We ordered the Mopsy's Kahlua Pork, the Pele Pesto, and a classic cheese flatbread. Every flatbread came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The crust was excellent, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. If you're looking for a casual spot with great food and a relaxed atmosphere in Pāʻia, this is definitely worth a visit. The inside is spacious and welcoming, and even on a busy night we only waited about 20 minutes for a table for two. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home, contributing to the nice lively atmosphere that made the whole experience even better! 4.5/5 Salad was great and showcased the freshness of local ingredients! You could really taste the fresh papaya, cucumber, and other produce from local farms. The dressing was nice and complementary without being overpowering, letting the quality of the ingredients shine through. 5/5 Flatbread (half Pele Pesto and half special which was elote inspired) was honestly perfect! The thin crust had just enough cheese and sauce to taste it without overwhelming the base. The olives paired perfectly with the pizza, and you can tell their sauces in general are really good given how the crema for the elote special was on point. I'm so glad they were able to accommodate half and half easily for the smaller size, and it was still substantial enough to be satisfying! 4/5 Warmed Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream was nothing special on its own, but it just felt so nice to end the meal that way. It was a very homely dessert that provided the perfect comfort food finish to an amazing meal. Maybe we were really hungry at the end of the Hana drive, but it was just amazing altogether, both the food and the experience! The place was packed and quite loud. Seating was a bit uncomfortable--the table behind us was very close, leaving my husband with very little space, and he unfortunately had to stand for most of the time. That said, our server was amazing! He gave us a heads-up that the food would take about 45 minutes and smartly suggested ordering a larger pizza upfront to avoid waiting again later. He was absolutely right. The pizzas are thin-crusted, and for a party of three, a large pizza was just right--even though we initially thought we weren't that hungry. Now, onto the food--absolutely amazing! I loved the corn pizza with chipotle sauce on top; it was so delicious. What a great hidden gem for a quick trip out to see turtles & watch some surfing. This is such a cute, rustic spot that fits the vibe of Paia so well. On our way back from the black sand beach headed to Lahaina, this place was a perfect rest stop to catch our breath after the road to Hana and having a bite. There is a public parking nearby just a few mins walk. This place is very cozy and has a local feel to it. We were sat pretty quick in the back room that is a bit warm but since it was nighttime it was fine. We had to cold beers that were really good and ordered 2 pizzas. One of the pizzas was a veggie one from their daily specials that was delicious! The second one was a pizza with pork and Maui gold pineapple that we LOVED! Being originally from New England, we were pleasantly surprised to find a Flatbread Company restaurant on Maui. Our waitress, who was by far the best we've had since arriving, confirmed that it was indeed the same owner. We started with the Paia Salad made with fresh mesclun from Lapa Au Farm, sweet leaf lettuces from Oko A Farm, kale from Kuma Farm, green papaya from Ono Farms, carrots from Oko A Farm, toasted sesame seeds, local organic cucumbers, and their homemade Maui pineapple vinaigrette. It was delicious, unique, and wonderfully light. After that, we enjoyed our favorite pizza, half chicken and half mushroom. January 12, 2026 and we drove from Kaanapali to do some window shopping and then have a late lunch. The maui brewing Company Coconut Porter was wonderful. The basilicious, made without alcohol (NA/non-alcohol) was really good and to make it easy on the bartender, the alcohol was simply put into a separate glass and the drink was made with soda water. One of our favorite pizza place! If you're in Paia, stop by for some good wood-fired pizza cooked in traditional clay oven. They use organic ingredients, free ranged meats and local ingredients as much as possible on their our specials! We usually get a large of the special half meat/carne and half veggie. Staff is always happy, friendly and helpful. It has a casual relaxed dining. Don't have to get dressed up. It can get warm inside especially if you're sitting by the open oven. They have bar seating and a back area option as well. The margaritas are tasty and the brownie sundae warmed in the oven is another must! You can get full or half order. We had an absolutely amazing experience at Flatbread Company. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. We arrived around 5 PM and it wasn't too busy yet, so the timing was perfect. It was our first time here, and our server was super friendly and helpful. She explained the menu simple, just pizza and salad and that was exactly what we were in the mood for. We actually heard about this place earlier during the Pineapple Tour; our guide mentioned it as a must try spot and even recommended their signature dish. That's how we ended up here, and we're so glad we did! Service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered the salad, two meals, and two alcoholic drinks, all of which were really good. To top it off, we ended with a chocolate ice cream scoop that came with frosting unexpected and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, the food was full of flavor, and the prices were pretty much in line with what we've been seeing at most restaurants in Maui. Overall, a fantastic experience. Went with a group and we decided to order a large vegan and a smaller pepperoni. The vegan was delicious, you couldn't tell it wasn't real cheese and it was full of healthy veggie toppings. Chewy base made it even better too. 10/10. The pepperoni was great too with lots of mushrooms and meat. Their organic salad was crunchy and the dressing was so light and refreshing. Staff were wonderful, friendly, fun, full of recommendations and they kept our water topped up constantly (which was just as well as I was super thirsty from a busy day). The pizza oven is right in the middle of the restaurant so you know it is handmade, using locally sourced organic ingredients, and fresh! They also support the local community and held a fund raiser for Big Brother Big Sister Maui, which is fantastic since I mentor a Little Sister. The worst service ever, the minute my husband and I walk in the hostess was rude right away. Should've been our first red flag.
