5 stars for Jeff in the shoe department. You can tell he cares about his job and was very kind and friendly. I ended up finding a pair of shoes for our tuxedo's and I'm thrilled about that. However...we came to return a tuxedo jacket we purchased from the Macys.com website. We tried three different stores but they don't really carry the tuxedos so we purchased online. When it arrived, the tuxedo jacket did not have a top button. All good...our event is two weeks away... so, we were hoping to swap it out or have a new one delivered asap. The guy in the suit department...NOT helpful. He had a sale going on with a guy buying $500 worth of pants, if they're commission based, I get it do your thing...but we were second rate at best. We ended up returning the tuxedo jacket. He told us to go online and order it again instead of swapping it out there. It was more expensive when we bought it again online, we hope it will arrive in time with both buttons, but who knows.

I ordered on line and wasn't able to pickup at my local Macys so I drove to another store. I did not know where to go at the Sherman Oaks store. The vendor who was putting merch on the table was kind enough to direct me to the online pickup area. Once arrived, I waiting in line and was greeting by a wonderful staff member. This was the first time the staff opened up the box for me and validated my order. I appreciated her time of detail.

Stopped here as I was looking for some nice shoes (open toed) to go out on my Birthday night. I found a number of CLEARANCE shoes that were marked down generously. This Macy's was very busy for an early afternoon. I was glad to instantly find a lovely pair of Kenneth Cole sandals (had a slight heal) and I love. Customer Service was great, I will definitely return to this location

This is for the online pick up orders. Gotta like the option to order and pickup at your nearest Macy's to avoid those testy porch pirates. The staff working in this department are very pleasant and efficient. If you need to try on your clothes or shoes, there's a dressing room. I will definitely use this again for peace of mind.

STOCKED. Turns out my bf and I have been looking in the wrong Macy's all this time!! We never find anything at the other malls and we're huge pokemon collectors and fans! We love shopping for Pokemon Jazwares specifically and was super surprised to find a good variety at this one! Not sure if they just had stock for Black Friday or what? I guess we just never bothered checking this location since the mall itself isn't as great as say Topanga Mall. For whatever reason, the check out was hard to find?? This spot is located next to the Returns or Online Pickups so I wasn't able to check out there. Turns out since we were here on Black Friday, they just had small express checkouts around the corner lol. Overall super happy with this section and looking forward to visiting it more often.

My wife found what she needed online and had it put on hold for her! Great service at this location . Macy's always has the best value for the money .

UPDATE: Manager Rima called me today. I told Rima what happened, and she was shocked. Rima informed me that Tony is not the manager, and that I should have absolutely been able to make the exchange. Rima apologized, and is giving me the shirt with an additional 25% off of the sale price. Still expensive for a kids shirt, but I definitely appreciate the concern. Thank you Rima! My wife ordered a boys XL size yellow polo shirt online. It was too big. I went to Macy's located at 14006 Riverside Dr, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423. On November 19th 2025.. I was able to exchange the shirt for a medium size with no problem. Of course the medium size was too small. I returned to the Macy's today, November 20, 2025. The woman named Miriam was very friendly, and helpful, at the children's downstairs counter. For whatever reason, Mariam couldn't do the transaction, she called the manager. The manager's name was Tony. Tony told me to go return it at a different location in the store and come back and pay $20 extra for the same shirt, one size bigger. I repeated it to him, "so what you're telling me, is I came here yesterday and exchanged the same shirt for a smaller size with no problem. I come today, and I want one size up and you want me to pay $20 extra, Tony replied, "yes". I said, "that doesn't seem fair to me". Tony said, "that was yesterday, and this is today". I will never shop at Macy's again. I am disabled and walk with a cane and a back brace. I will never shop at Macys again!

