I'm 70 years old and back on the farm we would have to kill a cow and grow the tomatoes for a burger but at Main Event it took longer to get a burger than it took to get one at the farm and the on top of that it was burnt to hell. This place was lots of fun! $15 gets you a night of unlimited bowling, pool, and lasertag. The cocktails are very cheap ($5 grey goose cosmos! I wonder if the bartender made a mistake?) This place isn't for serious bowlers- the lanes are on the small side and there's lots of lasers and blacklights. But this is definitely a great place to meet up with some friends and get your mind off the stresses of everyday life. It caters to families and groups of kids too- so just be open to a mixed but friendly crowd. I would go more often if it wasn't so far away, but I can say for sure that it was a genuine good time. One more thing: if you're a professional drinker, you may be better off ordering all your drinks from the bar, as our cocktail server rarely came back to check on us, so we didn't get refills nearly as quickly as we would have liked. read more

I really like Main Event, but it's a little pricey. If you have kids, the best time to go is during the week, mid-day because it's not busy at all. It's fun that they combine adult activities with kid activities in the same building. I brought my whole youth group here and the workers were real sweet! We got a package for food, one game of bowling, one game of laser tag and some cards for arcade games.... They had a blast we even had our own VIP section for the bowling but when it came to the bowling each of our alleys (we had 3) had their own issues and we had to stop our game on each one to call management on multiple occasion. They were generous and gave us each additional $5.00 for the arcade games and we had 17 people! The bowling part wasn't fun but everything else was great! read more

It was horrible. My family along with another, 8 people, 4 kids under 5, spent over $200 at this place. Only to be thrown out of the table we were sitting at because they wanted the lanes for other customers. That's right, while halfway through our meal 4 blue shirts swarmed our table and told us we were being moved. So I take my son and go to the new table after being told they will relocate our food. Nope they tossed the garbage from the table on top of my plate. When confronted about their horrible service the manager offered to comp only part of my meal ... because I had already eaten part of it. When I asked why it was so important we be moved I was told because they needed 3 lanes. we had two. The lanes we were at remained empty for over 30 minutes after we were evicted. Terrible experience. Almost every game was broke and continued to steal my money. When I went to get the credits back on my fun card , the attendant only refunded partial credit. The air hockey table didn't have a puck, the basket ball game & skee ball game didn't release the balls, and putt putt games ball continuous got Jammed in the machine. Place is fun and clean. The equipment is a little worn down and the score keeping function would register a pin even when the girlfriend would throw a gutter ball. Which was often lol. That's fine though it's not like it made a difference to us but I would imagine that's frustrating for real competitive people or leagues. The games are a little antiquated and the selection wasn't great. The food however.... was that impressive. It came out looking like a 5 star restaurant. Great presentation. Really good tasting. Very surprised and happy with it. A little expensive but all around a fun night out. read more

This place is a great environment for family to gather for games and bowling. It's awesome for the guys to get together for some drinks, pool, bowling and laser tag! Awesome customer service and the whole place is clean! The general manager is a great guy that truly cares about his guest and will do anything to make sure you have a fulfilling experience here. Bar tenders are fun great people to speak with and wait staff carries the fun energy of the business around with them. Only issue is accessing the location by parking lot. Tried this place out recently for bowling and it was pretty nice. The front counter people weren't very friendly but the waitress was. The lanes were clean and the music and lights were fun. The reservations online were easy to set up. The shoes and balls were good quality and well organized. We will come back someday and bring the kids. read more

We've been to Main Event before because there's something for everyone. It's always a fun time with my niece and nephew. The food is good and the games are even more fun! I feel like I'm 10 again when I come. It's a bit overpriced and we had quite a few issues with some of the games taking $ off our card and not working, but I talked with the staff and they did credit our game cards. My nephew could play laser tag all day and my niece and I love playing Guitar Hero (I skunked her this time too, yay!). It's a great indoor place to let loose and be a kid, but I do think it's still a bit overpriced where the arcade type games are concerned. This was our 2nd time here though, so I'm sure we'll be back again. read more

I went to this place with some work colleagues when I was in Dallas on a business trip a couple days ago. It was about $67 for 4 people to bowl for 2 hours after the rental shoes, socks, etc. The food menu was pretty simple. I had a mushroom burger which was eatable but didn't blow me away. I expected there to be a better variety of food considering the size of this place. One thing that did strike me funny was that they didn't serve beer by the pitcher which automatically gets a 1 star deduction in my book. Overall I had a pretty good time. They have billiards, pool, games, lazer tag. Good place to go for all ages, especially if your stuck near DFW airport for a couple days. read more

I have been to different main events in different cities throughout the years and honestly this one just isn't really any "fun". You have your bowling, which is expensive and LOUD with huge ass televisions right in front of where you bowl so I kind of found that distracting. Moving on to the pool tables, um pool is pool. Enough said. The video games are a bit out dated to me, nothing just over the top fun, more like chucky cheese fun, mainly for the little guys. Another annoying thing was the machine that was suppose to take CREDIT and cash was only taking cash tonight, NO CREDIT. Most people carry plastic now a days and I noticed ALOT of people giving the WTF look when that screen came up and said "card error" cash only..... Dave and Buster's hands down is soooo much better, IMO. read more

