Stopped by this location the other day to pick up a few gifts ..nothing unusual going on however I was surprised by how many people were in the store at that time of day , but hey it's the Holiday season! The store was organized pretty well, some things were out of sorts a bit , again because it's the holidays season ! The selections were ok and they had decent sale prices ! The best thing about my visit was my cashier Stefany M. , she was super friendly, which is so rare these days ! The best customer service I've had in a LONG time! While I was in line , I noticed something was wrong with the package of rhinestone handled make up brushes I was purchasing for a birthday gift , when I reached the counter and was greeted, I told her I was really disappointed.. She told me to hold on and she went over personally and looked in the area to try and find me another one ! That made me feel good , she took a little while to look around , she thought it was important that I leave the store happy and satisfied! She wasn't able to find another, however she opened the package I had and help me adjust the brushes so they were all uniformed , the package wasn't defective the brushes just needed to be readjusted. I love this Marshalls! First of the parking lot is big so I never have any issues with finding a parking spot. The store is well lit and organized. They always have great selections, especially around Christmas time. You can find so many gifts at an affordable price. The staff is always nice and very helpful as well. However, I did take off a star because they can be a bit too persistent when it comes to signing up for their rewards card. I'm not sure if it's just at this location, or if Marshalls makes their employees do it, but I shouldn't have to repeatedly say no I do not want to sign up for the card. It's awkward and uncomfortable. Overall, I highly recommend checking this location out. read more

I stepped into Marshall's today, and the store environment was clean and tidy--it was also very easy to find exactly what I was looking for. I picked up a lunch bag set (which even came with a matching food container included) that is incredibly versatile and easy to style. The bag is made of a material that is very easy to clean, and its spring-like color palette makes it the perfect accessory to pair with any casual outfit. Near the checkout area, I also discovered a stainless steel water tumbler that matches my new lunch bag perfectly; it's labeled as leak-proof, and its sky-blue color scheme coordinates beautifully with the bag--I was absolutely thrilled! I had a wonderful time shopping today, and I also want to give a shout-out to the security guard at the entrance; he was incredibly diligent and responsible. He had a cool, laid-back demeanor, and it was clear he was taking his job seriously without ever intruding on the customers' shopping experience. I'm so happy! My return was denied because the description it didn't match perfectly with the item; the ticket was still attached (never fell off) everything still in the bag! The manager Rebecca said that all their merchandise should perfectly match and the item had a different size and color! She refused to check cameras or gave me other solution and I had to keep the items because she said that there should be no mistakes en ticketing. Very frustrating and disappointing! read more

This is more of a review of the management and the tremendous pressure they put on their associates to sell these credit cards during check out. my bf was in there this afternoon and upon check out the associate asked him if he'd like to sign up for their credit card and he said no thanks, only for her to rebuttal once, and then again, and then again. and finally my bf just told her "no thanks i'm not interested on anything that's going to take a hit on my credit," and the associate blurts out "CAN YOU PLEASE GET IT!?!" prompting my bf to react in shock and attempt to leave without completing the purchase. the associate apparently was apologetic, but that is just absurd. management - is THIS what you want your associates to be doing all to get out a damn credit card? i just had to share because i'm a sales manager myself and i would NEVER want this to be the experience my team was delivering, nor the experience i would want my team to have where they're damn near begging and pleading to the point of borderline forcing the issue. please take this into consideration. read more

This is located behind the Raleys shopping center on Del Paso. Marshall stores are the same really across the board but I am really writing my review based on an employee here name Phyllis. I hope she does not take offense to this, but she is a bit older with gray hair. She was working one of the cash registers up front. She was so pleasant and smart! There were two other younger cashiers waiting to ask her questions on how to do something and she politely excused herself away from us and helped them with efficiency while maintaining pleasantries with us. Very good multi-tasker! I looked at her tag wondering if he was a manager. Surprisingly, It did not say she was. Both my husband and I walked away feeling warm fuzzies because of Phyllis. We kept talking about her during lunch. You could just feel the positive energy she gives off. What a neat person! read more

