I was desperately in need of pedicure today! I had knee surgery and I'm six weeks post-op, and my toes were in terrible shape! I was a walk-in at around 2pm and was seated right away. Had I walked in any later, they got slammed and I would have had to wait -I did have to wait about 15-20 min for the nail tech to even begin my pedicure. While I waited soaking in the pleasantly warm foot bath, I was able to contemplate getting an Ombré full set on my hands. ( I had admired another clients results in a review early in the day while looking on Yelp) Tim was my tech and he talked me into SNS rather than acrylics. Tim was funny while at the same time attentive and very particular about his work. I had no expectations since I have never experienced the SNS process, and Tim answered all of my questions. I'm thrilled with the results (though I think I would have preferred them to be a little more pink than white, but that will resolve itself when I get a fill) I do think they are a little on the pricey side. The basic no frills pedicure is $26. The ombré SNS with tips is normally $60 w/tips , but bc I originally asked for acrylic, Tim gave me $5 off. There is a lot of work required with SNS and a lot of time is spent by the tech. They aren't hurting for clientele so maybe most over look the price. Magnolia is an extremely clean and sanitary salon and I appreciate that ! The decor is beautiful as well and a choice of a beverage upon being seated is appreciated. I only gave four stars bc I'm hoping they continue to knock my socks off with the service and skills ! I will be back for sure . read more

Absolutely no. I have been in here now about 4 times. The first time I went in they kept up selling and I figured it was just because I was new. The times following they were EXTREMELY rude. They talked down about my choice in nail length and as to why I wanted to not get gel. They were lazy with the pedicure by not removing and exfoliating properly, even when I purchased the "more expensive one". This last time I went in they tried to humiliate me by saying that I wanted "a fake" type of ombré. They also spoke in a very condescending tone when speaking to me. I just wanted a fill and not to redo my entire full set that I had put on 2 weeks prior to me going on. When it came time to pay the woman tried to rip me off and keep more money for tip by not returning my money when I asked her for change. She then claimed to act confused when I said that she didn't give me back the correct amount of money and I showed her. I hadn't put the money away and she continued to say no even when I showed her and counted in front of her. She again resorted to humiliation and making a scene. I will not be going back! They charge way too much and I'm paying to be treated like garbage. read more

I'm confidently adding to the many 5 star reviews of this salon! I went early on a weekday and got right in. I'm pregnant so I was looking for a salon with good ventilation and Magnolia lived up to the great recommendation I got from other moms. Also - I tried their SNS nails for the first time (no UV light and odor free). It's a powder dipping system. Not sure I can ever go back to regular gel manicures now! Absolutely loved my nail tech Nora. Fabulous in every way!! Definitely going back after my baby comes to indulge in the generous wine bar offerings - it would have been a great mimosa morning. read more

Recently went here to get my nails done with an SNS color. The man doing my nails asked me if I partied a lot which seemed like a weird question. I blew it off figuring he was just trying to make conversation, then after a while he proceeded to directly ask me if "I was on drugs" because I wasn't talking much. At this point I was completely thrown off and felt extremely violated and upset. Not only were the staff rude but the nail service was poor. After he completed the job I realized that my nails were different lengths! They were uneven AND weren't straight at the top. I figured I might have just had a bad experience so I went back to this nail salon. Unfortunately, my nails were done poorly again. Overall rude staff and not worth the money. I will never be back here. The first couple months they were open, they did an amazing job. I guess it's because they got busy but they stopped caring about the quality of their work. I used to get SNS here but my nails always came out extremely uneven and looked horrible. The last time I went, I went with my grandma. My nail tech got up every 2 minutes to ring up customers or go help other technicians with things. It made me extremely stressed and was not the relaxing nail spa experience I expect when paying so much. It took over an hour and a half to finish my nails due to the constant interruptions. (Yes the nails came out looking horrible and uneven.) she then charged me $55 which is outrageous for the kind of service I received. my grandma, who got a pedicure, normally loves this place. This time, the technician completely forgot to massage one of her legs and rushed through putting on her polish. There were nails that were barely even halfway coated with polish. Not to mention the waxing they do. I went with my mom to get her a bikini wax and the woman used ONE stick to put the wax on her. That spreads bacteria and is extremely unhygienic and dangerous. I told my mom never to get waxed there again. Just overall the worst nail salon I've been to and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

