Mad Eats is newish to Owasso and Ive wanted to enjoy it for weeks now and finally got to today with my son. The menu is classic comfort foods with a California twist. The presentation BEAUTIFULLY TEMPTING to the eyes beyond that two stars. I gave a FULL Star for our incredible waitress. Seriously my pancakes tasted previously frozen then heated on the grill with butter flavored oil. Not sure what the green salsa was suppose to taste like but it was neither spicy nor a burst of citrus. The nacho chips where more pita chips than crisps and the lime creme lacked depth to be so lavishly drizzled all over our nachos. However I believe had the sausage not been overly chopped amd cooked into something akin to bacon bits it may have been a full star on its own. What I can tell you is the portions are generous, not buffet on a plate, just enough to match the reasonable menu prices. Get the carafe of mimosas yuuum. Now my final reason for 2 stars, we all had bathroom issues following our meal, like an hour maybe later. I barely made it out the restaurant. read more

Fun brunch! The food is delicious and the drinks are yummy. I love that Owasso has a unique fun restaurant like this.

We tried this place out a few weeks ago and loved it. The street corn queso was amazing and came with thick homemade chips for. They're Caprese sandwich was decent but pretty reminiscent of most restaurant grilled cheeses I've had. I look forward to trying their street tacos next time. For dessert we split a "Goonies Never Say Die" shake which was a perfect thickness for a shake (not too thick to drink from a straw and not runny like a protein shake). read more

I had a good time eating at mad eats. I sat at the bar and it was a little chaotic. It was next to the kitchen so it was loud but I didn't mind. I had the bonuts and they were really good. They were the only thing I had but the other foods were really good. If you don't like loud noise you probably should sit at a booth instead of a bar. But even though it was loud, I still had a great time. read more

Five of us had lunch here today - all five meals were excellent! I really enjoyed my stuffed French toast with the wonderful chipotle raspberry sause, which I only ate half of in order to save room for an awesome "Goonies Never Say Die Shake" (which we split three ways). Lastly we were given a piece of coconut cream pie to try. Best pie EVER! Other dishes ordered at our table were the Asian chicken salad, Tuna Poke Bowl, Braised Brisket Tater Totines and the Double Double Burger - all were great! My cousins were very impressed with the generous amounts of tuna and chicken in their meals. Great food, great service, will definitely be back! read more

This would be a great place to eat if they worked on there portion sizes for some of there food, or at least lower the price for what you're getting. I paid 12 dollars for cheese cake and 16 dollars for cheese tots. Then when we went to pay they messed up the receipt 4 times we waited for them to fix it for an hour and a half. Although the gave us half off I still felt that after spending 3 hours there that our meal should have been comped. Not trying to sound ungrateful but we waited an hour and a half... for a ticket to pay... it was a terrible experience and we won't be returning. read more

This is the best restaurant I've been to in a while! Service is great, food comes out fast, everything is completely satisfactory. Very great for some brunch or even morning mimosas! Me and my boyfriend are planning on coming here every Sunday. For sure recommend coming here, worth it! read more

We ordered Mad Eats through Door Dash. Our poor driver had to wait at the restaurant for 20 minutes for our food. He told me when he arrived that half our order sat out on the counter while he was waiting and was probably cold. Our order was all standard menu items, with one request for no sauce on a particular item. They failed to meet this request and unfortunately made that entire order of tatchos inedible for that family member. The other items came correctly, but our queso was cold and congealed, had to be heated up in our microwave. And the kids meal we ordered was over cooked and dry. We did really enjoy the flavor of the tortilla chips, and the family member that ordered the monte cristo really enjoyed it. Overall I wouldn't order to go from them. Their time mgmt isn't great, and they aren't able to handle modification requests. I might try eating inside in the future, but with this being our first experience of the restaurant it's not likely. read more

