Annoyed because the manager who I spoke to today was very rude (at least I think she's a manager. She has messed up teeth, blonde hair and always wears checkered shirts. Shes always seen around the self checkouts and the customer service desk. I went to self checkout, scanned a $10 Tshirt and asked if she could please remove the sensor. She looked at me with hella attitude and said "you gotta pay for it first". Uhm yeah you B, I scanned it!! My Oder was $100, I'm not going to steal a $10 shirt. Jeezus. She straight up insinuated I was going to steal it. I was simply just asking because I've never purchased clothes at a self checkout and I wasn't sure how I was supposed to get the sensor off since the worker always does this at the regular check stands. Anyway, I was like "okay, I scanned it" and she goes "security is RIGHT there if you want me to have him come over and explain the policy to you" really, did I ask you for that? This is how you explain things to your guests? She was out of line!!, and then still walked away after she saw that I swiped my damn card and still DID NOT remove the sensor!!! read more

Target on a Saturday afternoon is a disaster. You almost always get into a car accident in their horrible parking lot. The carts are filthy dirty. Luckily, they usually have wipes so I make sure I clean my cart handles. It's funny that they have glass locks in the health aisles but just leave the doors open and unlocked. It's always hard to find someone for help because it looks like they're short staffed. Target usually has everything I need but it's such a hassle getting in and out of this location. read more

I ordered online for store pick up. The pick up service was terrible. No one was at the counter. I asked the self checkout lady and she said just get in line. Told her I was the line. I explained there is no one there. She said they are picking up another order. Repeated rather rudely that I should get in line. By the time he got back to counter there were 3 other people waiting. I told him I was here for a pick up. He said ok and started helping other customers. What? I told him when was he going to help me? The whole point of ordering online was running in and out. And why were the items all the way on other side of store? It would have been easier for me to shop. It probably would have taken less time. read more

I thought the trading cards items were 2 per person, not 2 per party. Guy at the service desk wouldn't allow me to get my own packs because my friend already bought theirs. I asked if I could get MY 2 packs and he said it was 2 per party. I am my own party. Nope. Didn't want to argue because they're just cards, but weird behavior. Target is my all time favorite store! This location is also great because it has a bunch of other restaurants and shopping places to go to so it's a one stop shop! I always find items that are sold out in other locations at this one! So order pickup is always a solid option! Dollar section/bullseye section gets bought out fast once new items hit the store so I usually have better luck at other stores. Grocery section is good, and staff is pretty nice especially if you have questions. Pretty clean in the store and easy to find things. read more

It's been two years since my last review and there's been countless visits to this Target since then. The parking is still not great, and I recommend coming in through the further entrance to avoid getting trapped. The store itself has gone through a lot of changes, mostly in the way the sections are organized. It takes a bit of getting used to, but has been fine. What has been less easy to adapt to is how many things are in cases now. If you need soap, deodorant, laundry items, etc. it's all more difficult to purchase. This is just another reason to do that sort of shopping online or at other stores like Costco. When I'm coming here for convenience the last thing I want to do is have to ping someone to help me browse. They do have a decent selection of items at this location and it's typically pretty cleaned, organized and stocked. They also have electric car charging stations in the parking lot which makes it easy to plug in and then kill some time shopping. I know some people look forward to a Target run, but it just isn't as fun as it used to be for me. read more