Came to Main Event on a company outing. More than enough room at this location. The bowling and pool is my favorite games to play. I am not much of a pool player but I still had fun. Plenty of lanes for bowling and plenty of tables for pool. They also have laser tag and plenty of cool video games. TVs everywhere so guests can see sporting highlights and news. Main Event has Full bar and restaurant on site. Pizza was very good and the Thai wings was very delicious. I had so much fun and will bring a date here next time. I highly recommend this place for company events or birthday parties. Too much to do and it's full of fun times. read more

Met some friends here last weekend to have a couple of drinks, grab a snack and play some games. Ordered the loaded tater tots and chicken nachos. Both were okay for a place that is geared towards entertainment vs food. Tater tots were a bit over cooked and the nachos could have used more toppings such as chicken and cheese. The Game area is okay, many of the games were not working properly and there weren't very many employees around to ask for assistance. Overall it's an okay place to hang out and play some games as long as expectations aren't too high. read more

Horrible customer service... Arcade filthy and watching the game technicians and they have no clue how to fix games... Their rental lines are being ignored and wow their bowling is so horrid... Lanes have no oil. And I mean none.. The friction is hideous if I didn't know what to look for at a entertainment area... If I could give this place a negative I would. Went there to bowl and waited in line 45 agonizing MINUTES only to be told the wait was 1 1/2 hrs!!!!! The manager was on one cash register and an employee was on the other. The most unorganized place I have ever stepped foot in. Dont waste your time. They were in no hurry to help anyone and when they finally got around to you, they acted as if they were doing you a favor by waiting on you. We requested to speak w/said mgr and after 30 min he came over to us and said "you want to complain?" I have never seen a more unprofessional establishment....ever! read more

What an experience!!! So my husband and I decide to take a 30 min drive to main event bc it's typically our favorite arcade/eatery, even though Dave and Busters was only 15 mins from where we are staying. We have 4 children that love playing the games here. So we get here and send our older children off to play some games each got $100 to play. My husband and I sat to eat with our 2 younger children. We waited about 15-20 mins before anyone greater is (after my husband went to a waiter and requested service) we order our drinks and waited ............ they came out horribly wrong. Ordered our food waited agin 30-45 mins before they brought out just fries!?! Another 5-10 mins passed before our wings came out, when I ordered I requested buffalo sauce on the side, when the wings were served their was no sauce. I asked for my sauce and the waiter told me he'd go get it ........ he never did! My husband got up and got it for me. We didn't see the waiter again until we were done eating. I got up and asked another waiter to speak with a manager. When I explained what had happened the manager adjusted our check for the inconvenience. Our bill was reduced to about 36$ so my husband left $40, 2 $20 bills to be exact. I was ready to leave but my kids wanted to play more so we did. While my family and I were playing basketball I noticed the manager standing behind us with a POLICE OFFICER!! I addressed them and the manager accused us of not paying our bill! And told us we need to leave! I was appalled and told him we most definately paid and told him what was paid, I then told him he needs to check his security cameras bc someone must've stole the money (I'm thinking it was the highly insulted waiter) he then walked off to check his cameras and requested the officer walked us out. Once my family and I reached the front door and sat for him to review his cameras the officer walked back over to us and told us the manager decided he wasn't worried about it and he would review the cameras later in the evening!!!! NEVER in my life have we been treated with such disrespect. We are not thieves. I suggest this location gets evaluated by corporate bc they are decieptful and unorganized. Great place to take the family for food, fun, and entertainment

I just went today for the first time. Let me just say that I am absolutely not a fan of Main Event. The bar smelled like somebody had vomited all over it, and none of the staff had seemed to noticed or even care. Not to mention the bartenders didn't know how to make a cocktail to save their lives. The staff was extremely rude. We waited over an hour for a bowling lane, which was fine. However, once we had the lane we had to wait over half an hour for somebody to come take our order, and that was only after we actively had to get a staff member's attention. After gaining their attention, we received nothing but snide remarks and glares. Once we were able to order food and have it delivered to our lane, it was mediocre at best. A friend of mine had ordered the wings, and they showed up cold and bland. All in all, I will not be returning to this mismanaged excuse of a business. read more

My daughter now has athlete feet because of this place. She does not do anything else to cause this she is a home body. The first time she wears another person shoes is at this place. I wanted to give her a different experience and so we went bowling (first time). I paid 15.95 for her to get athlete feet. I contracted the company and the honestly they do not care. On another note, they did offer us a free trip back to the Main Event, I declined. What do they think I will let her get it again. If you want any fungus growing on yours or your loved ones feet this is the place. If not I would honestly stay away and pay money else where. read more
