Went for Mother's Day, It was free for the mothers! Which was very nice. We were actually on the wheel much longer than we expected lol. We enjoyed our time! I think we went around 6x! After, we went and did the 15 holes of mini put! There's a QR code where you can track your puts and Talley them up at the end! Beautiful day, great time! Highly recommended for families!

We had a great time on a weeknight. There were just a few other groups so we didn't have to wait long for the next mini golf hole or to ride the Wheel. The staff was polite and we checked in quickly. Everything was clean and well maintained. Next time we'll grab a drink or a snack and enjoy the patio.

Fun for all ages! The ferris wheel is a great view of the city, especially on a clear day. We could see trains coming and going from several directions while at the top. The cabins are spacious and have music, ac, and light controls. Very bougie. The ride is about 10-15 mins and there is a panic button should you decide you need to escape!

Even though the only picture I got was blurry and outside the wheel, the ride on the Ferris wheel was great after I got over my fear of swinging at the top! Only reason it wasn't a 10/10 was because the ventilation wasn't rhe greatest. It got foggy as hell, we couldn't see much.

So, we decided to finally check out the KC Wheel on a day date we had in downtown Kansas City. And it ended up being exactly what I thought it would be, which is a tourist attraction that the vast majority of locals will probably never try it out. The only reason we really did was because we were in the area and were looking to kill some time. But we'd likely never go again. There isn't really anything else to do there other than ride the ferris wheel, and it's far enough from downtown that you don't really get a good view of anything. Even the employees seemed like they didn't want to be there. So, not really an enjoyable experience that we'll be returning to in the future. You can see more of our experience on our YouTube travel channel: https://youtu.be/dzwtGef0FhI

Amazing date night , girls night place. We tried the drinks and dessert ( funnel cake sticks) . They had mini golf that's fun for all ages. Staff were easy to talk to and give suggestions, but the best thing was the ferris wheel. It doesn't move to fast to you are able to capture breath taking photos and views of downtown Kansas. Even in the hot summer months it has air conditioning and fun music to listen to. It's very spacious on in the inside.

I came alone but didn't feel alone . It was a great time! The staff were nice and pleasant. The ride was smooth . I like how you ride at least 3 times around . It was a good night.

I loved the ride on the wheel, and was SO happy it was longer than expected! The temperature-controlled cars are comfortable, and provide a steady, non-jiggly ride. It was also easier to get there than expected, and there was free parking on site, even though we went on a Saturday night. It's important to know in advance that it is a NO CASH ZONE! Other than views of the infamous hair curlers, the Liberty Memorial, Union Station, Kauffman, the big lit up TV antenna tower, and other skyline attractions, there was lots of traffic, an accident, and emergency vehicles on I-35 N to add a little excitement, as seems to be the usual every night now. Every employee/staff member we encountered was laid-back, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately very little of the pricey food on their menu was available, and some drinks were sold out. You CAN take food and beverage purchased there on the ride, but NO outside food or beverages are allowed. The public restroom was out of order so we were escorted to the staff restroom. Be sure to follow the process online if purchasing your ticket ahead, and take a screenshot of your confirmed order to show when you arrive. I enjoyed it and would go again!

I love a wheel experience in any city and this is cute and fun for friends coming into town. Grab some bubbly in a bubble and play a round of KC putt-putt before!

So much fun! The wheel ride was longer than I expected. The drinks were delicious. The staff was super helpful. We had 6 adults in the wheel and it was a very comfortable ride. We wanted to hit the red emergency button, just because, but refrained because we are adults. From the highway the wheel looked smaller than I expected but the views were awesome! Everything was very clean.

It was a nice turn of a view seeing what I've seen from many other viewpoints.. the KC skyline. I wouldn't do it again unless there was some lightning across the downtown never seen before but so many professional pictures capture those landscapes nowadays. I can say I experienced it. It'll be interesting to see what else is developed in the little spot by the freeway. Parking seemed limited. The wheel itself rocks with each rotation. Not sure if you're able to partake in a drink before or during as we arrived a little before closing but that would probably enhance the experience I'm sure! There's a queue for about 10-15 mins. With other cities having the same attraction with much more height than 150 ft and scope of view this was just ok!

    Justine A.

Such a fun experience! You get wonderful views of the skyline with good drinks! It's a perfect date night place especially if you like some mini golf. Easily could spend a couple of hours there.

