I do love this Natomas Daiso location. I was elated to discover that this was located here as it was the closest location to me at the time. It is nice to see Daiso expand to other Sacramento region locations. I love how this location has a well stocked store, kind employees and plenty of parking in the lot. Daiso has a lot of neat items to sale and you get a good deal. I enjoy the stationary items as well as anything for the house and plants. There's so much to explore and it is fun to go inside. This location was huge. We were in the area wanted to look around for different gift ideas. Maybe so Halloween items. A long time ago when I went to a different location they had Halloween items out. Not yet at this location. I was here a few weeks ago. We found a few little gifts. Hard to understand their price system. Seemed like only one person was working. She was on the register. This Natomas location is probably one of the largest Daiso in the Sacramento area. It has a lot more items than the other ones in Sac. Very cute products and reasonable prices. Spacious store, very clean, and nicely lit. A good variety of products. Ample parking in a large shopping center. If you are a fan of Daiso and live in the Sac area, this one is a must! read more

Daiso is all over the Sacramento area now! Some of the Daiso stores are very small. But this one in Natomas is one of the bigger stores in town. This store carried more items than most of the Daiso in Sacramento. But still not enough compared to some of the enormous stores in Los Angeles or the San Francisco Bay Area. The lights are very bright in this store--the air conditioning works very well in the hot summer days. I find more interesting things in this Daiso store. I like to drive a little longer to this store when I try to get something special I think Daiso is the only store that sells them. The parking lot is big, and more empty spots in the section in front of Daiso. I can always find a parking space very close by. The parking lot looks safe and clean. I've been to 2 of the Plano, Texas locations and they're big compared to the Sacramento ones. I quickly browsed through the aisles with my 4 year old, not looking for anything in particular. Love coming here. They have Japanese's products not found in other stores. Things that you would have to go there to purchase. Last time we went they were totally out of stock of many items. They are quite large and have the best selection of the surrounding Daisos, my mom and I will once or twice a year make a trip from Folsom area just to visit here and then hit Otos to stock up on our Japanese ingredients. Love Daiso! Since we don't have a Daiso in Fresno, California (hint hint Daiso) I always make it a point to stop in while in the Sacramento area. I brought a friend that had never been and she was pretty excited and bought quite a bit. I always buy the most from the Office Supply and Craft aisle as well as the Bag & Gift wrap aisle. Of course, I shop every aisle! Most of the time I end the shopping trip opening the cold cooler and getting a green tea. I would love it if Daiso had black tea but happy to have a cold drink. I haven't been in quite sometime but I know I could spend a couple hours in this store. I describe Daiso as a Japanese type dollar store, but better! Gadgets, necessities, cleaning, beauty, electrical, garden, home, stationary... Haven't had much interaction with staff, not the type to walk around and ask if one needs help, only see them at the register. I would rate this store at a 4.8. Daiso is one of those hidden gems that needs to be explored over, and over, and over again. Like many of the dollar/$.99 stores, the concept is actually so much better. Cuteness adorns all of the shelves, and there's definitely something for everyone. The Japanese food aisle alone is worth exploring and trying all of the amazing goodies. I tend to shop at Daiso for work related events, such as employee prizes, showers, and goodie bags for parties. There truly is an array of inexpensive, but quality goodies for both men and women. My first trip and to die so was just to see what all of the hubbub was about. I've been a customer ever since. I love being able to walk in, grab a shopping cart, and walk out with a huge bag filled with so much stuff, and my wallet still filled with money. You can buy so much stuff, and not feel like you've left your wallet behind. It's also a great place for that first time college student, that first time apartment dweller, or again like I said it's a great grab bag gift place. Because they are always adding new items, it's a great place to check out on a regular basis. You definitely get what you're paying for so go in with the expectations of whatever you're purchasing to not necessarily having a long life expectancy. The cuteness and uniqueness of what Daiso offers, Will keep you coming back for all those special occasions that you need to pick up a little something for. I was initially skeptical about the popularity of the Daiso stores. Personally, I was never into the Japanese pop culture aesthetic that focused a lot on cartoons and Mickey Mouse. After visiting the store, however, I found my preconceived notions of what this place actually is are dead wrong. Welcome to a wonderland of inexpensive yet in many ways quite practical and useful goods. I'd love to know more about who selects their stock. It's as eclectic as any store could carry, from stationary to back supports to kitchen utensils to camping gear. Every aisle offers new inspiration. We ended up buying some boxes, some coloring kits for my son, some goodies for Easter egg hunting and some chopsticks. It was everything we never thought we needed. And at only a couple bucks an item, all worth it. Here's my only criticisms. The price conversion charts, while seemingly a clever idea, were hard to understand and were ultimately more confusing than helpful. I've also been to these stores twice now and there always is no more than one or two registers with massive lines and waits for checkout. Updated review. Very few customers around in the afternoon on a weekday. The staff wear masks, and there is hand sanitizer at checkout. Very short checkout line. I was a little surprised that they charged $0.20 for a bag since the most I've come across so far is $0.10. Very few BT21 products. They have Sanrio and San-X goods, though not as much as Miniso currently. The inventory doesn't seem to change that much. read more

