I'm not sure how to post directly for sunglass hut inside Macy's, but this is for them specifically. I've bought 5 pairs of raybans in less than 2 years. A few pairs I damaged months after I purchased, so I sucked it up and paid to replace them. Last week on 4/22 I went to replace yet another pair which the store did everything to try and prevent me from getting the replacment price, but luckily I knew the exact month and year I purchased them at that location. Less than 24 hours later the lense on the brand new pair fell out. I popped the lense back in, but you could tell it wasn't in properly and it chipped the lense corner putting it back in....I go to the sunglass hut inside Macy's today and they basically told me to purchase a new pair or kick rocks....less than two years, over a thousand bucks in raybans purchased from sunglass hut and they can't even take accountability for a single pair - even when I went back within a week of purchase. Pretty sad, but you lost a loyal customer. read more

Negative star for this Macy's only because there is a Manager in the shoe department named Joseph at this specific location has a very terrible customer service. He was very mean to me today. I had to return a pair of shoes that I bought online because it hurted my feet, so I decided to return it. He accused me of wearing it before returning it. I told him I tried it on only at home because I bought it online, but never wore it outside. He would not let me return it. I can't believe this Macy's has gotten this bad. I have a feeling it's going to be close down soon with their customer service like this, I am not surprise. I think that manager Joesph needs to get fired for what he did. Carol at the MAC cosmetics counter is amazing! She was the only associate I saw in the floor and tried pleasing as many customers as quickly as possible. She took her time color matching my foundation, finding the right powder for me and giving me a few finishing touches and making me look great be for heading out. She was very polite and even asked me if it was ok to ring another customer , so they didn't have to wait around because she wanted to find my perfect shade. She did just that and made my day! From now on I will call ahead and make sure she is working, before I go in to make a purchase. read more

Went in today, November 20, to buy my mother a perfume for her birthday. I was helped out within about a minute or two. The woman who helped me was Eliana (I believe that's how you spell it). She was so helpful, she also showed me new perfume that had recently came out & had me to smell it. She also handed me a couple samples since I actually came in with a sample in hand to buy the actual perfume bottle. Thank you so Eliana, you made my experience wonderful. read more

Shoe department is very unorganized. If you want a shoe size there is no line so people tend to think they have been waiting longer than the next person. Maybe have a number dispenser system near the place where the employee goes in/out to get the shoe size. My mom asked, An employee that should would like to speak to a manager." We came in about 15 minutes before closing, and we were helped at the register by a gentleman named Dwight. We threw a big task at him of online and in-store returns (sorry) and purchases. Dwight was very polite and friendly through the entire process, which made our Macy's experience a very pleasant one. He also was thorough in making sure everything was done correctly and that the best coupon was used for our purchase. I never liked Macy's. And after today, I truly HATE Macy's. I was at the Galleria Macy's dress shopping with my sister for her Anniversary party. Found a beautiful dress there but they didn't have her size. So I asked the sales associate to locate it for me. She said they had one as of today in her size. So I waited for her to call Arden. They never answered so we zoomed over to Arden. It was about 11ish am. The store was a mess. I checked all the fitting rooms in case the dress was in the go backs area. Nope. I had 2 associates trying to help me find it, but they were useless. I even pulled up the picture on my phone. How do you not recognize something in your inventory? Plus, the dress is a bright cobalt blue and floor length. If it were in the back stock somewhere you should be able to see it hanging on the rack. I even asked if there was a better chance coming in the next morning to find it once the store has been cleaned and everything will be put back on the rounders. The associate told me no, because they have racks and racks of dresses in the back they still needed to bring out. So why the hell aren't you rolling those racks out here when there's empty rounders everywhere!? And she said she couldn't go into the back stock to check. What the???? Macy's you obviously don't know what your priority is. In order to make money, you need to sell merchandise, not keep it in the back. And there was a line at every register! The staffing was terrible and the employees were retarded. Thank you for reminding me why I love Nordys so much! read more

