While traveling from another state I decided to order in from a hotel because this place was recommended. Word from mouth. I was excited to try them. Started off with a pretty rude man over the phone sighing every few often when I was trying to order from the Yelp menu, which is not updated, as he mentioned. After an hour waiting we received our pizza and fr ied ravioli. They sent parmesan cheese on the side but it was completely hard and the plastic container was melted. Pizza was not that delicious as the person mentioned it is their most popular pizza. Would not recommend anyone here. I gave 2 stars in hope they change some things for future traveling guests and any customer in general. read more

Magustos is everything you could want from a neighborhood bar. Consistent food, fast and friendly bartenders and a lively atmosphere. I have been here at least a dozen times and each time have been treated very well. There pizzas, wings, and burgers are all amazing, all at great prices. Probably my favorite part is that they serve food and drinks every night till 2am. I have come in late (after 1) several nights and they have never made me feel like an inconvenience. They also deliver till 2am too! The only time we had less than good food, the server could tell and they took it off the bill and apologized ver graciously, even though we were not complaining. I highly recommend this place and encourage a visit after the minturn mile or just to get away from the tourists of the Vail valley. read more

Both were decent sized and looked very good I got the blt with guacamole and fries. My husband had the Texas Burger with fries. Mine was good not a huge fan of the guacamole but it was okay. I really like the pizza here. Of the pizza's that I've tried in and surrounding Vail, Magustos has the best flavor to me, and I usually only get cheese. Amazingly, unlike most of the people who have reviewed, my pizza has never been very greasy. I enjoy the establishment itself. It has a laid back, crunchy, hometown feel. Playing pinball and video games, and having a drink while I wait for my food to arrive is perfect to me. The service can be a little hit or miss here. I've visited when they were very slow, and have had a hard time getting service, but other than that, I really enjoy this place! read more

$2 Miller high life bottles/$6 pitchers all day every day is a great deal! Food is reasonably priced too! I've tried their sweet potato fries, hummus platter, and a pizza with feta/artichoke/carmelized onion/olive/sun-dried tomato/basil. The fries were really tasty but could have used salt. Don't get the hummus- it was watery and not very flavorful. The pizza seemed to lack flavor despite having lots of delicious ingredients on it. More garlic and salt and better feta cheese would have gone a long way! Great place for a beer and some lunch, but their food would improve by a lot if they just used more seasonings! read more

Sat at The Saloon up the street for 15 minutes without even an acknowledgement. Thirsty and hungry, we left and walked to Magustos. We were concerned about their 3 star review. I don't blame the delivery guy. The food was cold, late and lacking in flavor, but it was not his fault. You could tell the food had been sitting around before he had a chance to deliver it. The chicken looked grey and tasted bland, like it wasn't fresh. Usually the food is warm. We have ordered from Magustos/The Stache in the past and the food made up for the two hour delivery times. The website is not accurate. Told that it was the old owners when I tried to order an item listed on their menu. Price was inaccurate. There is a $5 "delivery fee", which is normally not a big deal, because the food is hot and has flavor. We did go to dinner here. Parking was a nightmare. We still waited over an hour for food, but at least it was hot and flavorful- even though the waitress screwed up the order. Last time we will order delivery, we will wait for the next owners and try again. read more

Surprisingly good food for a place tucked into a one-horse mountain town. The drinks are plentiful and cheap, the atmosphere is casual but clean, and almost all the games are in good working order (some tourists from Europe got ping pong balls stuck in the foosball table - of course). I actually ordered "off-menu" and the staff was more than happy to not only oblige, but even took my suggestion to name the sandwich after me into "consideration." So next time you're at Magustos in Minturn, CO, ask for the Mountain Jack. It's a the best pulled pork sandwich in the Rockies. read more

I was a little nervous stepping into this joint after seeing the awful Yelp reviews. Alas, the peeps I was with insisted that it was hard to screw up pizza and burgers. I immediately noticed that they place was bit confusing. There was a bar area in one room where a guy was attempting to set up some stereo equipment. We were led to the back room where there was a foosball table, a table saw, a laptop computer with lots of papers on one table and then some actual dining tables. It just felt kinda weird in there. The menu was also a bit confusing. They had a bunch of fried bar food for appetizers, burgers, pizza, and Italian food for main entrees. We decided on a small Stach pizza to split and the others ordered burgers. The pizza wasn't too bad. Although, it kind of reminded me Digornio or some other thicker crust frozen pizza. The fresh jalapeno and cilantro were a nice touch. The others seemed to like their food. I tried a fried which was fine. The service was decent. I guess I was expecting it to be really, really bad and it wasn't. It definitely wasn't good either. I'll be looking for another place to eat next time I'm in Minturn. read more

This "dive bar" is situated in the cute town of Midturn. Friendly bartender and lots of games to choose from: pool, darts, foozball. Nice window seating across from the bar. Did not eat the food there that night, but there is a full Italian menu along with bar food items. read more

