If you want to really get your hands on their cinnamon rolls (and any of their other delicious pastries), you absolutely have to get to their location early at or before 6:00 AM and wait in line for them to open at 7:00 AM. The staff will take coffee and drink orders while you are sitting or standing around. For my first attempt, I saw there was already a huge long line that was wrapping around near the sidewalk so I gave up knowing that it might take 1 hour or more just to get to the front of the line and even then, no guarantees they would have anything left given just how popular these cinnamon rolls are! Sometimes I don't quite understand the hype but it is what it is. On my second attempt, yes I did make it to their location by 5:50 AM, found parking at their small on-site lot and yes there was already a line out the door but at that time I think it seemed more manageable and I liked my chances of getting my hands on their aforementioned large delicious cinnamon roll. And just like that, more and more people started showing up and the staff at one point had to curve the line so it wasn't overflowing onto the sidewalk. There are lots of wonderful bible verses on the interior walls which made for wonderful vibes. The staff and owners are absolutely wonderful and the wait was ultimately worth it. When it was all said and done, yes I definitely loved the large cinnamon roll! It's all made from scratch. I think this should be on the Guinness Book of World Records for largest cinnamon roll. Would I go again during the next time I am in Maui? Maybe and ultimately it would come down to which region I am staying in. If I'm already staying in West Maui, yes it would be more worthwhile instead of driving all the way from places like Kihei in South Maui (that's like a 40+ minute drive one-way).

This month we find ourselves in Lake Tahoe for vacation. We ate pizza at Jiffy's Pizza in North Tahoe and it reminded us of Prison Street Pizza in Lahaina. Still, it was super convenient for grabbing a quick meal or snacks while on vacation. I definitely miss having their poke so close by!