Food is decent, and I am a fan of the chicken biscuit sliders! It's an app but is definitely large enough for a full meal. Would also recommend the Fizzy Lifting Drink. Finally got a chance to try Mad Eats our since the new has worn off of the place. A little wait but nothing terrible. Looking st the menu I'm thinking to myself that I will need to come back several times to try everything because everything sounded great. Sadly, I won't be going back. The appetizer was nice, the corn roasted queso. I ordered the fried chicken and biscuit for the meal. About three bites in to it I found the longest black hair I've ever seen. Needless to say I was done. The waitress apologized which was good and certainly not her fault. The manager never came to our table after stopping at several tables around us. While I had high hope for this new addition to the Redbud Distict, our first attempt at visititing Mad Eats ended in us not being seated, due to the hostesses seating multiple guests who arrived after our party. After a frustratingly lengthy wait and watching more than a dozen tables being seated ahead of us, we gave up and left. Today was our second attempt at giving the restaurant a fair shot. I took the servers suggestion and tried the "best selling" chicken and waffles. The food arrived cold, not even room temperature, and was overwhelmingly sweet. For the money, Smoke is far better quality, superior service, and an overall much better option. read more

Do not be fooled by the fancy menu items and excellent décor, this is a traditional dinner. Fancy maybe, but nothing truly exotic. But in all the best ways, they nailed a modern take on traditional eateries. The décor is attractive, the food is good and the service was even better. This place needs more improvement. My husband and I will not be comming back. The food was bland and Luke warm, also our waitress was not into her job. She was constantly gone. The dishwasher came and got our plates, she smelled like smoke, and didnt offer a very good attitude. This was my first visit there and it was amazing! We were welcomed by our server who was very sweet and checked on us very frequently and always had a good attitude. I ordered the garlic bread with tomatoes basil bisque as a starter. The bisque was creamy and the garlic bread was very cheesy ( not complaining at all) and had a nice crunch to them. We then ordered the chicken and waffle Benedict, I asked for the hollandaise sauce to be put on the side because I normally don't like hollandaise sauce. However, this one I am a HUGE fan of! They put maple in it which I was really wanting with my waffle, it was a great way to tie the eggs with the waffle and add a sweet element to the dish. I also ordered a mimosa and was quite surprised to discover a generous amount of champagne in it. Last I ordered a truffle shuffle chocolate shake to go, it had a lot of chocolate and I loved it!This shake is thinner than the shakes I'm used to getting at other places, but I believe they are putting more emphasis on the milk part of the shake. Nevertheless, it does not take away from how delicious my ENTIRE meal was. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they use plastic straws and plastic to go boxes.This is a great new addition to the Owasso area and I will definitely be back! read more

We LOVE the charred corn cheese dip and have enjoyed all our meals (except for the stuffed French toast which we were hoping was more like a monte cristo but was not)! I'm not mad at Mad Eats, I'm just really disappointed. This was our first time to eat there. We had the shrimp corndog appetizer. While very tasty, the shrimp fused to the wood stick and was very difficult to eat. The crust came off as I tried to eat it and the shrimp stayed stuck to the stick. If I were to change that, I'd leave the stick out of the equation. Next I had the stuffed french toast. On paper this sounds delicious. But the sweet cream cheese had lime or something in it and the flavors seemed to compete with one another. I did like the raspberry chipotle sauce but the sandwich should remain savory instead of sweet to compliment rather than compete. Our friend shared some Bonuts with us and they again had two flavors that did not bode well together, namely cinnamon and maple. After being really unsatisfied, we got the bill. Way too much money to pay for a meal that didn't satisfy. All in all a bad, not mad, dining experience. read more

