We were seated right away at 4pm on a Sunday night. Mai tais were awesome. Organic salad was special, love how they use local greens and the pineapple vinaigrette was perfect. We split the Mopsys Kalua pork flatbread, perfect texture to the crust, succulent pork, a bit of tang from the goat cheese and sweetness from the Maui pineapple. Next time we'll order extra pineapple!
Good food, came out fresh. Had to request extra sun-dried tomato as it was a little light. I love sun-dried tomato! Sausage was good . Pizza crust has nice flavor . Not too doughy. :)
Service was great, staff was very friendly. We got a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and the island chicken bacon salad. All of the ingredients are fresh and healthy and we could tell when eating too. Salad was nice and refreshing to go along with pizza. The ranch was good ~ felt like it had a garlic taste to it which I liked.
Once again our Maui trip was made complete with another visit to Flatbread Company. A big shout out to our server,Annie, who welcomed us and offered great conversation! Pizza was delicious, (we've NEVER been disappointed)and we tightly held our leftovers box as we exited. Till next year.....can't wait! As a side note--their root beer is outstanding!
Really enjoyed this spot--pizza crust was flavorful and crisp, toppings delicious. Especially liked the bbq kahlua pork! Comfortable seating, cool organic, local vibes, friendly service. Server forgot our salads and sauces, but took them off the bill and gave us cards for free salads next time when he realized the mistake.
Pizzzzzzza! This place is a cool place to eat truly yummy pizza. Literally, the AC units are delightful after a hot beach day. The vibe is relaxed and the service is too, in a good way. We had both the Mopsy with chicken and the pepperoni and pineapple (yes, we did) and it was probably the best pizza we've had in a long time. The dessert choices of lilikoi cheesecake with ice cream and the chocolate brownie with the same were the perfect sweet end to our meal.

Located near the beginning of Hana Highway close to the airport, The Flatbread Company is the perfect place to start or end your Hana drive! The inside is spacious and welcoming, and even on a busy night we only waited about 20 minutes for a table for two. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home, contributing to the nice lively atmosphere that made the whole experience even better! 4.5/5 Salad was great and showcased the freshness of local ingredients! You could really taste the fresh papaya, cucumber, and other produce from local farms. The dressing was nice and complementary without being overpowering, letting the quality of the ingredients shine through. 5/5 Flatbread (half Pele Pesto and half special which was elote inspired) was honestly perfect! The thin crust had just enough cheese and sauce to taste it without overwhelming the base. The olives paired perfectly with the pizza, and you can tell their sauces in general are really good given how the crema for the elote special was on point. I'm so glad they were able to accommodate half and half easily for the smaller size, and it was still substantial enough to be satisfying! 4/5 Warmed Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream was nothing special on its own, but it just felt so nice to end the meal that way. It was a very homely dessert that provided the perfect comfort food finish to an amazing meal. Maybe we were really hungry at the end of the Hana drive, but it was just amazing altogether, both the food and the experience! The combination of excellent service, fresh local ingredients, and creative flatbreads makes this a must-stop. Whether you're starting your Hana adventure or celebrating its completion, The Flatbread Company delivers on all fronts. I'd absolutely return every time I'm in the area!

The place was packed and quite loud. Seating was a bit uncomfortable--the table behind us was very close, leaving my husband with very little space, and he unfortunately had to stand for most of the time. That said, our server was amazing! He gave us a heads-up that the food would take about 45 minutes and smartly suggested ordering a larger pizza upfront to avoid waiting again later. He was absolutely right. The pizzas are thin-crusted, and for a party of three, a large pizza was just right--even though we initially thought we weren't that hungry. Now, onto the food--absolutely amazing! I loved the corn pizza with chipotle sauce on top; it was so delicious. The mushroom pizza was also very good We truly enjoyed the food and highly recommend this place for it. We ended the meal with dessert: a warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. It was perfectly baked and tasted fantastic with the ice cream--a perfect ending to a great meal!
I don't give out many fives but flatbread company sure deserves it. This pizza simply hit the spot. We returned here for a second night it was so delish. We tried so many varieties but the fan favorite was a special-- the jalapeño popper pizza-- ask for it if you can! Salad is great and light. Fun cute place with hearth/pizza oven in the middle so you can watch. Perfect chill night place and service was fast!

