Since it's a burger joint, Hubs ordered the Balboa and I ordered the Yeti. Wow! My burger was to die for. The rosemary goat cheese with bacon jam was the perfect combo of tangy and sweet! Hubs was eating his burger without any complaints which is what you want. Both of us went with the hand cut fries. Crispy and very good! We can't wait to return. This place is legit!

I'm a big sports fan so as soon as I walked in, I was all about the baseball and sports collection all around the restaurant. Lots of great fun facts about baseball greats like Jackie Robinson, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays & many more. To eat, I went with the Triple Crown, which is a double steakburger, bacon and a fried egg. I added lettuce, tomato's and pickles. I thought the egg was gonna be fried all the way through, but it was more like a fried sunny-side-up egg. I wasn't gonna let that stop me from enjoying. Added the fries & drink combo to the burger and figured to upgrade to the garlic fries to see how they were done. While I waited, I enjoyed the decor and learn a few new things about some of my favorite baseball players. My burger was on point and great. I like the garlic fries, but I've always included rosemary, and I think that was missing for me. They have alcohol and a bar around the corner. I like being able to self-serve myself with soft drinks. Seating outside is patio pet-friendly and offers great shading if you come in the afternoon as the sun sets behind the building. They have this location and one in Flagstaff that I will absolutely return back for. I do think I spent more than expected, but it was a great quality burger. I just wish the fries came with it for that price.

The manager brought over a carnation and gave it to me in honor of Mother's Day, I thought that was incredibly sweet! It was totally unexpected. My boys truly enjoyed their meals, just as much as I enjoyed mine. They were completely intrigued by the interior decor, and it was fun to see their reactions. The other places I've eaten bacon at have been so lackluster that I begun to wonder if I even enjoyed bacon anymore. Thanks to Old School Grub, I was able to eat delicious bacon once more. The French toast was warm and tasty and eggs were absolutely wonderful. They also have a large array of hot sauces to choose from. Overall, it was a great experience. Parking is available, there are garden beds to visit while you wait for your food, and most of all... The food is farm fresh. When my husband asked where I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary, I really wanted a casual place where we could bring the kids, and I was really in the mood for some good, old-fashioned American food. I wanted a delicious burger, french fries, and a milkshake! We decided to get there on an early Friday evening after we finished work and we got a parking spot right out front. We walked right up to order our food, no line. It appeared that we had beat the Rush because the place definitely filled in by the time we got our food. I was surprised at the prices, but I was happy to pay it because we had such an enjoyable experience with such delicious food. Our food took about 20 minutes and we each got burgers, fries, and milkshakes. We ordered the farm and grill burger with cheddar cheese and french fries. We all shared the fries sampler that included garlic/Parmesan fries, sweet potato fries, and regular fries. My son and husband shared the strawberry milkshake and my daughter and I shared the vanilla bean milkshake. The service was amazing, the environment was so fun, the food was delicious, the milkshakes were the best I've ever tasted, and the entire experience was perfect. I already cannot wait to go back. I'll be dreaming about those milkshakes for a while. Also, the garlic/Parmesan fries and sweet potato fries were delicious. The beet salad is amazing and fresh.
