I walked in on a busy Saturday and was told they only take appointments but could fit me in a couple of hours. No biggie. I ran to do some errands and when I returned, they remembered my name. Huge plus for that. Made me feel welcome. Hands down the best manicure and pedicure I've gotten since I moved to the Charlotte area!! Clean, very thorough and the attention to detail was awesome. I will definitely be back in a couple of weeks. Thank goodness! I finally found my nail salon. My only complaint was the smell of the fumes from the acrylics but I guess I'll just have to get used to that. I'm used to going to natural nail only salons. I went into pica polish a few days ago, my sister went in about a week earlier and got a really pretty design on her nails. When I got there I was expecting something similar and even showed a picture of my sisters nails and they told me that they did not do that there. Lying to my face. I was disappointed but I continued to pick out my color. I asked for acrylics and they looked pretty good when I left (but were completely opposite from what I wanted). About 4 days later they started cracking and breaking. I am extremely dissatisfied. read more

The shop is small so it's best to make an appointment but the service is wonderful! Everyone is so friendly, it's clean and my nails are nearly perfect every time! That says a lot as I am very picky. Pica Polish is the best nail salon I have ever been to (I have been to a lot of places). They usually cost $2ish more than most places, but I assure you that it is worth it. I would recommend making an appointment, especially if you're getting more than just a mani or pedi. read more
