The Puttery completely blew me away!! This place had been on my list to try out for a long time and I wish I'd gone sooner. It's located in a cool area in the middle of the plaza right underneath Chiefs Fit gym. As soon as you enter you get a feel for the great ambiance and fun variety of music. We came in during a cold snowy day and took full advantage of the FREE coat check at the front desk. On the first floor there's a mini golf course as well as a full bar and seating area. Once you go downstairs though, you'll see just how massive the place is. Theres TONS of seating and cool little nooks to hangout in which make it great for a date night or corporate events. Once you get into the mini golf there's some great courses to check out. Each one has a different theme and they make it super simple to track your points. Simply enter the names of all your players on the touch screen at the first hole, then enter the number of strokes afterwards. After that it will follow you throughout the course until you're finished and tell you who wins at the end! There's also a place to sit your drinks at the start of each hole with a menu of course specific cocktails that I highly recommend trying. Every part of this place is perfect to take pictures and have a great time. But in my opinion, the true highlight of the Puttery is the food. I had the pleasure of meeting the head chef while here and he truly puts his heart into the menu. Our server Mariah was also super helpful giving us drink and food recommendations throughout our time here. Everything sounded amazing but I had to go with the Cajun Chicken Philly since I'm a sucker for a Philly sandwich. It was one of my favorite sandwiches I've ever had. From the soft delicious bread to the unbelievably juicy and tender chicken, this was such a great dish. The combination of ingredients and the plating itself made it clear that nothing comes as an afterthought here. I also tried the loaded fries which were a great recent addition to the menu. Last, we finished it off by trying the Tiramisu, Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and the Bourbon Bread Pudding. Each one was really amazing but my favorite was the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and I'm not even a huge cheesecake fan! I definitely plan to come back here just for the food because it was so delicious!! And on top of that, they recently started a meal prep service which I plan to take full advantage of! Overall you can tell that every detail is thought through at the Puttery. It truly feels like a luxury experience with an element of fun to round it out. This is such a fun putt putt spot! It's very upscale so if you're not up for mini-golf you can enjoy an enchanting dining experience or have a drink at the bar. We did all of that and took quite a bit of snapshots along the way. First stop in at front to indicate the experience you want to have. Maleah handled our check-in and they offer a coat check as well. There are 3 courses: First floor, Art Museum; Basement level has Conservatory and Rooftop courses. All have unique displays curated with 9-holes to take on. You can enjoy drinks while you goto each hole which makes for more enjoyment! I'm not going to lie; it was very challenging and extremely fun! We hit all 3 courses. As far as playing mini-golf and attempting to do well, I'd say I like the Conservatory course. We pretty much were there until closing. There was also food & drinks a part of our visit. We sat at the bar where Madi served up 3 great drinks and we go to try the Spinach Artichoke dip. She made us Espresso martini and then a Pumkin flavored martini, both tasted exactly as expected with a bit a Baileys for added flavor. read more

This is a great spot for a night out! There are two courses on the lower level and one on the first floor. Each theme was really different and interesting to look at while waiting for others to play. You can bring drinks into the courses which is a huge plus! Each course also had their own unique drinks you could order. Once you register at the start, it automatically moved you on when everyone in your party went. This made it super easy to navigate through the course! It could get really busy so we ended up having to wait while each party was putting before us. Each 9-hole course took more than 45 minutes to get through because of it. Otherwise, drinks, vibes and good company made this place a great place to hang out! read more

Two stories, 3 bars and 3 courses. We enjoyed taking a break for a drink and trying the different courses without a rush. This place is much more a bar than mini-golf. The drinking and eating areas are significantly larger than the 3 small mini-golf courses. We came only for the mini-golf and it was just an okay experience. There's a lot better options for mini-golf if that's what you're going for. read more