My visit was exceedingly disappointing. First, the place was swimming in staff and tables, yet there was a 35-45 minute wait at 8:45 on a Saturday night. Staff was nice, but didn't seem particularly attentive. Also, the breakfast bar should be open seating. Most bars are. We waited for at least 30 minutes and were still sat at the bar without staff asking if that was acceptable and despite many other tables being open. The next disappointment was that the menu on the website was different than the menu we were given. I always check the menu before I go to a new place, and the item I wanted wasn't on the incomplete menu I was given. We ordered the Charred Corn Queso. The corn was not chared, and the mixture was primarily raw onion. Onion was not listed as an ingredient on the menu despite notation of other ingredients that were hardly present like cotija and cilantro. My date and I both dislike raw onion but were impressed by the tortilla chips. I ordered the Breakfast Pachos. The bacon pieces were not crispy and when the bacon was taken off the sheet pan, the cook could tell that it was underdone. Additionally, the eggs weren't seasoned and the pancake shells were severely undercooked (another table had asked for a refire). The other dish ordered was the Half-Chicken Picnic Basket. The biggest issue with this meal was that the chicken, breading, and macaroni and cheese were all way underseasoned. The chicken lacked flavor as did the macaroni. The macaroni has a promising cheese base and appealingly shaped pasta but was crying for at least some salt. The biscuits were delicious but didn't quite make up for the lackluster fried chicken. We were disappointed that the only dessert left was coconut cream pie, but this didn't detract from the overall visit as we knew how incredibly busy they had been throughout the day. Our server didn't ask how our food was despite both plates being pretty full and her lack of tables. I would love to give MADeats another chance (primarily because Owasso needs more non-chain restaurants), but I will probably wait until the kinks have been worked out. read more

We decided to go to Mad Eats finally. We got a table right away (it was like 4:30 on a Sunday) We waited a while to get our drinks and order. We got the street corn queso and it was really good! The chips are unique. They are more like pita chips (harder and thicker) than tortilla chips. I ordered the buffalo Chicken Mad Mac and it was really good! The other people in my party ordered a double double burger (just tasted like a normal burger), stuffed hashbrowns (somewhat disappointing) and a fried chicken biscuit (actually pretty tasty). We also ordered some plain tator tots and they were great! To finish off the meal we ordered a "Goonies never say die" shake and a "hey you guys" shake. They are $10 and not really worth it at all. I would recommend the pie over the shakes. The shakes are good for pictures but too thin and watery to be a proper shake. The s'mores pie we ordered was much better. All in all it was okay but very expensive. And it took a long time even though it wasn't that busy. But if you're looking for something fun and unique this is the place for you. (My overall ranking is more like a 3.5) read more

I had the stuffed hash browns and they were terrible, I couldn't finish them. I don't ever remember going to a restaurant and having worse. The hash browns tasted as if they had taken a baked potato and simply put the potato on my plate without any seasoning. I even had someone I was with try them and they agreed. I was with a group and after waiting as long as we did I didn't want to then send my food back or complain so I cannot comment on how the staff would have responded. Staff seemed great. This was my first time to mad eats and defiantly a place you need to go when in tulsa. The tuna poke bowl was AMAZING and the buffalo wings for appetizer. The milkshakes are also very good but pricey. The staff was also very kind. Overall a great experience and a super cute restaurant for anyone who wants good food. read more

My spouse and I went to this place Saturday 10/26/19 and if I could give zero stars I would. We were seated immediately however that was it. We sat for 15 minutes and our server never came to greet us nor take our drink and food order. Which was very disappointing because we really wanted to try it for our anniversary. After praying for a server and a drink we decided to go and find somewhere else. Kinda sucks because we drove almost an hour to get there since we live out of town and we specifically drove there to experience it.... very disappointed we wasted the gas and time when it was for a special occasion only to be let down and only see the table decor. read more

When I asked what the issue was they said it was because the entire restaurant ordered shakes.. there was only about 5 tables there. The servers were uneducated on the menu and couldn't even tell us what was good to eat. We drove 40 minutes to check this place out and were extremely disappointed. disappointing. i wanted to try one of their milkshakes (mostly because they are named after The Goonies references) so i got the "Goonies Never Say Die" milkshake, and it was okay. it tasted like reese's pieces. i ended up bringing 95% of it home, there was so much of it, but it was not worth the $10 i paid for it. i wasn't very hungry so i got a kid's cheeseburger , and sweet potato fries because they don't serve regular fries. even though it is a kid's burger, it was the size of a slider, which is very small, but it was very good. i ate maybe 5 fries total because they were not good at all, and i paid $7.50 for that baby meal. overall, i will likely not go back. i had to sit at the bar, unless i wanted to wait 40 minutes to be seated, and the bar stools were very uncomfortable. i'm very disappointed. read more