I am no longer a fan. When I first moved to the area I got a great pedicure! A glass of wine was offered and it was relaxing The past couple times have been mediocre. Pedicure was rushed and painful. Very disappointed with my first, and most likely last, visit there. I went with 2 other ladies and they had us sit in the same section & May jumped between the 2 other ladies and then completed mine last. We received no hand massages or lotion and my $35 gel "manicure" lasted less than 20 minutes and 2 of my nails chipped the next day (I've never had that issue with gel nails)! I know they were having issues with their wifi & music not working as well as seemed to be low in staff which I can only assume is what made the nail tech scattered, but that shouldn't change how you service your customers. The interior is beautiful, but that does not make up for the lack of staff, being rushed or their much higher rates. read more

I can't say enough about this nail salon! It is rare to have a wait time, the staff is wonderful, and they offer a complimentary beverage! The atmosphere is great. If you're looking for that special gift for a friend, I would definitely consider a gift certificate from Magnolia Nails! Beware!!! Such a disappointment and costly visit to my doctor... I was looking forward to a nice relaxing pedicure with my daughter in law, as a girls day out. This experience was far from pleasant in any way. I do not believe the nail technician (Toni) knew what he was doing. He was rough, was extremely persistent I purchase other services, laughed and talked in their native language, did not set my massage chair or careless that I even knew there was that option. He proceeded to cut my big toe which bled heavily, he didn't seem to care. He felt the need to share with my daughter in law and I, his ongoing debt issues. We heard this story several time during our visit. The days following my pedicure, I tended to my sore toe. After a week, I noticed my toe was not getting any better, so made an appt. with my doctor. I was very displeased to learn from my doctor, it was infected, YES, infected from the cut he made in my toe during my pedicure. Paying for a doctor's office visit and antibiotics are not inexpensive and certainly not acceptable. Needless to say, I/We will NOT be returning to this salon. read more

Wish I could write a positive review. My 10 minute foot massage consisted of her pounding on my feet and looking away seeming totally bored. The gal that did my gel manicure was very nice however my polish peeled off in 5 days. I won't be returning after paying $90 for this. Bellagio Nails or Pica Polish are far better. read more

This place is great! Clean, trendy & staff is very friendly. Gel manicures always look great. Love that they always have mints for customers too. Only thing I'd change is that tips can only be cash or check, both of which I never have. So please change it so that tips can be left on cc's!! read more

This is a terrible place, don't waste your time coming here. First of all, the employees there are so disrespectful, especially the guys with the glasses. He did a terrible job on my nails, he cut me two times and when I asked him not to do that, he completely ignored me and didn't even apologize and even had the audacity to mutter racist remarks. Ok so this place is the nicest salon I have been to in the area. Very nicely decorated, spacious and seems clean. I just wish their prices reflected the level of service they offer rather than the fancy decor. I took my two small daughters (6) with me and they recived the $30 little divas. Both their nails look sloppy to me, and one is smudged. They just never took the time to double check and fix.The girls were perfect and sat still so not on them. As for me I felt rushed to pick a color because they wanted to start my mani at the same time. In the end it looks like it needs another coat of polish, but I felt so rushed. On my feet the gal wanted to charge me and extra $10 to apply some of the callous remover gel stuff! Crazy as every other place that is just par for the course. Only one of the gals who worked on us was very friendly. Over all it was VERY expensive, more than I have ever paid, and I felt a very mediocre experience and result. The shop is lovely and convenient, however the pros don't out weigh the cons. When a customer comes in, someone from somewhere in the salon "yells" at you, asking, "What you what?".....hate this! It would be so much more civil if there was a receptionist to do this or if someone could walk up to you and ask quietly. Whether or not you have an appointment, there is always a wait and they seem to be pros at overbooking their people. Went in yesterday for gel nails and a toe nail polish change and as my lady was filing my toenails with a "used" nail file, she severely cut the skin across both big toes, causing quite a bit of bleeding. (I'll be very lucky if I don't end up with some type of infection.) Then she evidently used the wrong type of polish, because at 11:30 last night, it still wasn't dry and looked like it was running off my nails! So I walked out with blood oozing from both toes and polish that seemed to be "falling" off! I absolutely hate to have to return today to have this corrected, but I paid for it and so I will. To sum up; horrible manners, use of some files, etc. that are not sterile, little consistency in work quality, long wait times with or without an appointment, and inability to accommodate customers.......I'm DONE, DONE, DONE! read more
