    Shrimp po' boy

Nice, open place. Very well-appointed with a bit of an old-fashioned feel. The menu was large--reminded me a bit of the Cheesecake Factory only with more upscale offerings. I had the shrimp po' boy. It was good but not a fan of soft sub rolls. My partner had the ahi tuna salad. She said her tuna had a bit of gristle throughout. All in all, I would probably go back for lunch, not dinner. Dinner prices were a bit high (but what isn't nowadays).

We decided to come here last night and had a great time! Got there and there was a bit of a line but time went fast. Took us about 20-30 minutes from the time we got there to get our table. Lots of sitting area and revamped restaurant, previously Bone Fish Macs was here if you had been there before you will see the difference. We tried the Margarita flight and great choice, very well done, spicy mango, Coconut, Blood Orange and Hibiscus Margaritas. We tried a few appetizers: truffle fries, ahi tuna nachos, wings, egg roll sampler and Bee sting pizza. All very well choices didn't take photos as you can see but trust me they were all good choices. All I can say is HUGE menu so take your time and read through it, alot of local businesses support which is great. Great atmosphere indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely coming back for a bite. Would like to try other plates. Alot of choices. Great spot for PSL area! Thanks guys!

Went to Maggie McFly's for the first time on a Friday night. Went at 4:30 and the place was already hopping. Was quoted 15-20 minutes for a table and it ended up being about 30. There were outside tables available immediately but it was a little too warm out. Sat at the bar area while waiting. There's a lot of seating at the bar and you can also order from the full menu. The menu is overwhelming, almost Cheesecake Factory-level of "how can they offer this many items" but just about everything we had was just fantastic and can't wait to go back and try other items. The Steakhouse salad was terrific (had buttermilk ranch sauce, which was good, but also their peanut sauce which was also good), the Bee Sting pizza was fantastic, and the Campfire S'mores was just fantastic and FUN. When we left (around 7PM) the place was packed and there was a long line of people waiting outside, so be sure to bring your patience with you. Overall a HUGE improvement over the former Bonefish Mac's and I'm looking forward to coming back with friends and family.

We had a ladies lunch at Maggie McFly's yesterday which was day 3 of their grand opening. There were 25 of us. Our waiter Joseph was fantastic. He took care of all of us. It took over the space that was formerly Bonefish Macs. You would not recognize the restaurant. They gutted the whole restaurant. It is bright and airy and spacious. They have sliding doors that opened to the outside patio. The patio was also revamped. They have high tops and regular tables with big umbrellas. They removed the booths that were there and added tables. The menu is huge. I had the walnut, mango and feta chicken salad. It was delicious. Everyone loved their meals. For dessert we had a 4 layer chocolate cake with chocolate sauce frosting. It was fantastic. We are all looking forward to coming back.

My parents and I decided to try this new restaurant and there were definitely some highs and lows. First off the restaurant is beautiful, it has indoor and outdoor seating. There was a line out the door just to put your name down but we only ended up waiting about 15 minutes for a table instead of 40 which was great! Our server was awesome, super attentive and answered all of our questions. Now let's get down to business... the fooood! The menu is hugeeee and definitely reminiscent of the Cheesecake Factory's novel of a menu (they even have some copycat recipes). We started off with the ahí tuna nachos which were deliciousssss - perfectly fresh and tasty! My mom had the steak frites, her steak was cooked perfectly just wished the fries were crispier. My dad had the meat cravers pizza and he ate the whole thing but just wished the pizza was left in the oven longer for a crispy crust (we're from Jersey so we have high standards when it comes to pizza). I got the coconut crusted red snapper and it just wasn't at all what I expected. I thought I was getting a whole fried red snapper that had a coconut crust like coconut shrimp. This was just a filleted fish with coconut sprinkled on top. The fish was superrrrr dry that I had to ask for lemon to drizzle on top because it came with a piña colada sauce which was sickeningly sweet. It came with rice and veggies, and the rice was also bland and dry. The vegetables were honestly the besttttt part of that whole dish. For dessert we got the six layer blackout cake to go. That cake was sooooooo good that if I didn't care about my figure I would've eaten the whole thing! Overall the menu is hugeeee and I would love to go back and try more menu items especially the appetizers. Our server also said that the burgers are a huge hit so we'll definitely be going back for round two.

Met a friend for lunch at Maggie McFly's of PSL. The place is new with a fresh modern aesthetic. We sat out side along side a huge and beautiful pond. I had the Chinese Chicken Salad it was really tasty with a generous portion of Chicken. The dressing was perfect. I returned a 2nd time and sat outside again. I'll be back again.

