This HomeGoods has a good sized parking lot and there's a good variety of businesses in the same business park. They have a nice selection of seasonal items throughout the year and when we've visited they've been well stocked and the aisles are organized. The amount of items available can be overwhelming. We tend to make sure we have plenty of time to browse so we can check out all the aisles. This is our favorite spot for dog toys. They have a great selection and decent prices. read more

I stopped into HomeGoods last night to pick up some last minute Christmas gifts. This location is in Natomas, off of Truxel Road where Walmart is. I have a soft spot for HomeGoods, but I actually wasn't too impressed with this location - I felt like they did not as much as other locations or maybe they just didn't have what I was looking for. I did walk out spending $120 though so there's that. The store was organized, but everything felt crowded and cluttered - I know it's from the chaotic Christmas buzz. They still had plenty of Christmas items out. I even saw Chinese New Year items as well as Valentine's Day on the shelves! Service was nice and friendly, but I waited in line for like 15 minutes which usually isn't the norm, the line moves pretty quickly most days. read more

Home goods is one of my happy places! You can pretty much find almost anything you need for every room in your home! HomeGoods is also a great place to shop for dorm rooms, and my go to... gifts! Well, the stores are usually hit or miss depending on the time of year, this location specifically seems to be more of the hit and miss than some of the other stores that I shop at. This is the time of year to shop in HomeGoods. It is of course holiday time so stuff is stacked everywhere. The lines move pretty fast and the place was organized. The restroom was also clean as well. We found lots of decorative ornaments and of course, the quintessential mug that you must have for warm holiday drinks as well. read more

The staff at the registers were very friendly. However, I am disabled and was on my mobility scooter and could not get down several of the aisles. they had merchandise tumbled over all into the floor, such as in the rugs and towel, pillow aisles, or they have seen blocking the aisles that I could go down one way, but could not turn to go another way because both of those directions were blocked overall not very ADA compliant. I did mention it to the lady at the register and she did say she was gonna let the manager know hopefully things will be changed the next time I go there. read more