I don't understand why people like to shop here. The store disgusts me. It's stuffy, unorganized, and the employees are incompetent. First, I feel like I need an inhaler and detox after inhaling their lint infested air. Second, the store's decor is tacky and there are red signs everywhere. Horrible... Third, I tried to return a sweater one time. It was a christmas gift that I didn't want nor did it fit me. All tags attached and everything. A receipt isn't required because of the proof of purchase sticker. The female associate scanned the tag and looked over the garment several times before calling over her male co-worker and then told me they couldn't accept the return because the tag doesn't match the item. She said it's not a pull-over. I asked her what a pull-over is then? A SWEATER!!! She then consulted someone else and they were laughing together. You don't know me... when it comes to customer service, I DON'T PLAY! I had enough, I wanted to speak to the manager. After paging someone several times and about 10 minutes of standing around... someone finally came over. This older lady with her shirt buttoned incorrectly already looked flustered because they interrupted her bathroom break. She looked over the sweater several times, looked at the tags, looked at the register screen and then said she has to deny my return because the tag has been tampered with!? What the... and then she pointed to the return sticker being pulled off, slightly torn, and applied again. It was never like that and I said it must've been the female associate attempting to check if out the return sticker. The manager then said I'm sorry I can't accept the return, nothing I can do. I said I don't understand, how can you say there's nothing you can do. You're the manager, you have the authorization to override policy in best interest for the customer. She said what don't you understand. It just snowballed from there. I thought security was going to have to drag me out in hand-cuffs. Just kidding. But eventually she just rejected the return and pushed it back to me and gave me a phone number I can call. I did give them two stars because you can find some good deals on clearance here sometimes. I bought a couple white dress shirts for about $12 for work one time. Other than that, I will stay the hell away from Macy's. Except when I walk through this nightmare of a department store to get to Barnes and Nobles. read more

I stopped shopping at Macy*s years ago since I'm a very avid online shopper but I recently started buying from them because of their Material Girl line. I am a huge Madonna fan since I was little because of my mom. Anyway, I came to Macy*s because I wanted a palette from Benefit that Sephora sold out of. Came here, they had tons of palettes in stock. I was shocked. They had their huge Benefit counter and also another area where they sold a few Benefit counters. So, I wanted to go look at Clinique, Chanel, and Yves Saint Laurent. I usually never put skin care on hold but Clinique's was selling their even skin tone moisturizer for $50 which was a super small container too. Sadly, I walked away to Chanel. I ended up getting a powder and since their was no sales associate for Chanel, the woman that worked at the Clinique helped us. She was petite and super pretty, I really admired her make-up! I told her that I wanted to get a palette from Benefit and she told me to go get it but the sales associate that worked the various brands of make-up was a total b*tch and told me that she needed the commission or whatever. So I told the woman that helped me over at Chanel and she went and got it right for me. Ok, if you want the commission so bad, don't be a bitch about it. Otherwise, you won't get it anyway. I left with a Chanel powder and Benefit palette. I'm happy. Later, I went to go check out the Material Girl line since I didn't buy too many stuff when it first came out. And bam! Everything is 50% off, and less or more off original, it was exciting. I think I got about 5-10 items, don't feel like looking right now but the clothes are already cheaply priced but they're even more cheap now, which is great because their clothes are actually good quality. I prefer buying the Material Girl brand than shopping at Forever 21 because their clothes are straight up costumes. They're disposable.. so I've been boycotting Forever 21 for the longest time now. read more

I am definitely a fan of Macys. This location not so much. I can never find anyone to help me. The Junior department is always a mess and the line to the register at this dept is horrible. They need to relocate some of the workers from the other depts to the Jr. Dept......it's the most busy one. What bugs me the most about this Macys is the lack of customer service. On one of my many trips to Macys... I had an armful of clothes waiting patiently in line to pay (at the shoes dept). The person in front of me was taking forever so I decided to take my things and go to another register. I get to the 2nd register...one person waiting in line...so cool. This should be fast. I thought wrong. When the cashier was done with that customer she told me her register is closed (I guess she was off and trying to go home) and told me to go to another register. WTF! At this point I was getting a little pissy because I've been at Macys for about 2 hours now and just wanted to pay and get out of there. I dropped all the clothes I had in my arms on the chair next the the register and walked away. LOL. Yeah I was a little dramatic but come on...I was the only one left standing in line...she could have helped me. My worse experience here. I prefer the Macys at downtown plaza. Way better and bigger. I gave them 3 stars because I like the Kate Spade pair of earrings that I bought and the lady was nice enough to find a the key for the display case. But when I was paying for it, I saw a Godiva Chocolate being sold and I told the lady to ring me up one. So she grabbed it from me and turned around and proceeded to ring the chocolate along with the pair of earrings. Then when I was done she gave me the plastic bag and I placed it in my purse. I got home and only the pair of earrings were in my purse, no sign of chocolate. read more

