TopGolf is something I somehow forget is available but always have a blast every time I go. We got a bay when it was cold, but the heaters work great and kept us all toasty warm. The options for games are plentiful and all ages can enjoy them. We had 5 all the way up into 70s and everyone had a blast. I love that there are times where the bays are cheaper. The food was great. We were here for an hour and 30 mins to play and eat. I thought there would be TVs to watch sports while playing golf but no such luck. The golf games were more luck than skill it seems so a bit silly but we still had fun. The machine also broke down so that took about 10-15 mins to fix. She said she was going to comp us but really have no idea if she did or not??? The food came out fast which was nice. The wings were pretty good. Not sure I would get them again. Pretzel knots were good and so were the dipping sauces they came with. The whole time felt rushed and was certainly pricey! I attended Top Golf for a company event . We had a group of 65 peoples. They placed us on the second floor. Food was served buffet style with a salad and make your own chicken and steak fajitas. Both the chicken and steak was very flavorful and cooked tenderly. We had chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Drinks were served by a Bartender near our bays. To play golf, there are 6 players to each bay. Pricing for an hour of golf is $40. We were there for two hours and played several rounds of golf. It's a fun evening, even if you are not a golfer. Nice seating area just to relax, enjoy the food, drinks and conversations with family, friends or even co-workers. The staffs did a pretty good job serving everyone. This was our first time at this Top Golf. It was probably one of the coldest days that week but the bays had two rows of heaters overhead that kept us warm. There were 4 adults and 4 kids and well all loved the game modes like Block Party and Angry Birds. We spent an hour and a half just going through playing different games. We got some appetizers for some, food for others. I had the Fried Chicken Heatwich which was phenomenal and massive! Our server made sure that we always had what we needed whether that was drinks, snacks or information about the site. The food at Topgolf is absolutely phenomenal every time that's the one thing that I can never complain about whenever I go however, the service always seems to lack in some way the day that me and my family went we ordered three of these platters of food because we had a lot of people coming not only did we have a lot of people show up and come, but it was also very hot outside. it didn't seem like we had enough people taking care of us with the volume of people we had in our party, which was very disappointing, considering that we spent a lot of money at their establishment. Let me just start off by saying that Top Golf in Overland Park is not responsible for my tragic golf swing. But that is beside the point, right? We've been to this Top Golf several times, and while it's not the cheapest activity around, it's so much fun!! The process is, when it's your turn you wave your golf club in front of a sensor which plops a ball out. Then you stick that ball on the tee, and whack it as hard as you can. Make sure no small children or tall husbands are in front of the safety line when you do this, because you may accidentally take them out. The place itself is really well maintained. It's stylish too - I almost feel like a pro when I walk in,...that is until I pick up a club and remember how bad I truly am. The servers check consistently check in on us to make sure we're doing alright and don't need more food and drinks, which is nice. So yes! We came here for a business event, it has definitely improved since my last visit. The service at the booths was good, Vinny did great for us! Michael, the bartender we got was a slacker. He did a great job of hiding in a corner to look like he wasn't there. It was like we were inconveniencing him. The food here has improved since the last visit. Located in Overland Park, this is like LIV Golf's version of a driving range. This modern facility has golf bays on multiple levels. Instead of just hitting the ball to a nothing field there are lighted targets. The ball tracker (same technology used on tv) follows the ball and generates a score based on accuracy to a target. Along with the excitement of playing the game each bay has a host/hostess to get bar drinks and good orders. Each bay is equipped with a set of men's and women's clubs (odd or even irons plus drivers). Left handed are available. The cost is per bay per hour and changes based on time of day and day of week (Tuesdays are discounted). Note that there is a one time $5 membership fee for each person. There is a full service bar area with big screen tvs to enjoy if waiting for a bay. There is also a shop for hats, shirts, etc. I was hoping to get a souvenir golf ball as I left but the shop closes when they call "last call". Our kiddos usually come with their friends, and since I am considering having a graduation celebration here, I decided to check out the scene before solidifying my decision to host an event here. This is my experience: Customer Service 1/10 Right off the bat, we immediately noticed the subpar customer service interactions from the staff. Avery was running the check-in desk and she made it very apparent she did not enjoy her job, so we did not feel welcomed. When we got to our bay, we waited over ten minutes before my husband decided to flag someone down to help us. Bailey was our bay host, and she left much to be desired. Not only did she disappear frequently during our visit, but she also forgot to bring a Dr. Pepper refill. When we initially placed our drink order, she seemed slow to bring out our drinks--another ten or so minutes passed before she came back to grab our food order. Honestly, she had more enthusiasm for the group to the left of us versus us and another neighboring table with a small child and their mother. It was beyond disappointing. Additionally, we believe we saw a couple of managers walking by, but they couldn't care less about interacting with the guests and making sure they had what they needed. Staff Diversity: 3/10 During this visit, we noticed two bartenders and one bar host/server that had diverse backgrounds, but that is as far as it goes. It could be worse, but it definitely can be a lot better! It may be Sunday with a slower-paced crowd impacted the staffing. Food: 2/10 We opted for appetizers: steak nachos, pretzel bites, mac and cheese bites, chips, salsa, and queso. The steak in the nachos was burned and the chips seemed stale. Price: 1/10 Our total for today's visit was nearly $150, which was to be expected for three kids and two adults. I feel the food prices do not reflect the quality of what we consumed this afternoon. QA definitely needs to be reassessed for the food. Overall: 1.75/10 This was one of the most disappointing visits I have had in a long time. I am aware that COVID has impacted businesses in many ways, but with the economy the way it is, when a family decides to have fun and spend over $150, the food quality and service should match what we are spending. Seeing as the bay host could not handle a group of five (at least our group. She did really well with the group of 7 next to us) I do not feel confident that the other bar hosts can handle a bigger group celebrating a special occasion. I can also see from previous reviews that customer service among the staff is an issue, which is a reflection of the management. Had no idea what Topgolf was going in, but after learning some basics, hanging out, and attempting to play for two hours, I could see why it's popular. It's a casual driving range with lots of options, and it's open to everyone. You can go by yourself, with a date, with some friends, etc. I was so glad that I went with a chill group that had someone who has Topgolf'd before, because I'm a total noob at golf. But my noobness didn't stop me from having fun and learning what I could haha. There are multiple floors, but I'm not sure how they're assigned. We didn't need to wait on a Sunday afternoon and got a spot in front of the automatic doors in the middle floor. Good view of everything and close to the bathrooms. Food, drinks, and merch were available on each floor. A bunch of games and challenges are offered, but you can also just practice swinging. It's cool because how easygoing or competitive your time is depends on you and your group (if you're going with one). Two hours of Topgolf was pricier than anticipated, but I thought it was fun, so I would definitely go again with friends! read more