Been to this location several times since moving to Natomas 3 months ago. I have seen people steal and walk out with carts full of merch 2 times! Recently, I went in to use the fitting rooms and one of the workers gave me horrible attitude and asked me multiple times if I had any Marshalls Merchandise on me after putting the items on the rack for her to count (she claims to be a manager but I am assuming she is a team lead or something because her manager was also there). I was wearing a headband I bought at TJ Maxx a few weeks prior. She asked me repeatedly and the tone she used with me was not PROFESSIONAL! Finally I rolled my eyes and walked into a fitting room where I could hear her telling her coworker about the encounter and how I rolled my eyes at her. The manager was very nice about the whole thing and apologized on her behalf profusely. I just find it baffling that a worker can have that sort of attitude with a customer! Oh I love Marshalls, just add to my TjMaxx and Homegoods addiction because Marshalls is just another sibling of the two. Less quality than TjMaxx but better quality and selection than Ross Dress For Less. Marshalls, this particular location is very clean and organized. If you love shoes, then you need to visit this location. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with their huge show selection. I'm talking, boots, heels, slippers, sandals, etc. The winter clothing selection is very organized too. A huge plus is they also have a ton of size small which is rare at other stores. Prices? I came here hoping to find Moscow mule mugs. Before heading to kitchenware, I grabbed a few dresses to try on. The selection was ok. The fitting room did not have a sign, so I circled around looking for it because there is usually a sign. The fitting room person was attentive and had me put all my items on a rack for her to count before handing me a number. When I got to kitchenware, I was disappointed by the selection. The shelves looked empty with not very much variety. There were 2 boxes of Moscow mule mugs that came with a set of 2. One was missing a handle. One was missing a mug. Poor customer service especially when it comes to getting someone to open the bathroom.

Usually my go-to Marshalls as it's pretty clean and organized, but lately, it's been empty. Where are all the good brands at?! I will say, staff are always so friendly, which is a plus, but this place needs more items, please!! I will note that the last two times I have come, there's been shoplifters caring a pile of clothes, colognes, and they basically just walk out of the store, and none of the staff seem to care? Alarms go off, and none of the staff seem to do anything. They need security guards! read more

Clean place and friendly service. They have more selection for women's especially shoes! They have a pretty good home and bath selection. I think their towel selection is good! They have a toy section for the kids but nothing like a toys r us. They also have a small luggage area for people who are planning vacations.... The home selection is okay... Small selection of pots and pans. You can get lucky at times with name brands.... I'm a Nike guy and sometimes I can get lucky and find good Nike attire but it's rare. Their electronic section is nothing to brag about. They have a selection of ear buds and low end phone cases. Overall, it's always fun to look and walk around but usually I don't buy anything. This store can be a mess sometimes. They are out of many sizes of clothing that you see of sizes that don't fit you. Clothing and items are all left on rack tops and on the floor or just messy as they don't have people shape up the store as often as needed. However, it is MUCH better than Ross in the area. Cleaner but who isn't cleaner than Ross on Truxel? I usually can find a few bargains here but they could put more sizes and qty. of items on the clearance rack. It is usually a small section and most of the sizes are small or BIG and TALL. read more

I really like this Marshall's, it tends to be very clean, the prices are generally pretty fair and the employees seem to be in dress code, clean-cut and aren't rude. They like their jobs. With Ross and marshals and stores like these it's very hit and miss, I find that the nicer the neighborhood the nicer the store. They definitely accommodate to the typical clientele. In my neighborhood, the marshals is kept pretty decent. Most of the stores in North Natomas or kept to a higher standard I find. If there are damaged items they will work with you on cost which is nice, even had a manager who was willing to work with me on a missing strap for a very expensive purse that was on clearance markdown about 70%. She allowed me to take a matching strap from another purse and put it on mine. Talk about great customer service, really just looking to make a sale, customer is always right mentality. They do not open at 7am like the times say. They open when they feel like it which is around 9:30. I waited outside until one of the girls say they open at 9am. I much prefer the Marshalls in Citrus Heights, however this one does the job. It's Marshalls, folks. That infamous store where you go in for one thing and walk out with ten other things. The shoe section seems smaller than other stores and the Juniors section is okay. The kids clearance shoe section is non-existent! What I do like is the clearance housewares section. You never know what you will find. I had to put together a "gourmet gift basket" for work and scored: * Spreaders - They retail for $10 elsewhere * Appetizer forks - Ditto, $10 somewhere else * Melamine food tray - Shape of banana leaf; nice * Bleu cheese-stuffed olives - Tastes better than it sounds They were all $2 each in the clearance section! For clothes, shoes, handbags, kids shoes, etc. I would check out another Marshalls. read more

