Linda and Marty are great! I live in La Costa and I drive to Solana Beach whenever I have any shipping needs even though there is a Postal Annex less than a mile from my home. They are helpful and always try to get you the best rate. I often find that there are regulars who pop in just to say hi. I am a customer service person and Mail Mania is customer service at its best. Thanks Linda and Marty -hope you liked the hand dipped pretzels:) Tracy read more

I go into Mail Mania every week to pick up mail. I drive from Carlsbad because they are always so friendly and helpful there. There have been times I have been expecting something specific and they will go out of their way to call me and let me know it's arrived so I don't "waste" a drive over. Why mess with a good thing, right? read more

This is my go-to mail services establishment. The owners and employees have always taken great care with whatever I need packaged and shipped. Very thoughtful and go above and beyond to help. It's a warm, friendly place where my family back east is known and in their system, so it's always easy to print labels and get boxes shipped quickly and efficiently, with tracking info! read more

I have been patronizing this MailMania for many years and the service is always spot on. I often need documents notarized and the owners even offered to come to my location to notarize documents when I was in a bind. Family owned and concierge service keep my business and I would highly recommend this business and customer service. Thank you! read more

I went in today to send a simple package to the United Kingdom. The man in the store seemed really confused, saying that he had had difficulty sending packages to the address before. Then he looked at the address and seemed to not understand what to do. I was a long term customer of the owner from some years ago. The store smelt of curry and was disorganized. I will not be back. read more

Such nice people and honest. I usually go to Mail Mania but I was near a place in Del Mar so went in to mail a package and they told me cheapest would be $55 with USPS. I said no thank you and took it to Mail Mania where the same package was $34 USPS. I love this little shop and appreciate the owners. read more

Friendly, patient, and efficient service. The owners recently packed a piece of artwork to be shipped across the country. They were extremely accommodating and sensitive to my budget. Mail mania is my go-to for any shipping needs. Parking is easy and they are well staffed. No waiting. read more

I have recently stopped using Mail Mania after many years of business. Why? Because the new owner does not wear a mask and puts customers like me at risk. How ignorant! This used to be a great place because of Marty and Linda. But the new owner seems inexperienced and unfriendly. read more

The markup on fedex is astronimical. I was quoted $100 to send an envelope overnight and that they had a "small markup", not more than $5. I went out to my car, opened the fedex app, and the same lable was $60. They are helpful but the markup to ship things is really unacceptable. read more

Super super rude. Got mad at me because she didn't speak English and I couldn't understand her. Will never go back there.

A good place to make it your usual! They have great service, friendly, respect COVID19 rules, and very responsive. I am new in San Diego and came across this store through yelp as the closest option. I had to get my scholarship application sent out to WA urgently and got it done quickly during this pandemic. The woman made me feel comfortable when she compared and looked at the most reasonable and reliable way of sending my package. I've come across really sad and sulking service providers before but this woman was great. read more

I had 2 x documents notarized the woman working there made a mistake did not follow my instructions The document was rejected by the city When I returned to correct it she argued with me I was charged again for her error No regard for my time Not worth the Convenience read more

Missing Linda and Marty so much! They were knowledgeable, friendly, often had small gifts for my kids when we visited. The new owners don't seem to know what they're doing. I spent 30 minutes trying to explain that I needed to send something via certified mail and felt the cashier was dissuading me intentionally to spend more money on a different service. I also had a mailbox here which they just sent me an abrupt cancellation notice for. In all the pandemic panic, I'd forgotten about the renewal date. I attempted to speak with them about it, they claim they sent multiple emails (none!) and told me to come in and pay or submit payment over the phone. Disappointed to see customer service and neighborly attitude has gone with the past owners. read more

I have never had a bad thing to say about this place. There used to be a lady here with glasses and purple hair, she rocked, she knew her stuff and spoke very well. Now there seems to be a new owner who doesn't know how to work their system and can't understand English well which makes it extremely painful to try and give accurate information for shipping. I probably spent 20 minutes there trying to send to an APO and she told me I had the address wrong... went over to Postal Annex and didn't have a problem... it's worth driving over to the Vons plaza and avoiding this place. read more

Great little place! Friendly, well stocked, never too busy. Got that Mom'n'Pop feel about it. USPS, FedEx, DHL... not sure about UPS though. They've got every packing/shipping supply imaginable, do passport pictures, notarize, have PO boxes, and (I love reading their) random birthday cards, heh. Best of all, they sell these: http://www.superboxx.net/ (I got 5 for about $15... Perfect for students and ex-students!) read more

Love this place ! Nice people who go out of their way to be helpful. Super friendly and gave the cheapest shipping rate possible..

I have been a customer and mail box renter for 10 years. The previous owner, Marty and his employee Linda made this place fun. They ran it very efficiently too. I was just told by the current owner that I needed to go to the post office to have my mail forwarded to my new location. I tried to explain that USPS doesn't forward from a commercial mail service, ever. I visited the PO in Encinitas and spoke with the supervisor today. Any mail that comes after my box expires has to be forwarded by Mail Mania. The owner refuses to listen or learn. Unfortunately any mail that slips through will be sent back to sender. I'm sure this had been a difficult year for a new business but pretending you know everything and being very rude is unacceptable. Good luck.....you'll be out of business soon. read more

Mail Mania's the best. I have had a business mail box there for years and have been able to count on Linda and Marty for a variety of services throughout that time. I highly recommend them. read more

Just left this location. I use them intermittently as my office is close by. Was very unhappy as I made it clear I needed to get back to work and asked if I could drop off a FedEx item and a receipt but the service person refused even though the client who he was helping with a notarization said it was OK. I didn't get his name but he was rigid, inflexible and unfriendly. read more

I live in Leucadia and was in the area and needed to send a package out. I wish I got the lady's name, but she was so friendly and helpful! She made everything easy and quick but I was in no rush since she was so cool! I even thought that I forgot my wallet and she was willing to send my package anyway since it had been processed already. Luckily I figured it out and was able to pay for it. I definitely recommend this place and would even drive there in the future to mail my packages. :-) read more

Every time I go in here I'm always treated rudely. I walked in and was immediately snapped at. I walked right out. I won't be back even if it's convenient. I'll go to the post office down the street. They are way more friendly. read more

I have using this place for years. Love the quick and simple shipping process. Linda is great and is very friendly. Also they are happy to take prepaid packages (returns etc.) It has a nice home town, mom and pop feel. read more

The people that work here are wonderful! They are always so helpful and friendly. The pricing is WAY more affordable than Postal Annex.

Linda is awesome!! So helpful, and was able to give the best deal on a complicated shipping request (multiple boxes, a cooler, laptop, and guitar). Definitely returning in the future!! read more

Linda and Marty are lifesavers! No matter how big or small the job, no matter what or where you are shipping, Mail Mania has you covered. Linda can safely pack any item by customizing a box to fit your specific needs so there is never a concern that your package will arrive damaged. Mail Mania will find the most cost efficient way to ship any where in the world. They are truly experts! In addition to covering all your shipping needs, they sell postage stamps and greeting cards, make copies, fax, scan, shred and notarize documents. I've had a mailbox rental at Mail Mania for seven years and would never go back to USPS delivery. They collect my mail and packages, alerting me via email when I have a delivery - no more packages left by my door. Bottom line... Mail Mania helps me run my business (and my life) more efficiently. read more