We thought dining this Sunday evening it would be quiet but we were wrong! 40 minute wait at 7pm which was understandable but yet we noticed so many empty tables. We scouted the bar and were able to grab some seats. First the ambiance - This place is beautiful and big! Amazing decor, leather booth seating, outside seating, fire pit outdoors etc. This town needed this hence the long lines. Food - price and portion size were appropriate. Portions were large which explains the many to-go boxes. The menu has a huge variety to satisfy your craving. I had the chicken Marsala sub w mashed potatoes which was tasty, just needed a veggie; hubby had his usual burger w bacon and truffle fries which was juicy and well-cooked, crisp fries. Service - This was the unfortunate side. For a bar this size and the level of business they receive, experienced bartenders are essential. Although there were 5 female bartenders, we waited 10 minutes for our drink and watched them doing circles all night around the bar, getting in each others way, searching for items on the opposite side of the bar, yelling to a manager over our heads for a wine key, making drinks in the crook of their arms, etc I've never seen such a group of inexperienced bartenders. Barback was also running on empty at a snails pace. I observed many people just watching and waiting for service. Please hire some experienced bartenders for the high level of business this town will consistently provide.

What a great place! Owner has brought delicious food from his CT restaurant to PSL! We finally have a place that offers exceptional food variety and sensational cocktails! From the tasteful decor, amazing fresh food, beautiful outdoor seating that's dog friendly and the staff whose here training from CT is elevating our Veranda Falls area. Oh any they offer brunch on Sundays too! Thank you from a former Glastonbury CT resident. I will be there every week!

The two of us could not finish it and also had the seared Ahi tuna- the law that comes with the tuna is a showstopper. The dish itself had to take a backseat, which is sad when the tuna should've been the star but also says a lot about that slaw. Decided to stop in for tuna stack and guacamole (that we've previously enjoyed on prior occasions). Seemed odd that on a Thursday evening at 6pm the hostess asked if we had reservations. That should have tipped us off that things were different. The bar was full and the very loud. Our server didn't know what fish was on the special for the evening. We weren't enticed, so we went with our original order. Then the disappointment set in; the tuna stack was literally have the size of the ones we've had there. The mango salsa layer wasn't salsa it was bland chopped mango. The bottom layer of guac was about an inch and the chop tuna was light pink to white (at best). Needless to say the "shareable" lasted about three bites each for two people. Regretfully, we ordered the guacamole that was also disappointing. The portion was smaller than before and lacked flavor (seasoning). A few nuggets of corn topper and no cheese (as described on the menu). That "shareable" comes with a salsa that was the coup de grâce of disappointment; it was runny and lacked any semblance of chopped vegetables. It literally tasted like spaghetti sauce and not the good type. We pulled up our Yelp review from last year and sure enough the portions are not even close in terms of size or presentation. We showed the server our pics from last year's Yelp post and she said that she's never had that order. She gave the chef our feedback. Later on she came back and said the chef acknowledged the "salsa" consistency. He offered to make a fresh batch... our plates were gone by that time and we weren't about to take that offer. The grand finale ended with the check being delivered and our server telling us "an automatic 18% service fee is added to the check"... my wife and I looked at each other with utter disgust. We wasted $47 on two awful shareables and one unsweetened tea. It's sad to see yet another restaurant go down the drain so quickly. It seems like PSC went under new management and lost their kitchen and serving staff. Uploading a new pic of the "soupy salsa" to compare with what we previously had

The duck pin bowling area is relative small which is strange based on the name of the establishment. However it was fun and something different for us to try. The ball is tiny and fits in the palm of your hand. You pay per person per game which went relatively quickly so I don't think there would be a long wait if they were busy. We are long-time Kyle G patrons. This was our first time at the Fish Grill. We came on a Tuesday. Upon arrival we learned about the Tuesday happy-tizer specials. We decided to try them in lieu of ordering off the regular menu. Our intention was to try as many of the happy-tizers as we could. Maybe that was our mistake. We will never know because after such a lackluster meal, we won't return. Here is what we tried: We ordered the mussels. Small, chewy, shriveled, over seasoned. Enough said. The shrimp and crab cake reminded me of my mother's salmon croquettes....not my favorite meal as a kid growing up. 2 half-dollar size patties served with a flavorful dipping sauce. They didn't taste like crab and they didn't taste like shrimp. A pan fried paste that tasted like whatever seasoning they used. The sauce couldn't save this for me. A textural turnoff. The dragon dynamite tuna was completely forgettable. The "crispy" rice was not crispy at all, the round discs could have been small, circular cut-outs of Wonder white bread. The tuna topping was more acidic than spicy. And I'm not really sure how you can mix tuna with spicy mayo and come up with a result that actually tasted as dry as the Sahara desert. The fish tacos were fresh, well cooked and well seasoned. They were served with luke-warm fries. Please note, the fish taco is not on the half price happy-tizer menu. The Tuesday appetizer menu is exactly the same as the appetizer menu every other day of the week.... We stopped after 3 disappointing items.