For bras I say come to Macy's, definitely not for lingerie because you won't find any here but what's on the mannequins. I hate the Jr Dept's 'supervisors', they're just girls who started working here right out of high school and have more attitude than you would ever wanna deal with. They usually have a good purse selection in the sale areas, I've usually gotten a great Nine West purse for $40 that'll last me 2 years. Wow, right? For clothes they're ok, for girls I recommend their own American Rag brand because they're not very expensive, they last, and they fit great. Good luck :) read more

I love Macy's but I always have a bad experience at this one. On today's visit I went to the shoe department and hung around looking at boots for about 20 minutes with out an offer for help from the staff.....and they weren't even busy. From there I headed over to the juniors department in search of jeans, no help there either. The dressing room was by far the worst part of the visit. The dressing room in the junior's section smelled of B.O. and was very stuffy. Also the staff was hanging around the front (about five girls) and discussing their love life, personally it didn't bother me but I did find it to be very unprofessional. Bought a suit online, skirt too big, called Arden Macy's (closer to my home), the uh...? associate - a female who clearly lacked communication skills, such as listening. In the course of first ascertaining if I had right department, she called me 'hon'...(I'm way past 55 and fer shure do not sound like a little kid!) I let it pass. Continued...inquiring if alternations service was available, she called me 'hon' - again! Okay, I thought, she clearly is not an aware person but I want to find out if another location has the service, so once again I continued..."Yes, hon, she answered,,,told me which location. I then screamed at her I am NOT 'hon', be respectful and hung up. I'm left wondering if Macy's associates receive sensitivity training which includes how to be respectful on the phone or on the floor. read more

I came here to find my husband some dress shirts for an upcoming wedding. I came to Macy's with a very specific idea in my head of what he wanted to wear. I looked around and couldn't really get the match of what he asked for and so I asked a guy who works there for some assistance. I had a shirt my husband said best matched the color he wanted, I brought from home, the guy at Macys acted like it was the grossest thing he had ever seen then argued the color of the shirt with me. So ordinarily I have a major love/hate relationship with Macy's. Love their stock- shoes, make-up, clothes, handbags oh my! Hate- their customer service, or lack there of. This time I was proven wrong! I wish I had the Sales Associate's name to shout from the rooftops! lol ...He went above and beyond his duties. I bought a normal grey sweatshirt and when I made the comment it was for a gift he asked if I needed a box. I said yes, he ran to the other register came back with a box and tissue paper, then proceeded to fold, scratch off the price and wrap up the present for me. Macy's Mens did well with this hire! I appreciate that he was so helpful and felt bad that in the mean time a line built up behind me. Sorry frustrated customers! This place is always a mess. I came in today with my boyfriend and we headed downstairs for the men's clothes. The cologne was so overwhelming it was hard to be down there. On top of that the only two people I could find to help us didn't really help. We had asked for short sleeve button ups that were on the nicer side and they just told us they were out of season. After reexplaining they told us a few brand names to look at. We were sent to those sections twice and didn't find a thing. When we asked a third time we told him maybe we were confused because we didn't see anything and he did offer to walk us there. All he said was "they are over there". We left and decided to visit the Macy's in DOCO because we've had positive experiences there. On our way out we stopped to look at the clearance shoes. There was barely any space between the racks and shoes were all over the place. There were way to many people there as well. read more

I wanted a suit for myself in a plus size and I found one. I love the suit but I wish their selection was wider, a lot of their best items were not to be found in my size. The person helping me (I forget her name) was an absolute gem. She helped me to narrow down my search to exactly what I was looking for and checked in on me in the dressing room to let me know her shift was ended and that another person was going to take me the rest of the way. Seriously great customer service and the suit we picked out for me looks great on me. Increase the selection a bit more and I will be the happiest camper alive! read more