This place is an absolute gem, the kind you don't need a pirate map to find. The pizza? Out-of-this-world. I'm talking "did-an-Italian-grandma-team-up-with-a-Hawaiian-fire-god?" good. Fresh, flavorful, and crafted with so much love you can practically hear it whisper "Aloha" before you take a bite. And then there's Zack -- Warm, attentive, genuinely kind... pretty sure he could teach a masterclass in hospitality. He didn't just go above and beyond; he practically teleported into the "legendary service" zone. Zack, thanks a million -- you officially leveled up our entire meal. On our way back from the black sand beach headed to Lahaina, this place was a perfect rest stop to catch our breath after the road to Hana and having a bite. There is a public parking nearby just a few mins walk. This place is very cozy and has a local feel to it. We were sat pretty quick in the back room that is a bit warm but since it was nighttime it was fine. We had to cold beers that were really good and ordered 2 pizzas. One of the pizzas was a veggie one from their daily specials that was delicious! The second one was a pizza with pork and Maui gold pineapple that we LOVED! For dessert we had this delicious banana bread with vanilla ice-cream. If you are in town and feel like pizza, you have to check this place out.

We had a great experience at Flatbread Company in Pāʻia during our trip to Maui. We stopped in on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised that there was no wait to be seated. We ordered the Mopsy's Kahlua Pork, the Pele Pesto, and a classic cheese flatbread. Every flatbread came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The crust was excellent, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. If you're looking for a casual spot with great food and a relaxed atmosphere in Pāʻia, this is definitely worth a visit. We'd happily come back the next time we're on Maui. read more

It has a great, relaxed vibe, though expect a brief wait since the food is so popular. Being originally from New England, we were pleasantly surprised to find a Flatbread Company restaurant on Maui. Our waitress, who was by far the best we've had since arriving, confirmed that it was indeed the same owner. We started with the Paia Salad made with fresh mesclun from Lapa Au Farm, sweet leaf lettuces from Oko A Farm, kale from Kuma Farm, green papaya from Ono Farms, carrots from Oko A Farm, toasted sesame seeds, local organic cucumbers, and their homemade Maui pineapple vinaigrette. It was delicious, unique, and wonderfully light. After that, we enjoyed our favorite pizza, half chicken and half mushroom. We love that the food is farm to table and that Flatbread is so closely connected with local farms and producers. A fantastic restaurant with a funky vibe! 10/10 experience. Great music, pizza was fantastic, some of the best i've ever had to be honest. My boyfriend loved his also. Drinks were great, highly recommend the "Basilicious" very refreshing after a long day. The pork pizza was SO GOOD. Our server David O. was awesome as well, super helpful and accommodating, I saw him making our drinks too so props to him! If I come back to Maui I will definitely be back here. read more

What a great hidden gem for a quick trip out to see turtles & watch some surfing. This is such a cute, rustic spot that fits the vibe of Paia so well. The flatbreads were all so unique in ingredients and the ones we had were out of this world delicious. The kalua pork (but with chicken) was amazing, a must have! Excellent service & fair prices even compared to main land. Would definitely go out of our way for this place next time we're in Maui! read more

Flatbread Pizza in Paia is one of our favorite pizza places in the world, they have this massive wood fire pizza oven and use some of the freshest ingredients available on Maui. You're greeted by the massive pizza oven as you walk in and a chunk of the restaurant is open air. They have some of the coldest drinks on the island and incredible service every time we've been here. Make it a point to come to Paia and try Flatbreads! read more

We came for an early lunch while exploring Paia. Was a recommendation from a friend and so glad we visited. Since we were early, we were seated immediately. We started with a couple cocktails and we each ordered a pizza since I don't like cheese on mine. Pizzas were delicious! We did a build your own but it was a tough choice based on the menu options. Our server was super friendly too and gave us some recommendations of things to check out around the area. Would definitely return! read more

It has been almost 18 years since we last had the pleasure to visited Flatbread and back then it set the bar for the best pizza and I am happy to say it still is the best pizza today! The restaurant hasn't changed much, it still has the local Paia ambiance, warm colors and simple decor with an open kitchen, bar seating and plenty of table seating. The service is relaxed, friendly, they know their pizzas and you never rushed. The menu is simple pizza and salads and nothing else but that is all you need. These pizzas are nothing short of amazing, they are fresh, made with love and care and you can taste it in every bit. The pizzas have a unique flavor that is hard to explain and nothing I have ever had before. They even make their own ranch that is so amazing it is hard to put into words. If you enjoy pizza and visit Maui without stopping by Flatbread you have robbed yourself of one of the true pleasures of this island. 18 years later and Flatbread still is the holy grail of piazza and I love it!!! read more