We had a large group for Father's Day. The server told us we had too many for the bay that we had reserved. I told her there was no limit listed when we made the reservation and most of them were children. She brought the manager over to speak with us. The managers words were "so other than a safety violation what is going on over here?" I understand rules, I am a rule follower. There were a lot of ways that manager could've addressed the situation and the way she did was not any of the ways I would accept. Some of our group had to go to the bar, we had a one year-old baby that we had to feed and entertain because we were not allowed in the bay because the older children wanted to golf. The manager did come over and apologize and said she was going to take off our fees and give us 50% discount for today's visit. When the server brought me the bill they had actually added an amount rather than subtract. I don't know if it's the manager that put it in, but I think so. Apparently they don't train their managers. The bathroom had no paper towels, which I think is another sign of lack of management. The server I had in the bar was very nice. The server in the bay paid the brunt of it because she missed out on a much larger bill since we all had to split up. I doubt we will go again. read more

I am appalled as I see NO REVIEWS from neurotypical people who were treated with such blatant disregard. Unfortunate that people like my son try to go out in the world like neurotypical people, yet are disregarded as not worthy of being served the food they ordered after 2 hours of waiting. Appalling! A visit to Top Golf in modern times appears to be constantly fraught with a dichotomy of frustrations, and excitement and fun! Let's start with the positive: despite the word "golf" being in the name, one really not need be a scratch golfer (read: really any good at all) to have a major BLAST at Top Golf! The gamification is really brilliant, and most of my visits here are with folks who either rarely golf, have never golfed, or have never even known the word "golf" to have existed. Fun is ALWAYS had by all! Bonus fun will be had if you are able to secure a higher floor to play from, and at night! The range is well-lit, glows green, and gives off tons of great vibes after dark! Other positives are the food and fine folks who serve at TG! We've enjoyed many of the appetizers and drinks, and the wait staff is phenomenal at checking in to assist with both concessions and the game itself, should you require any technical assistance. So, what's the beef? Two things, actually: scheduling, and expense. The latter may not come as too much surprise, considering that it's golf, and a gamification of golf at that; what may be more a surprise is the scheduling can be a struggle. There are SO many limitations, requirements, down payments, and so forth... for something so seemingly popular, making it this difficult to schedule seems like bureaucracy for bureaucracy's sake. That said, push through that frustration, and it's mostly fun thereafter! read more

We LOVE the environment of top golf. The heaters are the perfect addition whenever it is cold out but you still want to get swings in. The people golfing on both sides of us were fun to be around. We figured out how to login and then once the server came by she let us know it was billed by the hr. She didn't say how much that was. We played a game called angry birds. Upon checking out we were billed $90 total and we tipped $10 This also showed a membership fee that we never approved. We likely will no ever return to this venue. Fun fun fun! I'm not sure why I've not been here sooner. I've made numerous reservations and had intentions to go over the years, but better late than never. My friends and I went on half price Tuesday, and it was packed. If you go, make sure you plan ahead because there's quite a wait because people want to take advantage of the special. We made reservations online and it's a lot like going to the DMV. Your number comes up and you get an option to go in or request more time to go back into the queue. It's actually a pretty good system. Our waitress came as soon as we got to our bays and took our orders. The drinks and food came pretty quickly, and they were actually pretty good. The instructions to play are pretty simple and if you need help, they are there to help you. We had to switch players from one bay to the other during mid game, and they were able to accommodate us. We went here in a last minute visit with a friend. The wait staff never introduced them selves to us and came across as if they did not want to be bothered. This continued from the beverage order to have to flag them down for napkins/linens. The Mrs had the spicy Korean cauliflower wings which were good but portions were small. The blackened fish tacos were nice to look at but the flavor was off. I had the cheese fries (sub fries for tots) with added bacon pieces.
