    Amazing cologne!!
    Bishop B.

This review pertains to the ground floor Women's fragrance center as well as the downstairs Men's fragrance center. I came to Macy's as I wanted to try a new cologne and buy a bottle of Bleu de Chanel, as I had tried the sample and loved it. I first went to the Women's fragrance center as a kind worker asked me what I was looking for and lead me to the fragrance workers. The women she lead me to were very rude, made me feel bad for asking questions about the cologne and seemed as if they didn't know what they were doing... and they had exceptionally terrible customer service. I was ready to buy a big bottle and they fumbled it. I tried the cologne, then decided to go downstairs to the Men's Fragrance area as I refused to help terrible, rude workers earn commission. I received amazing customer service from Maureen and her team and bought a huge bottle of Bleu de Chanel - they answered all of my questions - they truly salvaged my experience at this Macy's.

This is our Macy's of choice, now that the DOCO location will be closing in about a month. This is the perfect store for my little family. I'm able to shop for myself and my kids are able to pick their toy(s) of choosing.

Wide selection of clothing for women and plus. As well as for men. Shoes to. Good sales make it affordable!! Somewhat friendly staff. Downfall not a lot of assistance, you will be waiting for a while.

Thank u Tou! Best customer service Shoe Department ever! I see that smile behind the mask!

#THANKYOUTHURSDAY My first visit to Macy's Arden Fair Shoe Department since Covid was such a great experience. Made me so happy to have such a nice and efficient person help me find and purchase a pair of really cool summer sandals! A big shout out to Tou as well as a sincere thank you for going the extra mile in all aspects of my transactions that day! And there were quite a few:)! You have my future business for sure! Grateful.

Nothing special. But I came to the galleria in Roseville on a Saturday to try to say hi to my buddy from college that worked at The Finish Line. I asked and a worker there said no one by that name. I later found out he transferred to Fairfield one. Oh well. I tried. Nice Macy's nonetheless.

I have been coming to this Macy's since I was a baby with my grandparents and have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly, even though they are always overworked. The gentlemen who helped me today was named RC like the cola and he was so pleasant and courteous! I will keep coming here for gifts for family and friends and for myself! You gotta love getting a macy's gift card every once in awhile too :)

Macy's is a relic of an era when people did a lot more in-person shopping. I still go there on infrequent visits to the mall and always end up wandering the aisles. Occasionally, I find something I may not have been looking for, which still makes the in-person shopping experience vital to me. Less occasionally, like on my most recent trip, I encounter really helpful employees. That always deserves and update and a mention in my book. I was in the housewares section looking for an item for a chef friend for Christmas. Usually this end s with me waiting patiently at a counter for an employee to help me and, when they never show, I leave. This time a woman (wish I remember her name) materialized out of nowhere and, despite how busy they were, did a thorough job of making sure I found said item, all while being cheerful and attentive. Compare that to the automated nothing that is the service you'd get for ordering online and you can still justify the value of going down and supporting a department store. Side note: COVID-19 masks work as a great way to get through the competing and overwhelming smells of the perfume area without passing out!

I still like to check out the department stores like Macy's when I wanna buy somethings! Macy's Arden Fair is very convenient from my work or from my home. The store is showing her age as most of Macy's. Maybe I will have fewer choices by shopping in the store compared to shopping online! But I do like the feeling of buying, receiving, and bring it home right away. I can also touch and check out the labels for more information I would like to know. The Macy's Arden Fair looks old, but clean and organized very well. I can found what I want very easily most of the time. The sales reps in the store are pretty helpful too! I understand most people just want to buy online. But I hope we don't forget the stores and help to keep them around by shopping a little more at our local stores. Big or small! They do need our support!

The lady working, Summer, immediately greeted us while finishing up her chat with some other shoppers. Once they left it was only my sister Jamie and I remaining in the shop. Summer approached with the typical ice breaking questions...."how are you? What are you shopping for?" Our response "Good, thank you, we're only looking." As we were thumbing threw hangers, anything my sister touched Summer was right there to size and style her. Grabbing more than what my sister was looking at and setting up a dressing room for her. Anytime Jamie would ask me something, Summer would answer for me while piling more clothes into the dressing room Summer decided she needed. Fast forward to cashing out, Jamie ended up with 6 items, 2 of the items she was unsure of and felt pushed into getting. But figured she'll return them if needed. Three days later Jamie decides she wants to return the two items, so we head back down to Wild Poppy Co. We get there, we're at the register with the owner of Wild Poppy Co. Everything was cool until the owner pulled out a gift card. Jamie hesitated a little and asked if she could get her money back. Leaving in two days to fly back to the east coast, a gift card was not useful for her. And buying more of their product didn't sit comfortably with either of us. The owner explained their return policy (10 days to return an item and money spent on that item you will get back on a gift card) and when Jamie had shared that wasn't part of Summers conversation with us, the Owner reassured us (gaslight tf outta of us) that "Summer is usually really good at telling people the return policy." It was obvious that we both were uncomfortable in the lack of regard provided by the owner. Jamie left with a gift card to a store that neither of us, and hopefully others, will not be returning to. If mean-girls from high-school is your vibe, this is your store!