I like to browse at Marshall's (and T.J.Maxx). I find all the goods for the low at these places --Nike, Adidas, etc! Once in a while there are crazy good shoes! I like that this place has outfits for everyone in the family (women, men, kids, babies, even dogs!) There are also kitchen decor and home goods, plants and vases, toys, and small furniture! She should be orientated towards the customers and ask questions like who in the past has assisted you ? No instead she was very quick to say "per policy" and started to talk over me did not let me talk. This Marshalls is one of the most organized I have ever been to and is very convenient as its right around the corner. This weekend, I went in to exchange some sandals I had bought and found the cutest Franco Sarto black wedge sandals for $39.99 and picked up a few tops for $9.99 and $12.99 respectively. I probably hit Marshalls about once a month and always find something that I just have to have! I also like to browse the back of the store and have found little treasures in their knick-knacks section. read more

We go to every Marshall when we are driving through various cities to check out the potential bargains. This one is located close to the freeway and we thought why not. A lot of the stores in the area were closed and albeit this Marshall's was the spot to shop! Lots of great choices and prices. Pretty good variety of shopping and prices you can't beat. The store employees were all friendly and helpful to us as we asked for help and where the bathroom was as we were just driving through. Found a lot of deals and could not leave but had to so we don't go broke. Usually I don't find much but soon as I walked in I found a lot of stuff I didn't want to find but I did. I know a lot of people think finding stuff at Marshall's is difficult, but I always find something good! One word: clearance. I have found brand name shoes in the clearance for 10$ on a good day. :) I always find good deals on cute tops! They even sell brand name nail polishes, like Essie, for 3$ a bottle! I love coming to this place for small things (toys) to reward my kids for doing something good...and possibly visiting their godfather who works at this store (he's the manager!). The workers are definitely friendly. I wonder if it's because we are family to the manager or because they want to kill people with how kind they can be. The store is pretty clean. There were some times where the dressing rooms were a bit thrashed but then soon after one of the workers came by to clean the leftover clothes. Maybe she was psychic or just needed a break and then came by to resume her duties. Finding gear at this store is fairly simple. I usually check out the men's stuff with the hubby first since he's always looking for a new dress shirt...trying to get him to wear pink but so far it's not flying...anyway, we also check out some stuff for the boys like shirts, pants, dress pants, dress shirts since our kids grow out of their clothes so fast. Then we ultimately make our way to the wall of toys. My kids always find something but it's not such a bad thing since the toys they want seem to end up being learning toys or toys that would be more expensive at another toy store. We are a budget friendly family thank you very much so we definitely will buy toys at Marshalls especially when they are cheaper than typical retailers. Another plus is the fact that the hubby was able to find a team (49ers and Giants) hat for only $6. Great deal and it was fitted! So, come to the store, roam around, find what you need and say hi to the manager (the guy with the spiky hair). hahaha read more

I was one of the first customers this store had when it opened up a some years ago and Marshall's Natomas rocks. I think this is my favorite location of Marshall's. I don't know why, but I've always had good luck finding bargains here. Last visit, I bought a jewelry rack to organize my jewelry. $9.99. I also found a killer dress on clearance for $7 which I rocked at a birthday party. The location is fabulous as well because if you're still in shopping mode after leaving Marshall's there's a Kohl's, Target, Walmart and such nearby and tons of local places to eat. read more

We have been searching high and low for a specific size of a kid's pajama set, and although they didn't have it at this Marshalls, the manager took the time to call a bunch of other stores to check if they had it. We were ultimately unable to find what we were looking for, but we really appreciated the customer service they provided. I highly recommend this Marshalls, they are awesome! read more