June 2026- DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE HANDICAPPED and want to ride coasters…read more So here is my June 2026 review...and I can't wait to update this in a few years. This park has a lot of potential. I can't wait to see what the Enchanted people do to/for it. There were a lot of rides down, like a lot a lot. Someone in the parking lot warned us as they were coming out and we were going in that "more than half the park is closed" and he wasn't wrong, but not being locals these were the two days on our road trip that we could come to this park. A bunch were down for the two days we were there with nothing to indicate they were going to open...Others had opened and closed a few times over the two days. There are walking paths that would have made life on this forty-something year old easier that were blocked off for the train tracks. (I imagine on years when they were better staffed they had someone at these spots to open and close the gates as needed for the train.) These spots would have saved a good amount of time, and some energy. It frustrating to see where you need to get to, but you have to walk pretty far out of the way...and in at least on spot down a steep hill and back up it so you go under the train to get there. The few restrooms I went in seemed clean enough...pretty good actually for an amusement park. The staff I encountered seemed nice enough....but should realize that if someone is getting an ADA pass because they don't get along with stairs, maybe let those people know it's going to be a rough day and elevators may as well not exist in this park. Really, there should be staff at the ride entrances for all of the rides. They should be able to tell you where the ada entrance to the ride is located. (The entrance to the ada isn't always obvious. It's often the exit to the ride, but if you've never done a ride before then you don't know where you're going to come out.) If there was a staff member at the entrance to each ride they could let you know that either the elevator doesn't work, or that you need staff to help you with the elevators? I'm not even sure if all of the elevators needed staff/ a key to operate, or if every one was just broken, but since you couldn't find an employee outside of the stations there was no one to ask, so either you're not riding or stuck figuring out the stairs. (Thank god for my husband and his patience) Long story short, they need to get their act together concerning ada/ride accessibility. They need to staff the park better.

Proceeded to ride Zambezi Zinger and Viking Voyager with fast pass. Got into the FP line for Mamba. Proceeded to watch the employee let everyone in the non fast lane in before us. Comes over to tell us we have the wrong color wristband on. I explain this is what we were given and we have already ridden rides with it. They say supervisor will not allow us to ride, we have to get new updated bands. Trek back to the photo booth at the end of Mamba to get new bands, trek back up. This was one of the better rides in the park and a favorite from when I was a kid. Rides we rode and thoughts: 1. Cyclone Sam's- no fast pass but can hold a lot of people. Appreciated the a/c 2. Flying dutchman. Only rode since there was no line and appreciated the breeze 3. Fury of the Nile-was closed at the beginning of the day, opened. Appreciated it had fast pass. Please get the poor employees who work down there some shade. I felt so sorry for them. 4. Le Taxi Tour-says on their website has fast pass. it does not. Can take a while since families will have 10 different cars so every person in the family can "drive" 5. Mamba-see above 6. Patriot-had fast pass. Best ride there 7. Prowler-had fast pass. Pretty rough 8. Spinning dragons- has fast pass but you have to buy it? Band you buy for the day does not include it. LAME 9. Timberwolf - on their website says it is on fast pass but they do not have fast pass. ride closed while we were in line. Sad as this ride was around from when I was a kid and I wanted my kid to ride it. 10. Viking Voyager-had FP, used it, didn't need it. Was different than I remember it as a kid. Didn't get wet. 11. Zambezi Zinger-different than when I was kid. It was a good ride. Rides that were closed: 1. Skyliner- this is a ferris wheel 2. Steel Hawk-swings 3. Zulu-closed, one of my favorite rides when I was younger. 4. Scrambler-why is this on Fast pass? it was closed 5. Sea Dragon Rides we skipped cause we like the thrill rides: 1. Autobahn 2. Bamboozler- I wanted to ride for memories, kidlet said no, too similar to ride where we live 3. Detonator-it is so small. Like why is the tower so tall but the ride only goes up a small height? Ride similar to this where I live is 100 feet taller 4. Fjord Fairlane 5. Mustang Runner-on FP 6. Nordic Chaser Kidlet tried to get an icee but it took over 30 minutes because people kept cutting them in line. Found another icee place and got an icee. Kidlet said person working there was basically giving them to everyone for free. Did not eat at this park. Had up close parking and when I told the person they sent me to the same lot everyone else is parking in. Was sad that a place that held such fond memories from when I was a kid, was so unpleasant to visit as an adult. I don't live any where near here so will not be returning.

WARNING: Do NOT waste your money here -- this business is a total scam!…read more I bought Groupon vouchers last winter for a specific family outing, only to discover later that the business was completely unresponsive. No one answered the phone, their website showed no available dates, and out of frustration I even drove an hour to their location--only to find nothing happening. A month later, I received an email stating they were "closed for the winter." Nowhere -- not on the Groupon listing, their website, or their voicemail -- did they mention being seasonal. When I tried to use my vouchers later, they refused to honor them. Even worse, the operators openly admitted that they continue to sell Groupon vouchers during the winter to "boost sales," fully knowing they're closed and that customers can't use them. That's deceptive and unethical. Bottom line: This company hides behind Groupon to take your money and then refuses to stand behind their product. Avoid them entirely -- don't fall into the same trap I did!