I picked a table lamp without a price tag. At the checkout, cashier immediately noticed that it was the last table lamp of that model. When asked for price they took 15 minutes to get back to me and said it's $60. When I asked the other table lamps where I found it were listed at $15-$24, she insisted it was $60. Here is photo of that same table lamp for $24.99 online. Seems like the cashier wanted to keep that lamp for herself. Why even bother putting on the shelf then? I dropped on in the morning of the very "second day" of operation. I was nearby and had time to kill. I thought I'll drop in to quickly check them out. For a weekday, the parking lot was full of shoppers. Parking spots were scarce and drivers were larking about and double parking in lanes waiting for an open spot. I think after the opening hubbub, the traffic will ease up. But once I walked in... quick I was not. I luved browsing all the aisles and the merchandise. However it was pretty crowded with shoppers. The aisles are narrow and barely have room to maneuver a cart around. As Home Goods signature, they do know how to beautifully stage their merchandise... housewares, plates, platters,glassware, etc to shout out "buy me... look at my sticker price, I'm marked down way below the retail price on my tag... buy me even though I have no useful purpose". Everything looked so pretty and spanking new. I almost bought an outdoor smiling turtle statute $19, Italian made ceramic bread basket $9, made in Italy water ceramic pitcher $10, tea cup and saucer sets in varying shades of pink and blues $5-7, and photo frames $4-9. Really helpful staff, my first time shopping this location. We had just purchased a new bed, the sheets I ordered didn't fit, so HomeGoods to the rescue, and I was certain there'd be some options to help us have a nights sleep. There were a number of Cali King options to select from, so I grabbed two and headed to check out (folks, we were exhausteddd). The cashier explained the return policy should the sheets not meet our satisfaction and I was in and about in about 15 minutes. Homegoods is the go to spot for all goods for the home ;) we're talking pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, picture frames, floor lamps, nightstands, couches, rugs... you name it Homegoods will most likely have it! Best thing is the price along with the diverse selection. I've come to find that after visiting multiple locations, this Homegoods is the most organized. Customer service is pretty nice too. This place is great. what do you need?? HomeGoods has got you!! Word to the wise, if you are in the store and you see something you like, buy it, even if you see a bazillion of them, why?? Because when you come back, it will be gone! They don't have an inventory system that will tell you how many they have or if they are getting more in. So you will be S.O.L. and you will have to call around to different stores to find this particular item. HomeGoods has everything. I mean everything. it's insane. Do you need kitchen gadgets?? Pots? Finally, HomeGoods is open in Natomas!! I've been waiting for this to open for months now!! Located between Ross and Famous Footwear in the not so crowded area of the Walmart complex. So I went to home goods looking for a couple of specific items The good people at Michael's said they might have but since this seemed to be more of a dollar tree for home decor I didn't expect much. I spotted a clerk, Susan, and when I tried to get her attention she was extremely passive and seemed to have no interest in answerinmy question. So I continued to meander through out the store and found what I was looking for, some glass canisters to build an indoor Bonsai garden to which I could enclose and create its own ecosystem. On Sept 14 2022, at approximately 715pm I went to HomeGoods located on Truxel for a Merchandise Return, due to us not having a Physical Reciept (That we misplaced) we are entitled to Store Credit per HomeGoods Policy. We purchased the comforter on Sept 13 at HomeGoods Located in Ethan Way so we went to the Nearest HomeGoods being on Truxel Rd. We spoke to the Cashier Employee who claimed to be a Manager but not wearing a name tape at the time, and discussed the above, in which she did not accept the return. It should be noted that the Comforter was Clean and in Original Condition we purchased at Ethan Way HomeGoods. The Employee first explained that we needed a Reciept, and as we were trying to locate a Virtual Reciept through email, the Employee then switched up and explained, "You need to go back to the other HomeGoods where you bought it" "The material feels different we cannot accept it." Ultimately I was very Respectful and patient but did not get the situation resolved so I decided to make the extra trip back to Ethan Way which was a huge inconvenience. Upon arrival at Ethan Way HomeGoods the Cashier easily and quickly issued us a Store Credit Card with no further issues. The situation I was dealt with could have been solved very easily but unfortunately my experience was not pleasant. Waited for a long time for this location to open and was originally so excited when it did. I shopped in the store the very first day and the store was everything I expected, but was kinda awkward shopping around with like 50 employees walking around but hey they wanted to be well staffed for the grand opening. I bought a few items and was able to use my TJX credit card via my app no problem. The associate keyed in my number at the register and I was on my way. I shopped again at the store literally a week or two later and tried to use my digital credit card again but this time was told that I couldn't. I even asked the manager and she said she needed the physical card and she couldn't tell me why. I explained that I have used the card at TJ Maxx and Marshall's successfully but she still said no. I showed her my app which literally states that the card can be used via the app in a store location. See attached pic. I had to leave all of my items at the register, get humiliated in front of others guests and go home to get my card. Before I left I heard the manager say she could key in numbers from a card at the register if it was a new card. So she had the option of keying in numbers but chose not to. Not sure why one week I can use my card and one week I'm not. I think it's because I'm a young Black woman perhaps and she didn't trust the card source. Very disappointed that employees aren't knowledgeable of the TJX app functionality. What's the point in having an app with an option to use my digital card if I'm unable to actually use it. Store was very clean but the front cashiers hair was not even brushed . Not even alittle . Looked like a rats nest . I was afraid to even stand in front of her because it looked like she had lice it looked so dirty! I've never had this complaint about anywhere. It was so disgusting I spoke to the mama get in private outside. Her response " oh it kinda looks like mine I didn't brush it just throw it up." Wow that tells me she will do nothing about it. We purchased a nice woven rug and some other nice items. The store was well organized. Unfortunately our experience was less than stellar with one of the staff. I understand store traffic jams can be a little annoying, but having your employee Sandra (dyed red hair and nose ring) lash out at the family with a small infant is out of line. A simple excuse me would suffice, but pissing off at us from behind is a bit much. I'm sorry you were stuck holding a small piece of pottery, but we were stuck as much as you were. Let me just start by saying that I love HomeGoods and I'm a frequent flyer at HG (probably go once a week). This location however lacks customer service. They say that they will not hold items and even when you've done a paid hold they say that their policy is that they only hold paid holds for 1 day. All other HomeGoods do paid holds for 7 days and they will hold an item for a minimum of 2 hours. When I called to have the item placed on hold the first person I spoke with said that they don't carry that brand. Little does that associate know, the brand of the item I was looking for is only exclusive to HomeGoods. You can google it if you'd like. The brand is Sarah Brooke and she makes beautiful large canvas art. I had to call a second time and speak to a different associate who went to look for the item for me. Basically the first guy I talked to was too lazy to go look. I can't say that I'd never shop at this HG again. But I can say that the manager that was working today lacked the ability to provide customer service. Something I know a great deal about since I worked retail for 10+ years. read more

I love home goods. However I have to give this store one star for not following the return policy correctly and how they responded to being questioned about my concern. After purchasing a few items We decided to return two the next day. The receipt was presented along with photo ID. Since payment was made in cash We expecting to receive cash back. They informed my husband we can only receive store credit and that they don't give cash back. After receiving the store credit. I called back to confirm what the store policy was. The first person who answered confirmed they don't give returns on cash form. So I asked for corporates phone number, after that the assistant manager Erica picked up and said she couldn't give me the corporate number and that I could look the number up. She also explained that they do refunds based on what the system says. I had to ask her 5 times if I purchase something in cash within 30 days and bring the receipt along with my photo I did will I receive my refund in cash. Her reply is if the system says it we can. This is very upsetting. It shouldn't be like pulling teeth to verify what the store policy is. I will be contacting the corporate office to assist me and to follow up with this store. read more

Went there on opening day- scored a bunch of cute stuff. In fact, I went twice that day. Both times I found amazing stuff. My review is mostly of a few younger teenage staff who were giggling and making jokes about customers. Had no common sense or decency to greet customers or just flat out ignored them.