I would rather give zero stars. We ordered a pizza to be delivered and the staff was so rude. He called my friend a "dumb bitch". The pizza never showed up and when we called back they were just as rude and hung up on us. I have never been treated so rudely in Colorado, ever! Needless to say, we never got our pizza and we will never recommend Magustos to anyone. We will be more than happy to share our experience with all our friends. read more

PreOrdered a Burger and Fries for pick up, was told 20min. Showed up and ordered an extra side of fries.... it took an extra 43minutes to get the order. 1st - Can't tell who works there part from the people that party there. 5 different people where told to go get my food from the kitchen and everyone (but the bartender) where drinking a mix drink or taking shots. 2nd - then said they messed up and sent my order on a delivery, thanks for letting me know! I'm informed of this information after I see a pizza that was ordered 15minutes after I paid for my food! I'm sure they just forgot my order completely! 3rd - If your gonna talk about me to another customer..... "this girl is annoyed," "this girl is pissed off," do it after I leave, or somewhere where I won't hear Not 2ft to the right of me as your getting them a drink! 4th - Once I get the food, I was missing my extra side of fries, and the burger was over, over cooked! This is one of my favorite restaurants. My boyfriend lives in Redcliff (only about 15 minutes from Magustos) and we had never eaten in Minturn before. We tried Magustos and LOVED it. There was only one server who was also the bartender both nights we were there and service was amazing and fast even with one server!!! Pizza is 10/10 and appetizers as well. I have only tried the Mozzarella sticks, garlic knots (to die for) , pizza and burger. All amazing and will be coming back. In fact we have gone 3 nights in a row!!! read more

Let me start by saying that we live here, and we've been coming to Magusto's for years and have enjoyed it most of the time. We went "back" on Friday night after a not so great experience a few weeks before....but we thought we would give it another chance, We like coming here because we know the kiddos will be entertained, we can order a bunch of food for everyone to pick on and it's usually a great go to choice when we don't want to cook. Friday night was different. We let our server know that the ski ball machine was broken after putting several dollars in it....and we had to let him know 3 more times because he never asked the bartender about it like he said he would. The biggest issue was that we put in a quick order for the kids when we got there so they would be fed....and after 15-20 minutes....he came back and said he lost the ticket and needed us to order again. At this point...I was done. My 2 year old wasn't going to wait another 20 minutes or so....and HOW ON GOD'S EARTH DO YOU LOSE THE TICKET WHEN THERE WAS ONLY ONE OTHER TABLE SEATED AND THEY ALREADY HAD THEIR FOOD AND IT'S A 10 FOOT WALK TO THE KITCHEN?!?!?! (And why would it take 15 minutes to let us know that? There wasn't anybody else there besides people in the bar being taken care of by the bartender!) After a huge toddler meltdown, a bored 11 year old that couldn't play any games, hungry kids and parents...we got the bill. It was riddled with Jalapeno poppers and other crap we didn't order and was 95 dollars! He corrected it after we went over exactly what we ate with him.... Please, hire people that don't get high before work, during work or whatever. I know it's not a 5 star restaurant, but the service in the family places has gone so far downhill and none of the employees act as if they want to even be there. I'm sure there are some people out there that actually want to work and take it seriously. You lost customers that have been coming there for years and it stinks. read more

Took the family for some burgers after an ATV ride through Vail Pass. This place came recommended by the guide, so we thought we could not go wrong. They have a large assortment of burgers, and build your own. The burgers were good, fries- nothing special, but good also. What caused the poor rating is the service. We were the ONLY table in the place, and could not get drink refills, and barely saw the waiter. I finally had to go get him from the bar, and ask for the check, and a to-go box, and still waited 5 minutes on that. Hope you have a better experience! read more

Really good pizza and food overall! Not sure if it's under new ownership, but seems like the food has gotten better over the past year. Either way, bravo! Magustos has been our go-to over quarantine. My favorite is the Stache pizza-pretty much potato skins on a pizza and definitely a winner! We've also had a burger and buffalo chicken wrap from here, both good. Also, they have hush puppies!! Give em a try if you haven't. One of the better pizza joints in the valley for sure. read more

New management. The pizza is good. A sort of stone baked. The toppings are fresh and excellent on the supreme but the pepperoni is weird small and floppy like hotdog slices. Not crowded and waitress is Great! Management checked on our meal with us. Friendly folks and a clean environment. No parking but local 2 hour street parking is free nearby around the corner. Well with new owners what do you expect. We have been loyal customers for a long time and with the change in owners we are so disappointed. We ordered a pizza today and had it delivered and I was pretty upset. We got a cheese pizza for $13.99 and had it delivered and we left a $5 tip (fyi we only live 2 1/2 miles away) then realized they now have a $5 delivery charge already applied. So we paid $24 for a $14 pie because they didn't say anything about a delivery charge. I also dont k ow how they are making the pizza but it tasted like it came from a convection oven from dominos and the cheese and sauce are obviously cheap. I thought magustos had the best pizza In the area but that no longer stands. And the fact we got screwed on delivery just pisses me off. They lost a good customer in us. read more