I showed my ID for Shawnee residence proof and then paid. I got one life jacket for one child. We got there around 11 AM and I believe they open at 10:30 AM. Unfortunately, all of the chairs that had umbrellas were taken by that time. The only reason I give it a four star is because they don't have enough chairs or umbrellas. Everything was clean and in good working order and they had a nice set up for the smaller kids. This pool is primarily for kids 12 and under or maybe even 10 and under. I did have a 12-year-old with me and she prefers the other Shawnee pool which is for older kids, but she still had fun. The lifeguards were excellent. They were always on point watching the small children and never strayed from that. They were actually much better than the larger pool and Shawnee that I went to several weeks ago. The only thing I didn't quite understand was that there was an area roped off for "swimming lessons" but I think it was really parents trying to teach their kids to swim, not any professional instructor. I was bringing my two year-old grandson into that pole and the life guard told me I couldn't do it because it was swimming lessons and it ends at 12:30. So maybe it was because he did not have a floaty on and I was holding him and that's why he didn't allow it because like I said it was just parents teaching their kids. So we just got out and enjoy the rest of the other area. In the future, I would go more around 2 PM or 3 PM. I do believe this pool closes at 6 PM which is about two hours earlier than the main pool. I didn't take photos because there were kids in every area and I don't feel comfortable taking photos of children that are in their bathing suits. So the only photo I've included is one of my grandchildren on a chair taking a break.

The bathroom was decent, there was no soap, there was an empty hand sanitizer bottle in there. For a person like myself who is big on cleanliness the bathroom would be 4/10 as I can only think about how many people got back in the pool after not being able to wash their hands after using the bathroom. Also, seating was limited. There were lots of people just using chairs to store their items while in the water. So for people who had babies that needed to sit and feed them etc that was limited. Having lockers for families that just need to put their items away would help with seating. Some people say in the little grad area with towels Overall very fun place !

The most boring haunted attraction I've ever attended, the house also seemed severely under staffed and is definitely NOT worth your cost of admission. Don't waste your time with this one!

There is a reason this attraction costs less than the others... it's more of a dark maze than a…read morehaunted house. Not really scary at all. Not very many ghouls roaming around. A good beginner's house, is how I'd describe it. It's fact, that the original owner of "Poe's Chambers" died in the elevator shaft while doing general maintenance on it. It's also fact, that the coffins used in the "coffin room" are real, once-had-someone-buried-in-them, coffins. They should really capitalize on those two facts to enhance the creepiness of this haunted attraction. They do not even mention it, to my knowledge. Furthermore, something that could be done to enhance the scare factor, is to explain the Poe stories a bit better. Develop the plot. Signs on the wall, a running commentary. A pamphlet they hand out to people in line... I realize the point is to move people through, but there has to be a way to tell the stories better. Maybe a recommendation on the website to read Poe's stories. I haven't read anything by Poe since high school, some 15 year ago. The props in the rooms, although well done, were lacking in any explanation and would have held more "punch" if there had been some instilled fear behind them. Some understanding. I heard people in line talking about the Tell-Tale Heart - they didn't even know the name of the story or any of the details, except something about being buried alive. And, without knowing that, or understanding what you're experiencing afterward in the house - what is there to really be scared of? It's just a maze with some eerie scenes thrown in, a lot of flashing lights and some obstacles to crawl through, but definitely lacking in the spook factor. So, if it's your first time ever experiencing a haunted house, read some Poe stories and then go. Enjoy this and build up to the real thing, a few blocks down and around the corner. If you've already been to the "granddaddy of them all", do not waste your money here. You'll be unimpressed, I fear.

