Great local beers, chill vibes, and fun mini-golf! We went to Craft Putt on a Saturday early evening, for some beers, snacks, and a game of mini-golf. I really appreciated that Craft Putt features a fantastic list of local, micro-brewed beers on draft. I enjoyed a JoCo juice by Limitless brewing and a Monk & Honey by Torn Label - both were perfectly cold and tasty. We also ordered cheese curds, which were solid. Our bartender was really helpful and service was quick. Craft Putt's vibe is really casual and fun, with nine holes of mini-golf. This was our second time at Craft Putt. (Our first visit wasn't long after they opened) I liked that you could order at the table with a QR code. We got the Mac and cheese bites and nachos. The Mac and cheese bites were ok. You do get a large portion of them. The nachos were very salty. There were huge chunks and salt stuck to the chips. Overall, the nachos were just ok. I really love the idea of indoor mini golf. We went during 'glow golf.' The lights were out other than black lights. (No children are allowed after 8pm). It was a bit crowded and the lines waiting for the next hole caused some congestion. We played 2 rounds before going to hole 10 (which keeps your ball). It is fun for a date night (as long as you are patient with waiting) but the food is just ok. read more

Ohhhhhh MAN the concept is so cool but the execution is incredibly underwhelming. We stopped in on a Saturday when the last Pre-season Chiefs game was on. We hoped to drink a beer or two, watch the game, and putt putt a bit. The beer was delish and the bartenders were great, but all over the restaurant we found tables and areas with dirty glassware, napkins etc. The Chiefs game was being shown on multiple TVs which would normally be awesome but every single TV was synched differently. The game was 10, 20, and 45 seconds apart depending on the TV you watched. The Putt Putt is tiny and so underwhelming. $10 for literally 10 minutes of game play. They have a nice alcohol selection so my boyfriend and I both got a beer before beginning our round of mini golf. There were a couple of groups ahead of us, so we let them start first. I visited Craft Putt for the first time last Wednesday night with my sister. I'm not sure how busy it is on a regular week night, but the place was packed for trivia. Overall, it seems like a fun spot and concept. I ordered the Hand Wedge Hummus. The description is as follows: "Curried hummus flatbread with tahini, garlic oil, cilantro, scallions. Served with fresh cut vegetables and toasted pita." It was alright, I appreciate that it is unique, but I think the description is misleading - I wouldn't include both "flatbread" and "served with [...] toasted pita" when, based on what came out, those appear to be referring to the same thing - the pita is the flatbread. And "served with fresh cut vegetables" makes me think of carrot sticks or cucumber slices not the thin shaved carrot and raw onion toppings. Also beware that this was an incredibly messy eat. I recently went to Craft Putt for the second time. I saw the adults only glow golf for Friday night on Instagram and thought that sounded like a good idea for a date night. All of the ordering is at your table scanning the QR code to get to the menu. There's a decent selection of beer on draft including some good local options. We each ordered a beer and shared the mac n cheese bites and nachos. The nachos were okay. It was a good sized portion. The downside was that some of the chips were coated in huge salt pieces. I was thinking someone in the kitchen may have accidentally dumped pretzel salt on them somehow. We had to closely inspect the chips near the bottom to avoid eating a huge dose of salt. The mac and cheese bites were pretty standard. Sauce is an up charge which was a bit of a let down. As far as the golf, it is always fun to play a round of mini golf in my opinion. I will say that I feel like $10 per person is a bit expensive for what it is. It feels a bit crowded. The holes are very close together and some are backed up against the walls. I do like that they have planned times for adults only. I was thinking that on my first visit when Craft Putt newly opened. Glad to see that is in place and they were pretty busy on a Friday night. I think maybe if there was some sort of dine and golf deal it would add more replay/revisit value. read more

First time at Craft Putt and we had an awesome time! Recently heard about their weekly trivia and this week we attended their 2000s romcom trivia. We won't talk about how my team did but it was so fun. We didn't do the mini golf but they have a cool setup. They also have one of best draft beer selections around. Including an impressive food menu with options for everyone, this place is just great all around. I had some tacos and while the tortillas could use a little work, the flavor was fantastic. This was a cute little spot. I think it would be a fun group outing. I was a little confused by the setup. And the employee at the counter was less than enthusiastic about all of it. But basically, you go in, buy a game, they keep your card on file as a sort of "tab." Having your card on file allows you to order drinks or food from the bar-that was one point of confusion, is there just one tab? Yes. Cool. After they run your card they give you a token. You then take the token and into the golf ball machine it goes. Lots of fun colors. Cute idea. A little bit of a pain in the you know what. Especially if there's several people trying to do the same thing. Then you grab a golf club from the bags located next to the golf ball machine. I appreciate that they have all the sizes out so you can simply look for the correct club for you by looking for the assigned color. I do wonder how sanitary the whole thing is... You then go through all 10 stations. I lost. I'm not surprised by that. But it was fun. The courses had an appropriate amount of difficulty. I think if you went with a group, it would be a good time. Or if you have kids, this is a great place to entertain them especially if the weather sucks. At the 10th hole, your ball disappears forever. You can go back up to the counter to add additional games to your tab, get tokens, repeat the above process. If they are busy, the courses can get backed up so patience is sometimes necessary. You can always grab a local craft beer or even a cocktail from the bar. I had a chaddyshack. It was quite strong but it was good and it took me about one game to finish it. They also have food. Came in for the Thursdate deal that covers two putters and two drinks which include wells and domestic cans for $20. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the putt putt courses were very basic and boring but I did appreciate that craft putt offered free courses around the building that are marked with blue turf. We came in just at the end of happy hour and were able to try some of their discounted food. We ordered the chicken bites, fried pickles and cheese curds. All of the food was pretty tasty and they weren't skimping on the sauces on the side. The last thing we tried was the KC Poutine which had cheese curds, brisket and BBQ gravy on top! Had a fun time at craft putt! It is a great activity to do with friends. We came during happy hour and tried a couple happy hour appetizers before hitting the holes. The food was pretty good. A lot of it was basic but not bad. The cheese curds were my favorite. They were seasoned very well. We went on a Thursday and they had a date night deal. It was $20 for two putt passes and two drink tickets. It seemed like a great deal when we saw it online but you can only get basic beers or well drinks with the drink ticket. What a fun place for a date, friends, and family! We went on a night where they also hosted trivia so it was like having two adventures in one! The holes are pretty fun and some are challenging! The bar is right in the middle so it makes it easy to get another round while you play! There's lots of color options and sizes of clubs, the 10 hole was the most challenging, but I have to give it to the little trees that make you feel like a giant. Came here for 1st time for a kids birthday party. Heard it was $400 to rent for 3 hours. Putt putt was ok, like other reviewers said you can get thru the whole course in 10-20 minutes. It felt so refreshing to not be surrounded by "busy" and "flashy." I really appreciated the "blue turf" games. These are free to play and help make the fun last after the 10 holes. We also sat at a table for a while and ordered nachos, happy hour cheese curds and pretzels, and a few drinks. I really wanted to love this place a lot and it definitely was a fun time, however, it is just not super interesting. The holes are pretty basic and don't have a lot going on. It is not terribly difficult but then their extra games are relatively impossible. We tried both connect 4 and shuffleboard and nobody made one hole. It is decorated really beautifully and they have great drink options. It's definitely fun for a first date or a simple night out but if you're trying to get competitive, this is not the place for you. read more