Had an amazing time with my wife's family here yesterday! We went mid afternoon on a Saturday. It wasn't busy and for 9 people it was smooth overall with getting in and out! The drinks tasted good, but be prepared to spend if you don't get a quirk or other bottled beverages. Super awesome how they use each level of space for a different personality in each course. We got a coupon from our hotel and went around 8 PM which was perfect timing because they have happy hour from 8 to close. We played unlimited golf for just $10, plus got awesome drink specials. Each room has a different theme and the virtual score screens made it super easy to keep track of the score. They even encourage you to grab drinks and bring them along as you play. The staff, especially the bartenders were amazing. They were super friendly and gave great recommendations. I even got a free birthday drink! We went over her holiday season pretty early with 3 boys. There are three 9 hole courses. We started in the lower level and it was pretty empty so we moved through the courses about 30 min each. I love that the "card" follows you and its electronic scoring. My kids enjoyed it and the only thing I can say is that if it's busy you are waiting and it's very tight and can get bottled necked. I don't know that we would go back but we had a great time. We didn't check out the menu and each adult had one drink. Drinks look pricey as expected for the area. I LOVED THIS PLACE! I wish I could give it 10000 stars! It was simply amazing! Lets unpack my videos. This place was beyond spacious so bring your crew! It was super clean, neat and such a vibe. They have 3 courses and each course has waitresses to bring you drinks. The courses aren't challenging, but they are nice and very detailed. We came on a good night. It was not too busy, so we got to mill around the courses and take our time. We bought the unlimited package and trust me, it is so worth it. They do have photo ops on every course, so take advantage as we did lol. If you shoot content like me, this is a great place to get some nice shots. The food was AMAZING! The drinks were also as equally good. If we are talking service, this place is takes the CAKE! Our waitress name was Erica and she was amazing. We also met the service manager Jake and he was absolutely amazing. He was super kind, he gave us a backstory and he checked up on us throughout the night. The bartenders were great and also the front desk operator as well. I will come back here because of all that I spoke on above. I recommend this place a hundred percent. TLDR: very fun date night experience. Has everything you need for a fun date (food, drinks, activity) BUT everything is EXPENSIVE. Overall everything was great. I have a few nitpicky thoughts to share but we had an absolutely great time. Food: the food is a bit pricey but it's delicious! The service for food was a little slow but once someone took our order we did get it timely. Music: we love the music but when we were there at 12:00pm on a Saturday it's not clubbin time and that was what was playing. Mini golf: it's $25/person to get unlimited play and $18/person to just do one course. it is absolutely worth it to pay the extra to get unlimited on the different courses but it is expensive. Each course is well decorated and high tech with a tablet at each hole that makes it super easy to keep score. Each course is only 9 holes but they have 3 courses. Drinks: expensive but good. Decor: the entire place is immaculately decorated. The light fixtures, seating, walls, bathrooms, everything feels high end. There is something to look at everywhere. What a fun place. Whether for a date night or group activity, who doesn't love some mini golf? The place doesn't look huge from the outside, but they have six 9 hole courses and plenty of table and lounge seating. Add some relaxed lighting to all that and this is a great place to hang out or play the courses. Each course has a few signature drinks and we both loved ours (I had the old fashioned). The putters are great quality too. What I loved: the lighting and design of the space make it a great place to hang out. The digital scorecard is also a brilliant touch so you don't have to carry one around with you. What could be better: the walls of each hole don't have much give for bounce, so keep that in mind. We played one course and as it was nine holes, it probably took us 20 minutes since the holes are pretty small and close together. But a plus is it wouldn't take you super long to play multiple courses. read more