Always a treat to browse at all the different, unique items! My son prefers this store over the Delta Shores.. and he wanted to get a few snacks for college. So happy to have a big Daiso in Sacramento! The one by my house is in Westfield Mall so it is much smaller and sometimes closed due to covid. This one is very nice size....bigger than the ones in Hawaii....somewhat comparable to the ones in Japan. I usually get containers, tapperwares and disney products. The customer service is always nice. No Amex but they take credit cards. The store is clean and bright. Will definitely go back frequently! read more

Pretty good size Daiso near the Target shopping center. Plenty of parking further away from the busy Target parking lot. They have a good selection or household goods, cooking, garden supplies, snacks, etc. They have a Disney goods section. The price is up to $1.75 for non priced goods; however, everything else you have to convert yen to dollars through their posted charts. We were looking for slippers but they didn't have the ones we gotten from Daiso before. Always fun to walk around to see what they have. read more

I love Daiso! First one I ever went to is the one in Roseville Galleria and this one is much larger store. People complain that it is empty and I think it is because of the size. Same amount but just spread across much farther. There are some empty shelves that don't look good but at the same time, I like the wider aisles and don't feel claustrophobic like I do at the Roseville store. Most items are $1.50 unless otherwise marked but have never seen anything over $5. I like the fun little unique things you don't generally see. I especially like that gift wrap/stationary section and the organization boxes. I have bought a lot of the little ones for pills, jewelry, small items for travel. Like the dollar store, you end up buying a bunch of crap you didn't know you needed. My last trip ended up being $50... wtf??? But I sure had fun! read more

Wish they had this in New Orleans. Was super cool seeing the Japanese Dollar Tree versions. Though their stuff seems to be alot better than ours. I guess its actually more on point with 5 Below than Dollar Tree or Family Dollar. I cant stress how cool this store is. Oh, Daiso... how I love you so. I moved to the Sacramento area from San Francisco and fell in love with Daiso when I lived in the Bay Area. To my delight upon moving, Sacramento had not one, but TWO lovely Daiso locations (this one and Roseville Galleria). I now live on the east coast and am missing my Daiso! If you've never gone to a Daiso, stop reading this review and go NOW! It is an Asian dollar-ish store with everything you can imagine: beauty supplies, home goods, food, gardening, crafts, and more. This store in particular is much larger than the Roseville location, and they have a ton more products. It's always very clean and organized, and parking is never an issue. They have a "no returns" policy, but considering everything is around $1.50, it's not a huge loss. As a little Yelp treat, here are my favorite items: eyebrow razors, konjac face sponges, eyelash cases, silk exfoliating balls, makeup brushes, flowerpots, lingerie bags, gardening partitions (great for organizing), cooking tools, plates/bowls, travel utensils, cookie cutters, fuzzy socks, string lights, plastic organizers, felt, sewing supplies, embroidery looms, Pocky, Hello Panda, hair ties, mugs, piggy banks.... someone stop me; the list could go on and on! read more