January 12, 2026 and we drove from Kaanapali to do some window shopping and then have a late lunch. The maui brewing Company Coconut Porter was wonderful. The basilicious, made without alcohol (NA/non-alcohol) was really good and to make it easy on the bartender, the alcohol was simply put into a separate glass and the drink was made with soda water. We throughly enjoyed the "our maple syrup fennel flatbread." we have to admit it is our absolute favorite offering. We truly look forward to returning! read more

One of our favorite pizza place! If you're in Paia, stop by for some good wood-fired pizza cooked in traditional clay oven. They use organic ingredients, free ranged meats and local ingredients as much as possible on their our specials! We usually get a large of the special half meat/carne and half veggie. Staff is always happy, friendly and helpful. It has a casual relaxed dining. Don't have to get dressed up. It can get warm inside especially if you're sitting by the open oven. They have bar seating and a back area option as well. The margaritas are tasty and the brownie sundae warmed in the oven is another must! You can get full or half order. I like mine with coconut ice cream! read more

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Flatbread Company. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. We arrived around 5 PM and it wasn't too busy yet, so the timing was perfect. It was our first time here, and our server was super friendly and helpful. She explained the menu simple, just pizza and salad and that was exactly what we were in the mood for. We actually heard about this place earlier during the Pineapple Tour; our guide mentioned it as a must try spot and even recommended their signature dish. That's how we ended up here, and we're so glad we did! Service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered the salad, two meals, and two alcoholic drinks, all of which were really good. To top it off, we ended with a chocolate ice cream scoop that came with frosting unexpected and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, the food was full of flavor, and the prices were pretty much in line with what we've been seeing at most restaurants in Maui. Overall, a fantastic experience. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Maui! Parking is across the street next to the gas station. read more
Excellent pizzas but the real star of the show is their salad ! We ordered the largest sharing size of the salad which ended up being perfect for three of us. It's a casual restaurant and is great for families. Prices are fair considering it is a more touristy part of the island. read more

Big props to the pizza oven chef. Incredible job baking those pies to perfection! Also loved the unique cover art on every menu. And the walls. Had the Mopsy's Kalua Pie with chicken ~ and incredible mango BBQ sauce! Hoovered it down so quickly we had to get the carne special with tomato sauce, bacon, arugula and HOT honey. We'd been on the hunt for the best mai tai during our entire trip and we visited the Flatbread Company for our final dinner. Not only did their mai tai not disappoint, it earned high marks for us as one of the best overall during our time in Maui and Moloka'i. read more
Went with a group and we decided to order a large vegan and a smaller pepperoni. The vegan was delicious, you couldn't tell it wasn't real cheese and it was full of healthy veggie toppings. Chewy base made it even better too. 10/10. The pepperoni was great too with lots of mushrooms and meat. Their organic salad was crunchy and the dressing was so light and refreshing. Staff were wonderful, friendly, fun, full of recommendations and they kept our water topped up constantly (which was just as well as I was super thirsty from a busy day). The pizza oven is right in the middle of the restaurant so you know it is handmade, using locally sourced organic ingredients, and fresh! They also support the local community and held a fund raiser for Big Brother Big Sister Maui, which is fantastic since I mentor a Little Sister. You can't go wrong with their pizzas or the restaurant's laid back vibe, plus they are 5* all the way :) read more
Great pizza here but they get really busy. We stopped in for takeout and were told 15-20 minutes, which was totally reasonable. As we waited outside, we saw a line of people forming but didn't think too much of it since we already ordered and paid. Ended up waiting an hour for one small pizza to go which was disappointing since we spent our last sunset waiting outside the restaurant instead of enjoying the pizza by the beach like we planned. Pizza itself was great! We loved the fresh pineapples on it and the pork had good flavor. Crust was thin and crispy while still being substantial enough to hold all the toppings! I'd recommend ordering ahead of time if you know you want to try it. read more
The pizza was AMAZING! Even the cheesecake. Our waiter was an extremely pleasant human being with an awesome attitude which elevated our experience even more. Got the lilikoi cheesecake with haupia ice cream (highly recommend) and a half and half pizza. The pesto pizza was my favorite. The food was so good that I was upset when I felt full because I wanted to keep eating! Only downside was that the chairs are a bit uncomfortable but other than that, I had a great experience. Our waitress even took the extra step to ask if I preferred to pack my take out in a pizza box or foil then proceeded to pack it up for us. read more

Pretty good pizza for a lunch stop on the way back from the Road to Hana. We got a pizza to take back to our condo. The pizza was very good and the ingredients were fresh. Service was quick and friendly as well. Pizza was a little pricey. read more
