I called in the morning when they opened at 9:30am and they were able to take me right away. I usually get dip but really wanted to have a nice fall design! So she recommended I try hard gel for the first time. I really love the way my nails turned out. You could tell she really knew what she was doing. I showed her the picture and it came out perfect. They only reason i didn't give 5 stars was because they are a little too thick and she didn't file underneath the nail after it was all done. Which is a nice last step that I wish wasn't overlooked. The pedicure was perfect. I broke my toe a month ago and told her to be careful and she was. She also got a ton of dead skin and really took her time to get it all. I unfortunately have to warn people from this nail salon, for so many reasons. First off I work in the beauty industry so I've learned about cleanliness, sanitation and disinfection. Vicky the main and only nail tech has been doing not only my nails/feet but my daughters and nieces nails too for a couple years now, but lately her work has gone sloppy and isn't cleaning her implements properly. I've been getting multiple infections on my toes to the point where I needed antibiotics, I ended up getting fungus on my fingers nails and worst off my four-year-old niece ended up getting fungus on her nails and now her nails are completely coming off. Normally I try to enjoy my pedi but I was just watching them and noticed they have been charging me the deluxe pedicure with callus removal and they use cuticle lotion in place of the callus remover, so I've been been overpaying all this time!!!! when I asked vicky she denied everything, denies that she's gave me and my niece fungus, when I can tell to clean her tools she says she does , but she jumps from client to client without any cleaning. she now blocked me and it's time everyone is aware before they get service here! My 14 year old daughter had a nails done, the most expensive one of course. The Gradiate -fade on acyrillic, when done my daughter complain that it look two-tone and not fading into other color. Person who did the nails said they look ok and that's how they it suppose to be. When I found out about the job they did and after paying $45 and $5 tip. I called and ask if she could come back in and they could fix it. They said I would have to pay them $35 to redo them. I feel I shouldn't have to pay them anything, if they provided good service they would do it right the first time, if not fix it to there expense. They lost us as customers. read more

Lovely's is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. It is not a large nail salon and it is quiet and relaxing unlike some nail salons that are loud and a lot of chatty staff. Reservations are required unless you get lucky but I haven't been. Give them a try, Oh and I guess I should mention that they do quality work but what do I know I'm guy right. I love love love this nail salon :) have came here damn near everytime I needed my gel nails unless they were closed or I was out of town. Otherwise it's definitely my go to place :) never had any issues and if you do have some just go in there and let them know your issue and they have no problem fixing it. This place is very cute, but unprofessional. I came here for a full set of acrylic nails, and immediately I saw a red flag. When I arrived they were eating food on the desks and had their shoes off. When Vicky did my nails she filed them too much and my cuticles began to bleed. She had no cuticle oil at all and left my hands dry. Would recommend going somewhere else. REUSED A NAIL FILE! :( Some nails are thicker than others and they are not the same length. read more

Love this little hole in the wall shop of 3rd Avenue DT Chula Vista. They are always very attentive and efficient with all mani pedis.

Just a heads up: parking is limited just because it is DT Chula Vista. I started coming here because of how flexible they were with accommodating me during lunch time. Throughout the holidays, though, I noticed little things like the prices being increased slightly. Gel manicure : I pad 20. I got acrylics and it was under 40. I went for a fill a few times and it stayed at that. I got "French tip" but not actually a white tip - she painted on the nude nail color as the French tip part: I paid 45. okay... Then just yesterday, I went to get a "fill", just powder, and a "design" (which was 2-3 miniature dots on each nail). I paid: 50. So when I questioned it, she stated that it was because I got a "design". Ok, how do we go from under 40 to 50? This is when I HAD to say something. The nails were uneven, the "design" (2-3 dots on e/ nail) was sloppy - which is totally possible, btw. The second I told her I wanted the design redone and I would wait, her demeanor changed. My biggest - customer service- pet peeve is when the service provider immediately speaks in their native language after we, the client, requests a change or we call them out on their sub par work. This lady immediately started talking to the other worker in the shop in their language - it made me feel uncomfortable bc it is safe to assume they were discussing what I had just asked given her demeanor. I will not go back to this place - ever. Two of my gfs had stopped by and thankfully this lady was busy and they didn't experience how unprofessional AND greedy she prob would have been- who knows. I tipped her 10 dollars because that is what an appreciative and loyal customer could have looked like. The place is old and there is no reason why they should be charging those prices (even in this economy) when their location and establishment is in such poor condition. The lady who answers the phones is the one who does nails - she comes off as nice but when you question her work, she won't even turn around to talk about you. I started speaking my native language with two other ladies there and I could sense this woman got a bit nervous. This is when she reminded me she was "open" to making sure my nails were to my liking - hmmm, too late lady. good luck with your business. read more

I was looking for a new spot that actually did my nails the way I really wanted. Most nail places won't even add studs or different designs but I am SO glad I decided to click on this place on yelp. I decided to go in after I saw all the gorgeous designs that have been done on other people. As soon as I saw it I said yup this is my spot. I called and Vicki answered the phone and right off the bat she was just so sweet and answered all my questions assuring me she can do what I showed her. Not only that but I showed her 3 different pictures and she managed to put all those 3 on to my nails and I am so ecstatic!! They are the best I've gotten and I've been to quite a bit of places. First time here in this place but I'm giving this place a 5 star due to the fact that the lady (Florence) who did my nails has been my manicurist for years now! 5 years to be precise. She does a fantastic job; she takes her time, gives you a massage, silent usually to herself (unlike other places I been, the ladies are usually gossiping/talking out loud) and very professional. This place is never to busy theirs usally 5 ladys working, so far its been no wait time for me! ive been there 5 times now and no complaints.. and that is awesome!! This is my favorite nail shop!! Its $35 for a European pedi but so worth it! Extra massage is exactly what I need sea salt scub make u legs and feet soo soft! FYI: Best time to go is weekdays. Eyebrow/upper lip waxing is painless yes I said painless she remove every single hair. Do not spend your money here. Spent $30 for a gel manicure to have it literally ruin my nails. The gel was wet underneath and started sloughing off the next day with my actual nails attached. All of my nails have broken off past my nail bed. This place is beyond dirty and the technicians ate at their stations the entire time. The women doing my nails at first I thought had nail polish under her nails until I later realized it was DIRT. Do not waste your money here, you will pay for it later. read more

The people here are great! Nice and friendly and they take their time on you. The gel sucks. I went and had my nails done and within 2 days the gel started chipping and my nails started breaking. I went back two weeks later to get them redone in hopes this time it would be better but nope same thing. I will only come back for the European pedicure but won't get my nails done there anymore.
