It was a slow night, food took 40 minutes, never offered a refresh of my cocktail, salad had a hair in it that was not mine. Server didn't check on us while we waited for food and never apologized for the 40 min wait. We got out as quick as possible. Hope the service turns around, and expectations are raised for staff. We want this place to succeed as a staple sports pub and hang out for the neighborhood.

We should have ordered two servings to share but found it harder than expected to pin our waiter down on the size of a single order. Another quibble was the service. Initially, our bartender took care of everything and she was outstanding. She handed off to a younger male server who was fairly inattentive unless we gestured for him. Then again, other patrons were ordering more drinks by the single rather than a round, so it was a busy day. They and their sister restaurant Mulligan's both charge a service fee for credit cards, so be ready for that nick. But, all in all, I could not have envisioned a better experience for what we had in mind. Definitely a keeper that has a good blend between restaurant and bar atmosphere. Highly recommended! P.S. She stayed at that table for at least 5 minutes which feels like forever when you're waiting for something. We went several times in the first several months after they opened and loved it. We went a few months ago and the service was bad, but we were hoping it was just a bad night so we decided to give them another chance. It was even worse. We will not be going back and I don't think it's going to stay in business if this is how it's being run.

I ordered a 4 inch essentially vegetarian sandwich. They have 4"-8" and 12" subs available and lots of choices-with unique names -mine was called "the Griefo" along with a make your own option. My sandwich had a couple of different types of lettuce, along with cucumber, red onion, and dill pickles (I requested) on a jalapeño cream cheese base. I was given a stand with the picture on it, and was advised the sandwich would be brought to me . After ordering my sandwich, I stepped across to the bar where I chose to sit on the outside barstools. The bar seating was quite full, but it was a beautiful day with a healthy breeze, so I was quite comfortable. The young lady behind the bar was very prompt in coming by to ask me if I would like a beverage and so I ordered a strawberry margarita. (a note.: they do not have frozen drinks at this time). She advised me it was the first time she had made a strawberry Version Of a margarita-but she did a great job and it was on point!!! shortly I was served my sandwich. (I didn't mention that there are options for bread for your sandwich, and I chose the herb and garlic.) I don't know where they get their bread, but it's delicious. I was told the sandwiches would be ready in about 15 minutes so when I hung up I proceeded to get ready and drove over there. There is a separate area for to go orders so that is where I went. The young lady who was helping me couldn't find my order, but then I thought to tell her I phoned it in and they kept those orders in a different area up by the cash register. Sure enough there it was ready and waiting. The 8" White Widow was made exactly as requested. My son said the chicken breast in the sandwich had the best seasoning and flavor he had ever had. Next was the 4 inch Pacific blue which is a tuna melt(fresh tuna salad with cheddar cheese) and toasted too perfection. It also had to be altered, but was made just as requested. I had ordered the Griefo w/jalapeño cream cheese along with all the veggies-asked for pickles to be added, which they were! We had ordered one of the desserts, a "Gooball" which was similar to a rice crispy, treat with peanut butter, added and shaped into a ball.... how could that not be delicious???? We were more than satisfied with our sandwiches and divided up the Gooball so we all could have a taste. The perfect bite of sweetness at the end of a meal.!! We can't wait to experience their food again!!