It been awhile since I visited this Macy store inside Westfield Sherman Oaks so today was the day to finally come back. I found parking easily at the parking structure for the mall but there another private parking lot closer to Macy. I came inside the store right when the gate went up and the day after their black Friday. This Macy store is 3 floors but I only stayed on the second and third floor. They have a lot of stuff on sale because I think they are extending their black Friday sales. I looked at some Levi, Nike and Boss stuff but nothing grab my interest to where I brought something. There are many employees throughout the store and different checkout station that you can go to.

I went to Macy's looking for home accessories and stumbled upon a wide selection of sofas and other furniture. I was honestly so surprised at how much stuff they had and how helpful and knowledgeable the sales associates were, mainly Reza! I've been shopping for a sofa for a while now since we moved into our new house and I was so surprised to find such great options for such great prices at my local department store. Next time I will need to bring my husband with me to check out the couches himself but we will be back and will recommend macys for any furniture needs!

I had a little time and was looking for a cute lounge set to wear for work and running errands, so I asked ChatGPT for boutique recommendations in the area and Soto Sherman Oaks was one of the places suggested before I even checked Yelp or Google. That alone made me curious to stop in. First of all, this is an excellent place if you like to shop on your own without someone hovering over you the entire time; no pushy sales energy, which I personally appreciate. I was able to browse comfortably and take my time. I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for -- the cutest lounge set. They had it in black, pink, and blue, and I went with the blue one. I also picked up a pair of sunglasses and a really cute choker necklace. They have a nice selection overall -- shoes, jewelry, friendship bracelets, bags, accessories -- lots of fun pieces. The pricing is on the higher side, but the quality definitely feels better than what you'd order online. You can tell the pieces are more thoughtfully curated. The only thing I would mention is that greeting customers when they walk in makes a big difference. When I came in, no one greeted me or smiled. One of the sales associates, Michaela, walked by a couple of times and didn't acknowledge me at first, even when I smiled. It wasn't a huge deal, but it did stand out. Once I tried on a few outfits and initiated the interaction myself, she was pleasant and helpful. The other sales associate (I didn't catch her name) was also lovely. Parking was easy. I found street parking right away. Overall, I had a good experience and found some lovely pieces. If you're in the area and like discovering fun, trendy items without feeling pressured, it's worth stopping in.

I'd rethink your sales associates and maybe hire people with better customer service skills and who are approachable and helpful. People would probably want to spend their money if they had pleasant interactions with your staff.

Not you, sexy, that's for sure! Glide right past the entrance and the regularly priced merch, and home right in on the SALE shelf and racks. Honestly, at least a third of the store is on blowout sale at any given time, and if you're talented at wheedling, even regularly priced items will have a healthy percentage shaved off if your pleas come forth in the right key. Those $260 jeans suddenly only cost you $110, so now you can afford to invest in that high-yield stock portfolio you've always told yourself you'd add to your curriculum vitae. Or just buy some shoes, whatever. Right? The owner/manager is a sweet Asian woman who kind of looks mean but reveals her kindness whenever she asks you if you need help, and whenever she thoughtfully looks the other way when you realize girls' pants will fit you better than men's, if you're male but can talk with your hips and make the world come hither with your lips. The store's collection leans heavily toward young women but sways every now and then back to guys, so that there's something for everyone to add to their wardrobe. Button-up shirts with sequins and applique are available in case you're tired of being the only one of your friends who isn't living out his Entourage fantasy (btw - please say your fantasies aren't as douchey). T-shirts, too, of course, though honestly, the jeans are the only worthwhile men's item unless you want to dress like one of those people who drives a leased Audi and tells everyone that they're a music producer when they really pump yogurt for their rent money. For ladies, there's lots of dresses that will fit me. Er, you. You. So cute, and so stylish! There are hair accessories, too, but forget about buying your extensions here, because there are none. Grow it out, honey -- or buy them from a kiosk near Bloomingdale's on the other side of the mall. Oh, my good[bad]ness... These Miss Sixty's would SO fit, too. Is there any way I can cover up the "Miss" part? No? Okay, then. Get ready, world.