The lack of decor seemed to take away from the festive mood I was hoping this place would create. I love the names of the cocktails but my "On the Green" was a little too sweet for my liken. This is a fun concept that I think could be evergreen. It's a pub with 10 indoor mini golf holes. The 10 holes threw me off, but it's more like 9 holes + a golf ball return. The last hole is actually super fun. There are plenty of tvs to catch your favorite sports game while you eat and play. Mini golf is just $10 a person, which isn't too bad. The pub food was better than I expected! I ordered the Nashville wrap, which was supposed to have fried onions (me thinking they are crunchy) and they were grilled onions. The flavor tasted more like buffalo chicken wrap, but it was decent. Kids meals were good, but the highlight for us was the KC poutine! The cheese curds and that gravy were yummy! Went on a Sunday afternoon, I have never been there before and I only saw one worker and she was not very welcoming. I asked if it was open seating and I was trying to figure out how they operated, so I sat a table for a while and no server came by and then I realized you have to go to the bar to order. The one worker I dealt with seemed annoyed and while the food prices seemed reasonable, the drink prices are on the expensive side. They were extremely detailed, ensured us of food safety and brought it out separately! This place is fine I guess. Food was alright. Beer was beer. The management and staff were ridiculously rude. I was attempting to plan a party for 30 people so I came in on a Wednesday afternoon to ask a few questions and attempt to reserve some party space. When I went in on the Wednesday we were the only people there. The staff was fine but the manager repeatedly denied to speak with us about reservations and told us to reserve online, not answering any questions. I emphasize there were no other patrons in the bar. Now it's the night for the party. We decided just to show up early and see what was available. Other than our party of 20-30 people there were not many people in the building. Around 10:30pm (they close at midnight) we went to play another round of mini golf. While we were playing staff began cleaning and closing for the night. They were vacuuming the greens while we played, closed all of the beer taps, AND closed all of our tabs without asking or offering. We were made very uncomfortable and treated poorly by the staff and ended up leaving before planned. After spending over $800 on a bar tab and golf, I will not be back. Just like every other business that has occupied this building in the past I'm sure Craft Putt will be out of business soon. Don't wast your time or money. read more

My wife and I had high hopes for this place and were looking forward to a new spot in the neighborhood that we could go to regularly with other couples. Unfortunately, the place is just really underwhelming and has a very unfinished and cheap "thrown together" feel to it, almost like the entire concept was thrown together in one weekend. Just not the kind of place you would take your team to for a fun event or hang out, and the atmosphere is a million miles away from the vibe of chicken and pickle, Sinkers Lounge, top golf etc. Great selection of local beers, but i'd be shocked if this place is still around in a year or two. Super cute and fun place for a family fun day. We sampled some beer from our local breweries, played a round of 10 holes! The space is huge and plenty of room to move around. We went at an earlier time to beat the crowd and it was perfect! Definitely a good space for us to come back this summer. I can't believe they got rid of the QR codes but did not replace them with a person taking your order at your table. Had really high hopes coming here with a group of people who live close by and would adore a place like this. I enjoyed all the food and drinks I tried and I appreciated all the drink options. I had gone in earlier in the week to speak with someone about planning the event and nobody would come out. I realize it's easy to book online but I didn't love the options and had a few questions. I would've greatly appreciated if someone would've spoken to me, even if they couldn't have done anything different. The bartender/server was extremely kind and helpful but the fact that management wouldn't give us any time was disappointing. When we came in with our group we spent lots of money on food, drinks, and putting. We overall had a nice time. However it was again soured by the service we experienced toward the end of the night. It became very clear that the staff was cleaning / closing things down despite being over an hour until their posted closing time on a Friday night. In addition, a large amount of our group was still there making drink/golf purchases! Some workers were extremely nice and helpful while others were rude and made our group feel pressured to leave.