Did that and stopped at the booth/hut. Staff stared at me until I rolled down my window to let them know I had up close parking. Was waved to a little lot super close to the booth that was farther away than the regular parking. It was nice for getting out but people who parked in the regular lot were closer and got to the front faster than we did. Getting into park. We were standing at the Fast Lane desk, waiting for the park to open. Divided and conquered to send one person in to ask about them, person inside said they would do fast passes. Got out of line, went inside they said "No I am coming outside." Got fast pass and headed for the Riptide Raceway. Fast pass not needed as there was no line. Lifeguard at the top was so nice. Giving us tips, was nice when my kid let go of the mat and they had to call for a lifeguard to go down the slide to get it out. This ride uses a foam mat with plastic handles in the front. Rode Aruba Tuba. It drops you off into Coconut Cove which is the kiddie pool (3 feet deep everywhere except where the ride drops you off) this pool was closed as they were doing lifeguard drills. Staff was pretty rude about not allowing you in the pool. Seems they should have finished with training/drills prior to open but what do I know. This ride has 2 person tube or single tube. Typhoon was closed. Sad as it was my favorite ride when I was a kid and I wanted my kid to experience it. Used fast pass for Hurricane falls. We were the only ones in fast pass lane and we got on super quick. Ride was meh. One at Hurricane Harbor in STL was more fun. This ride needs multiple people working it. The poor lifeguard had to walk out of the pool, grab the raft from the lift, bring it to the pool, hold it steady, load passengers, help them push off, then repeat. Ride operations would have been improved by 2 lifeguards. Did all 3 slides on Shark's revenge. The purple one is completely enclosed, dark and has glowy lights. These are tube rides where you can ride a 2 person tube or a single tube. I rode 1 of 3 of Predator's plunge. Red was closed and I rode orange. Allegedly yellow is "slower." These are the slides where you stand on a ledge, they close the plexiglass cover (like a coffin) there is a robotic countdown then you are dropped down. This is a body slide vs using a tube or raft. Kidlet spent lots of time in the wave pool and checked out Captain Kidd's even though some of the slides on there were closed. We skipped: Caribbean Cooler, Crocodile Island, Flamingo Beach club (21+) and splash island. Did not purchase food or snacks. Tried to use our Icee plan. Staff refused to help us. Said we had to go to guest services. Guest services stated staff lied and they can help us and to go back, tell them or look for a supervisor. I chose to go to a different area to get an icee and had no issues. We had 2 icees while there. Pina colada for me and cherry for kidlet. The lockers here were much better (they could be kept open until you were ready to close it) although the locker we had was located in a row with a huge puddle. I was surprised they did not send someone over to sweep/squeegee the water away. They had one water bottle refilling station on the men's restroom but it did not work. The person at the icee hut let me fill my water bottle there. We made it longer at this park than HHSTL (5 hours vs 2). It was fun to revisit a park from my youth and take my kid. If in the area again I would go back, even though this park will no longer be on my Six flags pass as they were purchased and are under the management of Enchanted parks now. Lots of room for improvement with guest interactions but was an enjoyable day.

Arcades with dance machines is what attracted me to Power Play. Being that it was my first time…read morehere, I checked in with the front desk clerk. She was friendly nice and informative providing me with the details on how to enjoy this venue. Directing me to the various payment options she informed me about a $15 four hour special that I immediately took advantage of. Thank you for having that special. I had a real blast because of that. There was an awesome pinball area with many fun and interesting pinball machines. Pinball machines are super fun. I want to be clear that I loved spending four hours enjoying this arcade. Some of the machines seemed to be under disrepair. While I was there, other people seemed to be enjoying their time with their families. Even with machines not in the best condition I found ways to enjoy myself. When I found a game that wasn't working as intended, I enjoyed looking for what was different about it, then looking for a different way to enjoy the experience. Understanding and being patient with people is important to me. This business is ran by people. I understand that people want to do good and try their best. I know people need the care and attention so they can know what is good and right. Another way I was able to enjoy my visit despite the state of machines is to look for more than one perspective. First perspective for the broken machines is that the staff doesn't care about fixing anything. I refuse to stop there so I look for another perspective. Second perspective is I noticed a help wanted sign in the window while walking in. Also much of the staff seem young (COVID generation) so maybe they don't know what to do. Maybe there's no one skilled/trained enough to repair the machines and the staff is doing the best they can with the knowledge they have. Thank you Power Play for allow me to visit your business. 0:-)

Arrived on Saturday at 11:15 and the doors were locked. An employee came and immediately opened…read morethem when she saw us. According to the sign they open at 11 but apparently someone forgot to unlock the doors. We bought a package that included gameplay cards plus pizza and drinks. Since we were the first ones there, there was no one in the place for a good half hour. Some of the rides and attractions were not open however we found after looking at all the games plenty to do. After about an hour the kitchen opened and we were able to order our pizza. While we waited the 30 minutes for it we played a few games. One entire soda machine was out of service and it was the one with the diet soda options. The tables were dirty as well as the floor, which was surprising since it had just opened. Employees were either on their phones or chatting with other employees A few of the machines did not function properly, but when I told the girl at the front desk, she credited me back. The building appears to be aging and not well maintained. We left after two hours.
