had lanes available. So, I drove from independence, with 2 kids who were so excited about bowling that they were not quiet the entire time. It was one of their birthdays, and we were celebrating. We go in, Go up to the counter and say that we would like to play 2 games for 4 people. Keep in mind that it isn't very far from independence, or I guess that I should say time wise, we were not far. The girl at the counter asks another employee to come help her. Because you know she couldn't just answer on her own. Anyway so a guy comes up and says that we would only have until 5:30 to bowl. I believe it was 5:10, because they were going to be full for leagues. Seriously? So i said "I called and drove all the way here with two excited kids from independence, just to go bowling at your bowling alley." They said "Sorry" in the most unapologetic shitty way. So Angry. I will never give this business another dime. I will tell friends and family to stay away from this place. They could have said "Hey, we've got leagues tonight so don't come in." But instead I wasted Time, and Gas to be so very upset. read more
