This is the second time eating here. This time I tried the Sonora burger. I am glad I tried something different. The cheese contra was different, it was yummy and crunchy, excellent addition to the burger. The fries were tasty as usual, crispy and nicely salted. I continue to love the modern decor of the restaurant. I went for lunch, there were a lot of construction workers there for lunch, you know it must be good. We've been waiting for this to open, finally came in and it did not disappoint! We had the single Chiwas Burger, single Sonoran burger, sonoran dog and cheese fries. The service is friendly, its counter style ordering. Everything was very tasty and the burgers are perfectly cooked, a nice crispy edge and still juicy on the inside. The roasted green chilis were perfectly roasted and had a lot of flavor, with a good amount of spice. We will definitely be back! read more

This place is bomb! It's pricey but great food nevertheless. The classic double cheeseburger combo is the real deal. Make sure you get the spicy ketchup. Downtown Mesa has been needing a place like this for a long time. I highly recommend this place if you want a good burger joint. I'll have to try the Sonora and Chiwas style next time. read more

This place was awesome! The Mexican/American fusion with a burger spot is a welcome addition to the Valley. Downtown Mesa is arguably the coolest downtown city center of the Valley suburbs. I enjoyed all of the burgers and really loved the Sonora. The employees were friendly and the vibes were immaculate! Burger I would rate a 6.5 nothing too great except ima big chiltepin fan!! That was my favorite part of the burger. Be better if was made to order can tell patty's had been sitting for a bit. I asked for no onions they put them and I was able to pick them off easily. I also asked no house sauce which had that as well, wasn't over powering like other reviews said so wasn't bad!! Been on our list to try since we saw it open. Honestly don't think it's the place to eat at. Burger was pretty bland in flavor and greasy as the classic option, my family each tried the other two burgers and said the same thing. The fries were chewy and no flavor either. Love that they have red cream soda. But I don't think I'd come back here especially for the price point. The service was good and quick and I love the cute pink baskets. Disappointed but I think has potential. Went for the first time and needs work. The key here is the burgers need to be HOT, caramelized onions cooked, and not so sloppy with the sauce causing soggy. Better quality buns for the high price also needed. The fries were cold, ran out of ice and needed to refill ketchup. I've been driving by this place for months wanting to check it out and I finally stopped in for lunch recently and got a burger for takeout.. Classic double combo ended up being over $20. I probably wouldn't get takeout again.. The office is 5 minutes away and by the time I got there and unwrapped, the bun was soaked through. They used quite a lot of sauce which was tasty, but a bit much so it ended up being a knife and fork deal. Aside from the sogginess, the burger was good. Fries were fine, but don't really stand out. Burgers are made to order and the quality of ingredients seemed high.. Burger was good, but not sure it was $20 good. If I go again, I may just get a burger, not a combo. read more

Came in to get a burger when stopping by in Mesa from Scottsdale for an appointment. Came into Main Burger and had one of the worst dining experiences I've had outside of McDonald's. First off manager cranky and everyone in there looks depressed. Lots of Homeless inside for cups of water. Burger comes out with at least a 1/4 cup of the saltiest thousand island on Earth. Never written a review about a single place before coming to this establishment. Unprofessional crew, dirty, and possibly the worst smash burger I've ever had. If you're smart you'll look down the block and notice there is one of the best fried chicken spots down the block. If you really need a burger In'n'Out is 2 miles (8 min drive) down the road. Save yourself and just go there. You'll be treated to much better quality. Or go to Proof a couple doors down, they usually have some great pizza! Anywhere but Main Burger. read more

AMAZING is what comes to mind when I think of the overall experience we've had. This place is so simple yet incredible at the same time. When you first walk in your greeted with a smile and a welcome back from Jonah. He'll direct you to the menu, which has 3 burgers plus add ons. You choose between a single or double patty. We ordered the classic and added bacon and green chili, and also the chiwas burger. Both were amazing, and the fries were great as well. Order the spicy ketchup with them you'll love it. I have eaten over 10k burgers in my years on earth and there is a big difference between a truly good burger and all the rest. Few make the cut. This new burger spot joins the rare group of really good burgers you can still find. The beef is tender and flavorful. I would bet it is fresh and hasn't seen the inside of a freezer (but I haven't confirmed that with the owner). The fixings and bun were fresh and good quality, adding to the experience.
