one star fits this place just well. i went in today around 6 pm, they were busy so i guess that's why the nail tech did such a piss poor job. she was rough, rude and impatient with me. she rushed through my entire nail process and it shows. my right index finger is so crooked it makes me laugh. i asked for coffin shape, and she gave me square. i was charged for shaping. she also asked me how long i wanted them but wouldn't let me see my nail so i didn't decided. she did. also, while comparing my two pinky nails, she accidentally cut into the left with trimming the right and just laughed about it. just awful. i wanted to leave before she even put the nail polish on but i'm not that type of person. save your money and time and go somewhere else! read more

I had a full set of acrylics done and they looked great until I tried taking them off. My natural nails are destroyed. A few almost ripped off with the acrylic. I've had them done before but not at this salon and though they messed up my natural nails from the grinding they didn't rip them off and didn't hurt half as much as these did. I wouldn't recommend the acrylics however for a manicure on your natural nail they are great. read more

Would have been 5 stars but I came in today to get a nail repaired but had to wait 15 minutes. There were 4 staff here but they only did pedicures. They open at 9:30 but nail technician didn't get here until 9:49 and only one came in. Others not here yet at almost 10am. Not good for business!!!! So disappointed. I love love this place! I have been coming here for years. I see either CQ or Steven. They both do a great job. I have gotten the article nail with the gel polish and right now I have the pink and white. I drive over 30 minutes away but they are by far the best place around! I have gotten my nails done here at Davi Nails in Denver NC 24 times per year for the last 8 years simply because I couldn't find anyone else close. I had an older lady there who did mine for a year or so and then Ronald, who did them from the time she left until my last fill-in. I have very short brittle nails an I wear very long stilletto nails most of the time. I am a licensed nail tech and ended up going to into hair and makeup so I do not do nails any longer. I understand the work it takes. As well as the details and cleanliness and sanitation requirements. Ronald's was AMAZING. I would risk the HORRID DISGUSTING "cleanliness" at this salon for his work. I've been out of town and called to set an appointment with him and they informed me quickly he wasn't working there anymore. I decided to go in anyway since I had a very important event the next day & I'm really not picky & with my anxiety I usually just appreciate what I get. I had the worst experience my life. She had me in tears when I left. I showed her a photo exactly how I like my nails and was extremely nice and understanding from the second I arrived. I told her who always did my nails and I understand the length compared to what I have, etc. she was EXTREMELY rude from the beginning. She would laugh when I told her what I had wanted and talk under her breath to the woman next to her and laugh. "Oh so you want long AND Thin and you have NO NAILS haha" she took the nail tips and glued to my nails and asked how long I wanted them and I was almost scared to talk to her at this point. I showed her the photo yet again which was shorter than I normally got literally because I was scared to ask for them too long because she was so so rude. She continued to comment on how long they were (they really weren't) and she said a lot I couldn't understand but basically "I can't tell how Im Supposed to know the length from the photo I can't see from the picture how long do you want them" the photo was extremely clear. I told her this photo shows better than I am able to tell you all I can say is medium? I'm not sure what more to say. She was loud and embarsssing to be honest. She didn't shape them. Filed the 1 inch nails at the ends completely rectangular and large and almost started to paint all within 20 minutes. I asked her to shape them and she acted like I was asking for the world. Asked how and I showed her the same photo - which wasn't even stilleto. It was a coffin shape. Simply a little tapered at the ends. I had been showing her the same photo of where Ronald did my nails and she laughed and said it was $5 extra. Sure fine if it is apparently extra to file my nails. She decided to file these completely rectangle nails completely and didn't even trim to shape them. My nails were in pain and bleeding at this point. I picked a light pink shade - I'm not even picky I swear - and it went on clear. I asked when she showed me (because she obviously knew I wanted the shade I picked which was not the same color she used) I said I needed something with a pigment in it and she picked a neon bubblegum pick and I politely asked for something closer to what I originally picked or a photo literally just any light pink and she yelled to just pick a different number and I did it was nothing like what the swatch showed but at that point I was almost in tears so I went with it. I ended up with the ugliest rectangle nails For my event and walking out nearly in tears. I will never return. I have found Ronald - who spent over an hour on my nails and was kind and understanding and the most important professional! I was scared to ask for anything from these people when I was paying them godly amounts for the worst Walmart manicure ever and I will never return I can hardly type this because of my god awful nails. I will tell you being licensed in the business, they are disgusting. Quite literally. Reusing soiled implements. Hopefully none of their prior clients had blooded diseases, from how many times they cut me with reused implements. read more

They have a very poor nail polish selection their rack of polish is no where near full and they don't have all colors. They mainly just have shades of red and pinks. I got a pedicure and there was someone's toe nail clippings in the chair. The place is very dirty. The massage chairs feel wore out. Definitely NOT a place to come a relax. It's located inside of walmart and all you hear are the cash registers. By the time I got home my nail polish was already chipping off. The staff was not friendly, didn't offer u anything thing to drink. i will NOT be back to this location. read more