These 5 stars are for Valery. Shout out to you. We came maybe an hr before closing to do some quick shopping. I know later in the night before closing there's not that much customer service. We needed help looking for a juicer they had in stock but wasn't on the shelf outside. Valery was patient with us and helped us find the juicer in the back stock even though she wasn't in this section and she went out her way instead of just saying they don't have it. Love coming to my local Target for quick Target run to pick up essentials, but today was to pick up hubby's snacks. Staff are usually 95% quick, friendly and efficient! I only experienced a long wait once (30min) when I came shortly after 4PM and they had a sign saying they are usually busy between 4-7PM weekdays. I usually use the app to pick my purchases in advanced then when I'm ready, I'd drive up to an open space in their "drive up" section to get my products delivered to my car! Super efficient especially on rainy days or almost any time I don't want to deal with in store busyness or overcrowding of busy store. Most Target stores in Sacramento were updated in the last couple of years. This one in Natomas is no exception. The store looks clean and very well organized. The store is easy to navigate. All the department's layouts are logical. The prices are very competitive. However, they still have some empty shelves. Some items sold out without restocking! I like the selection of Target compared to the other big box stores. They have a good choice but are not overwhelming. The cashier at checkout is fast and polite. The Natomas Target is now under lockdown. Common items like toothpaste, allergy and pain medications, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies are now locked behind glass. This requires finding someone to open them up. Locking up these items takes away the main benefit of Target and is more harassing good customers than preventing theft. Because of this, I will shop elsewhere or order online. I've tolerated the slow decline of the Natomas Target over the years, but this decision makes it easier to finally shop elsewhere. I love Target, but I cannot believe they allow AT&T to sell services at their locations. I've always walked past outside representatives politely declining their offers about internet, cell, or cable. But at Target, I got pulled in. I was frustrated with my current provider constantly raising rates, so I decided to see what AT&T could do. The salesperson was extremely nice and very skilled at their job but misled me on several key points. They promised I'd receive over $300 in Target gift cards for switching. I only got $50, followed by an "I'm sorry" after the contract was signed. With the holidays around the corner, that was disappointing but not a dealbreaker. I honestly thought it was an oversight. Looking back I see now it was a Bold Face LIE! Then I got my first bill. The salesperson assured me it would be cheaper than my current provider--it's actually $30 more per month. They also promised there was no contract. While technically not a contract, the "free" phones we were given for switching are far from free. If I cancel before three years, I'll owe over $700 per phone. How is that not a contract? They claimed I'd get $20 off per month just for having a job--also false. I was placed on a plan that doesn't offer that benefit. They promised faster internet speeds, but it's slower than my previous service. I had to purchase a Wi-Fi booster for upstairs, which I've never needed before. When I asked about this, the installer said it's "normal with AT&T." AT&T customer service showed zero concern about the misleading information I was given. I'm shocked and saddened that this can happen so easily. It's not just about the money--it's about the principle. Companies like AT&T, and even Target (for allowing this in their stores), should hold their representatives accountable. This kind of deception could seriously hurt someone financially. A good salesperson can easily talk you into something you don't need, and it's a harsh lesson learned. Take my advice: NEVER talk to outside salespeople operating within a trusted and once-loved establishment. read more

We shop here all the time. They always have what we need. Not crazy about the fact that so many things are locked up and its hard to find someone to unlock them, but it doesn't stop us from continuing to shop here. Love the drive up option considering it gets pretty busy inside. Miss Renee is one of best employees here and we always look forward to seeing her. This is the nearest target to our home so we do drive-thru pick up often.. but today just left a bad taste in my mouth. 1. I get it that target is hiring young teenagers & I admire that but today during my pick up this red headed long hair lip pierced guy & the girl helping with him were extremely unprofessional & the red headed dude called the girl a fu**ing idiot. If I had kids and they heard that I would be LIVID. 2. Also, when I asked these two disrespectful teenagers when my next order would be ready they were not helpful at all and were rude & said they "can't check the time status" how the heck is that not possible? Came to target on a Tuesday evening for some essentials during non-peak hours. I came to grab my Face Moisturizer, which of course, was locked up in a plastic case. We hit the button to request customer service with seemingly no response, as well as flagged down 3 separate employees to request them to unlock it. The first 2 responded, "I don't have the key for this, I'll get someone else". Altogether, we had to wait just over 30 minutes just to get our single item from the locked cabinet. Which makes no sense because then you can continue to walk down towards cleaning supplies and often times they will have entire rows where they have all the cabinets unlocked and wide open, such as for laundry detergent. So much inconsistency, might as well not lock anything up at that point. Poor customer service and staffing, it appears. And this is coming from someone who used to work as a Target team member years ago. I shouldn't have to go on a Target man hunt just to access an item. And they have maybe 2 registers open so oftentimes there are long lines. read more

