She's a wonder with color as well as design, always creative and open to ideas. Today we decided to go with a Halloween/Beetlguise theme. So I went for a fill and something simple and my nails came out bumpy and thick and shaping was not that good even though the shaping I had before I got the full was perfect . I feel like in these times all nail techs should be aware of leaving customers with bumpy clumpy nails because it doesn't even fit the standards anymore. Tech name: LeAnn. Services I got: new full set acrylic with gel & mini design, cuticle remover, pedicure, eye brow waxing, and mini facial. Total I paid: $123 that includes a $20 dollar tip. Customer service: GREAT! I called to see if they had any open spots and squeezed me right in with out even knowing that i wanted all the services I got today they were friendly upon arrival and not much wait time. Nails: I am very pleased with my nails LeAnn was very nice and held great conversation. Super friendly although she accidentally nicked me a bit she apologized and cleans up the cut. (I have been cut before and you'd be surprised the attitude I would get when I pointed it out to the tech. Not Leann though ! ) Pedi: was done from someone different and didn't get her name unfortunately, but also job well done. Eye brow waxing; I was impressed I have been getting threading for a while and didn't want to make a double trip so decided to do it here LeAnn let me know the wax they use if for people with sensitive skin and it honestly was awesome! It was painless and the way she cleaned up / shaped was exactly how I wanted it ! Mini Facial: soooooo here's where i got caught off guard I thought I was only getting a facial, but LeAnn also did a mini arm, neck and shoulder massage while whatever was on my face was cooking. She removed some difficult white heads (yes it could be painful, but she made sure I wasn't hurting) and even gave me some motherly tips about how to prevent my white head issue in the future lol Anyways topic of this review is I'll be coming again! lol read more

I'm not someone that usually posts reviews, but after this set I have to say something! I came in as a walk in and went with a lady I hadn't gone with before, I used to come here every two weeks about a year ago then I stopped since I work in the medical field. I'm on vacation and was so excited to get my nails done!! And 60$ for this??? My thumb is extremely messy and uneven. I told the lady I wanted a few diamonds on my thumbs and by the time I looked I was so disappointed. To top it off I told her one of my nails was crooked and she told me it will look better once she puts the powder on which I thought was just a lazy thing of her wanting to just cover up the mistake and not reapplying a nail. All my nails are different sizes compared to my other hand and they aren't even filed properly. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be coming back. read more

I was driving around Chula Vista looking for a nail place to try so of course I relied on my handy yelp app and started searching. I came across this place with only 10 reviews BUT mostly all 5 star ratings. I decided to give them a try and boy am I glad I did. I called and was able to make an appointment for 30 mins later. I can't believe how many times I've drove right by there and never took a second look. The business is right by fuddruckers in downtown Chula Vista 3rd ave. They have a bunch of polishes and designs displayed on their glass so it's easily seen from outside. Upon first walking in I was pleasantly surprised when only one nail tech asked me what I needed (instead of EVERYONE and they momma staring me down and all asking for what I needed like it usually happens when I go to any other nail place). The girls I did speak to were super friendly and i got sat right away. I got Ronny (I think that was her name) as my nail tech and she was awesome! I got a full set of acrylics with slanted glitter tips. One of the older ladies was doing my pedicure while a younger one did my nails. The lady doing my feet was very rough, and at one point while cutting by the side of the nail, she stabbed me. Today my toe was I pain and I come to find 3 pockets full of pus. Disgusting and I'm not too happy. The two stars go to the girl doing my nails. It's tough to be a Steelers fan in a Charger town. But when I came here to have a Steelers paint job done in time for a trip to Pittsburgh, the staff came through like champions! Rose actually did my fill and she didn't just "do" my nails, she CRAFTED them. They looked great and was worth the nearly two hours it took to get them done. If I had been in a hurry that day, I probably would've started getting antsy at the slow pace but it was worth the time and effort she put in. Linh did the pinstriping and logo design and worked from a small copy of the logo I'd brought in. Again, lots of attention to detail and she took her time to get it all just so. As mentioned earlier, if I had been under time constraints I'm not sure I could have afforded the 2.5 hours it took to do this, but since it was a special order, so to speak, I just let the gals there do their thing. Maile and her girls have made me a picky manicure customer, and I constantly am looking for a nail salon to measure up when I am out of town - - none ever has. Maile has a nail artist, Lucy, who does amazing, beautiful nails, and is capable of doing amazing, customized nails. My mom has even asked her to make her nails rainbow colored, with special designs on the top of each nail, and she was happy to try. It came out beautifully. Overall, I always get amazing service here, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the quality of the pedicures and manicures is always consistently amazing. I've gotten a chrome manicure done before and I got compliments for weeks! Maile always tries to fit you in as fast as possible. My family always get our nails done here for any special occasions. More 3.5 stars. I got an acrylic fill, gel polsih, and a design on 2 fingers. Want to say I paid $38, without the tip. The spider halloween design is awesome, she freehanded it and did not rush. The lady was nice but a little rough. She filed my nails a bit short and the top pads of a few fingers were sore and felt hot afterwards, I think she clipped me with the drill or file.