Oh boy, I feel that the brand new shine has worn off of this place. On my last visit, the music was blaring and the track was not up to Daiso standards. It was more like Friday night at the Park (which is a local downtown dance club). The staff were screaming at each other because the music was so loud. I found that amusing. Plus there were a lot of empty shelves and large open areas. They are carrying less inventory since they opened. Plus I got a kick reading a corporate issued store sign stating that the "best by" dates on the food items were not expiration dates; the items are still good at least 3 months after BB date. Huh?! The Natomas location is very nice and they have a wide selection of goodies... ranging from car air fresheners, to bathroom items, to cleaning items, to snacks, to office supplies, to cosmetics... daiso has it all! Now remember it's like an Asian dollar store so quality of items may not be top notch BUT you get what you pay for! I ended up buying 3 car air fresheners! For $1.50, you can't go wrong! Staff are all nice and seem happy to be working! It seems this location has more items than Roseville but it's bigger so it's expected! I can spend a lot of time in here going down every aisle, browsing all of the cute little knick knacks, household wares, makeup, Asian groceries and snacks, art supplies, gift wrap, containers, toys, EVERYTHING! I was truly ecstatic to finally find my Hello Kitty Kikoman soy sauce ($4)!!!! So since my last visit they've changed their pricing to $1.50 for most things (if it's not $1.50, then it is marked on the product), which is still a great bargain. The spacious aisles are well organized and stocked well. The store was not busy when I came in on a late Tuesday afternoon. Friendly cashier. Lots of parking on their end of the strip mall. I love Daiso! So happy that we now conveniently have 3 stores in the Sacramento area, instead of having to make a special trip out to the bay area. read more

For those who haven't gotten into the Daiso craze yet, Daiso is a Japanese dollar store. Most items is what you can find at a discount store but for much cuter and better quality. Daiso has something for everyone. From toys for the kids, pets section, make up, tools, to kitchen essentials. The store is a lot bigger than one in Roseville. They seem to carry more items as well. Grand opening is Friday, May 12th, but they're open now for a soft opening! Right next to the Barnes and Noble in there Target shopping area! Super huge store! At least three times the size of the Daiso in Roseville. Super clean store and friendly staff. So excited for them to be closer to home. All the Japanese snacks and goodies without having to drive to South Sac or Roseville! I love finding the most random things for $1.50! They literally have everything. Great stuff in every aisle! Daiso is practically a dollar store but so much better! They've got lots of aisles with all kinds of goodies. Products range from foreign snacks to kitchen utensils to home decor to school supplies. It's just a huge mix of things. I stopped in looking for decorative pieces and ended up walking out with so much more. I was able to find basic coasters and placemats for my kitchen. They also had a banana rack/hanger for $1.50!! What a steal, considering those are like $12.99 at Ross. I also found a tart pan for $1.50! Yes, it's fairly small in size but not a bad deal! They had a whole section of cherry blossom products, probably for spring time, and everything was so cute! All the employees were friendly too! 5 stars for me! read more

I love this location better than the one at the Roseville Galleria mall. They have more selections and this place is much bigger! There is room to maneuver around in the store, the one at the mall felt cramped. I am always bumping into people. The aisle were so small! This store is always kept nice and clean. Everything is so organized. The staff are nice and helpful. I always find what I am looking for when I am here. They have everything from gardening tools, kitchen gadgets, dishes, organizational containers and boxes, beauty items, party items, Asian snacks, drinks, and even bath toys for my little one! I am in love with their yeast pastry rolls! It comes packaged and in different flavors. I love the chocolate ones! I have yet to try the green tea one. I recently found out that there's a Daiso in Sac from seeing a Daiso sign on the freeway lol. Finally checked this place out. Hmmm, it's a bit spacious.....maybe a little too spacious lol I feel like they could easily add more shelves/aisles. With this being said, I was a little bummed that there isn't much variety of items here compared to other stand-alone Daiso stores even though the building is large.