Have been a customer here for years and never had an issue. I chose to do drive up since I had my kids in the car. The employee who dropped off my item had a horrible attitude and accused me of parking too early and not not do it in the future. I was pulling into my spot when I selected my number. They are notorious for having slow service at drive up so my 2 seconds wasn't an issue in my opinion. Her attitude was an issue though. She needs a refresher on how to speak to people. Not sure if the heat got to her and she is on her power trip, but there was no need for her rudeness. I wish I got her name. We are extremely disappointed that we bought the wrong air pump and we went to return it the next day but couldn't because we had opened it. They would not even give us store credit. We had the receipt and the item was still in tack. Even if they didn't want to refund the value of the item, at give us store credit. This is very shady and unprofessional. 0 stars if I could. This target kicked my boyfriend and I out after an incident that occurred. Jan 9 around 7PM, we came in to grab Starbucks since the one on Truxel was closed. As we are waiting in line, another guests/or worker (didn't know if she worked there or was a customer) had cut us in line. Once we said something she became offensive. Claiming "your point is" etc. As this is escalating, and we are arguing back and forth, she said a racial slur "F**kin Asians". While there's a lot going on the world and I would expect target to be more stern with racial comments like that, things escalated even more. This lady went up to my face 2 inches away, (not social distancing or using her face mask correctly) and told me to hit her so she could press charges. (Which doesn't make any sense). Here's why I give this target a 0 stars. Security came, about 3 of them. They tried to deescalate the problem by kicking us out. Understandable. They threatened to call PD and have us arrested. Not understanding the issue at all. However from my observation they did NOT kick out this lady. She was able to still grab her drink and leave normally. I wasn't even able to get her name so I can file a police report since she practically spitting in my face while she was talking. Security handle it poorly. Unfortunately we have been loyal customers in this target, every other day we come here. We have not had any issues until today. I've have already called corporate to express how poorly we were treated. Moving forward, I myself was a target employee years ago and we never tolerated any racism. Currently I am waiting for an email from target discussing the matter. Until then, as a valued guest, target needs to retrain their employees to dispute situations better. read more

The guest services can be found to the left, as you enter - pass the restrooms. The gals working today were nice and worked fast - that a plus for me. My home Target is slowly spiraling into hell, because the increase in Walmart behavior is appalling. During my last few visits, I saw empty Starbucks cups, a couple half-eaten yogurt cups, and empty food wrappers left on the shelves. This isn't the employees' faults, obviously. Overall I had an okay experience but I had a female cashier who was bias and treated some customers better than others after watching her check a few people out before me. Also the app says it has things in stock but you can never trust it especially at this location. Why did they put the drive up spots closer to the front door than the parking for in store shoppers? They should have put the two rows for drive up services further from the main door. Especially since that is closer to where the workers who are performing these services come from. If you're not carrying a disabled parking placard, expect to walk from the parking in front of one of the neighboring stores. They have replaced most cashiers with self checkout and have locked up basic necessities. Today is the last time I shop here in person. I guess I do all of my shopping at smaller stores. I love Target but this location manages to have the worst customer service of them all. "Chris" in customer service works at a snail's pace and appears to do the bare minimum. I'm here every other day, or so it seems. For the past year I've become a huge fan of their drive up ordering. They seem to have refined and streamlined the process as well. Most of the time the stock is up to date so rarely are my items no longer available. Their in-house brands are getting better as well. My only complaint is that the store doesn't have as much inventory or it isn't as large as other target stores. Hopefully as the supply chains improve this will be less of an issue. I've only so far only had 1 bad experience with this store and it was because of an employee being rude. read more