Where have we been, this place has been opened for a while and finally got a chanced to check it out. It's a nice location in the Plaza. Parking garage is like a block away which is not bad when you can stroll along the street. This place has two floors, two bars, 3 9-holes courses, plenty of seatings and space. We enjoyed the art and creativeness for each course. Some course are a bit beat up though. They also have a kitchen here to serve food. Lots of worthy spots to take pictures as you wait your turn for the mini golf. Went on a Friday night, it wasn't too packed at the bar/dining area. Had a good time playing. I love the idea of this place: Eat, drink, play miniature golf on creative courses! It delivers on all three but it could use a little help. First, the music doesn't really fit with the atmosphere during the day. We asked about the genre and were told it was chosen by corporate. Maybe it works for the after-8pm adults-only club feel but it isn't particularly kid-friendly or enjoyable for an afternoon. Something a little lighter and fun would definitely be better. As for the golf, the three courses are well-decorated and pretty challenging but not too hard. There were several places, though, where uneven carpet and not well-thought out hidden holes impeded our game. Also, it would be great if the little "tables" at each hole were just a little bigger, maybe wrapping around the whole pole instead of just half? The food and drink, surprisingly, was the best part for me! I didn't expect much so maybe that's why but the fish & chips were some of the best I've had. The sauces were very good and the fish and fries were both well-seasoned and not greasy at all. The miso salmon was very tasty but was a little too well-done but the broccolini it came with was cooked perfectly. The drink menu was very good, with even a good number of Zero-Proof cocktails. It's nice to see a new activity on the Country Club Plaza. My friends and I came on a Thursday night and had a good time overall. We arrived at 4 p.m. to take advantage of the reduced pricing. The Puttery has a distinct Instagram worthy vibe so be ready to take pictures. Let's start with the mini putt: There are 3 courses with varying themes. Unfortunately, the skill level is pretty low and a few holes were impossible to complete. There were also holes that were clear bottlenecks and we had to wait 5 - 10 minutes to actually putt. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if it wasn't so crowded. We considered skipping holes, but it messes up the electronic tracing of your game. Next, the food: We tried their fries, which were decent, but decided to skip buying anything else. The cost was pretty high and there are plenty of options for food on the Plaza. Now, the drinks: Wonderful selection, multiple bars so we never had to wait long, and the bartenders were engaging. Overall, I think Puttery is worth adding to your rotation of things to try. I'd avoid going on the weekends and its worth going early to save a few bucks. Note it's only 18+ only after 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays. read more

This is one of the coolest places I've been to in KC. The decor and the vibe are so incredibly unique and swanky. It is multi-level with signature cocktails at each of its 3 9-hole mini golf courses (all indoor). We started with dinner on the lower level, my husband had the miso salmon and I had the steak frites. The food was off the chart delicious. Cooked perfectly, well seasoned, just so very good. The service was great once our server showed up (we were there around 5pm and after sitting a few minutes had to go to the bar to ask if there would be a server or how to place an order). I would definitely go back to eat for a special occasion. My cocktail was $15 though, and it was good, but I have yummy cocktails lots of places for $8-10. While I would absolutely recommend the food, and will go back for it--the mini golf was just okay. The decor in each of them is cute and clever and we loved the scorekeeping (electronic), but they are pretty small and the holes themselves aren't anything special. So I wouldn't recommend going for the mini golf ($18 per person for 1 course or $25 for all 3 courses) but I would absolutely recommend going for the food!! read more

Let me preface by saying...THE MUSIC HERE IS EVERYTHING!!! Best of the 90s early 2000s set the tone for the entire evening. We ate at the restaurant and had a few drinks. This combination cocktail bar and mini-golf course is well decorated and gives off a members-only atmosphere. But where the Puttery falls off is price. Each 9-hole course is $18 per person and the cocktails are expensive too. I sampled some of the pizza that also had a hefty price tag without the elevated taste to go with it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't visit because we did have fun. However, the price for that good time was higher than expected, which will keep me from visiting again any time soon. He treated myself and my partner with a lot of disrespect when taking our order so we went to the bar downstairs. We went on a Monday and it was very empty. They only had one bar downstairs open. We needed more instruction but the host was not helpful at all. The server was kind but stretched thin so she had trouble being attentive. The cocktails were good as were the food but nothing I had stood out. It was fun to play golf and the lack of people made it relaxed and more fun than if we were pressured by other groups playing. I'm not sure it is worth the cost though. read more
