We had the pleasure of working with Rose Sypkens (owner and designer) and we are incredibly happy with the outcome! Rose is amazing and transformed our living and dining room into an elegant yet functional space for our family. It has been five months since we received our custom furniture and we absolutely love it! Rose has an impeccable eye for design and she delivered in every detail of the space from the lighting, wall mirror, curtains, art, plant, rug, and centerpiece. We trusted her completely when picking out fabric (colors, designs and textures) and she used her expertise to deliver a product that was better than we could have imagined. The quality is incredible and we are 100% satisfied with the entire experience! Now our home should be featured on HGTV! You're the best, Rose! Thank you!

Rose is an awesome interior designer. She really cares about how your home looks and always recommends items that will bring your space up to à better level.

Our living room was in need of a revamp. Rose the owner looked at a few pictures of our space. She came up with some pillows designs to update our plain basic sectional that is a dark gunmetal grey color. We loved that Rose really listened to our needs on the colors and size of the pillows. It was an amazing experience. Our curtain design did not really fit our home. She let us know what would be best and she nailed it perfectly for us. Our space has been transformed for the better. We will use her again in the future for other rooms we have.

Try to stay away from This business . The owner rose seems very friendly and she is very talkative, do not let her friendly behavior fool you . We bought about $12000 worth of furniture from her and paid her around $400 for interior designing service . We were told we getting a custom order of everything for our family room . We waited about 2 months to get everything. she made sure we pay her everything in advance . The day we got our delivery we realized the sectional sofa was facing the wrong side and had less seating than what we were told in the beginning or ordered, when we asked rose she said it's the one we order which is not true and it's non refundable now, we were surprised by her rude behavior that day and later we found out that sofa set was one from her ware house inventory it had lots of wear and tear on legs and can tell its been moved around a lot. We were never told that was from her storage till that day we would have never agreed to pay that much money for a floor model. She lied to us about the whole transaction, she stopped answering our phone calls and refused to see us after that day she only did the communication via email and took her sweet time to reply to us . She is a liar, don't believe her anything she say or pay her any advance money Editing to respond the seller The txt seller sent me said custom sectional .. am attaching the picture of the text it's says custom sectional.. And her prices her way higher than anybody else .. she tried to charge us 1179 for a wall art and that same wall is on sale online for 162.. See the photos for proof proof

Lots of items in every aisle but I did see a lot of broken products. The store also had an unpleasant smell. I was looking for decorative pieces for my new place and was so happy to find beautiful canvas paintings! They had an array of options but of course the one my boyfriend and I liked the most was defective! The canvas had about a 3 inch cut. I asked a rep for a discount and they were happy to give me 10% off for the damage. It didn't really save me much, I think it was $2 but luckily it's really not noticeable against our wall. I also found some cute mirrors for great prices! They were $5.99 for 3 mirrors, where as at Ross they would be $9.99 or at target they could go for $19.99. Great price & deal! They're super light and the mirror works well. I'll have to make more visits to dd's because I just love the decorative pieces they have and employees are fairly kind.

The sales associate offered a 20% discount but suggested I speak with a manager, as she felt a larger discount would be appropriate given the damage. She asked Jamesha if she could adjust the price, but Jamesha responded dismissively and with a hostile attitude, saying no. She added that she would have offered 10%, but since 20% was already mentioned, she wasn't going to do more, and shrugged with attitude. I was taken aback by her demeanor. She maintained a confrontational stance throughout. When the sales associate pointed out the large rip again, Jamesha said she saw it but didn't care, stating, "She can take it or leave it. I'm standing on it." Both the associate and I were left puzzled by the interaction. As a manager, Jamesha's handling of the situation reflected poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and a concerning attitude. I hope the store considers finding someone better suited for a leadership role, as this kind of behavior is not acceptable in a customer-facing position.

I've been here a few times and wondered if they were still in business and there, they were. They haven't changed a bit. They are tastefully decorated in living room sets that are retro. We are shopping for a love seat so my husband sat in all of them hoping to find one. He liked the red minimalist one the most. The only thing is it looks like it might fold out to a futon, but it doesn't and we really need one for when my mother in law comes to visit and other visitors. They have so many items that I kept pointing to and saying "We used to have one of these." The most memorial items were the Pyrex, which my parents still have and a rotary phone which my parents still have just in case the electricity goes out. They also have the push button one and my parents have one of those too. My parents request to keep their land line and just have the local plan which they use to call their friends. They are afraid the power will go out and they won't be able to call anyone for help. And the power does go out in the winter on a regular basis where they live so this is really good for them. The new phones all use electricity. This shop also has lots of cases of jewelry and their broaches were on display on a mine mannequin. They were very sparkly, but I didn't have the time to really browse as the furniture took up most of my time. As we were finishing up my husband made the comment that he really needs to bring his sister and her husband here as she loves these types of store. They are planning on visiting so we'll be taking her here and to Zocalo too as shopping bring on a appetite.

So, it's that time in our lives that we are looking to start the money pit aka kitchen renovation…read more We've been in our house for a few years now, we're finally settled, paid off our cars so we have a few extra bucks. IKEA was the first place we thought of for inspiration. We were surprised at the color scheme we looked at and liked. We were attracted to the blue cabinets or the olive green cabinets as they would look good with our dark floors. An ask for countertops, I don't want lament as it won't hold it's shape. I like the glass composite countertops as they look more sturdy. We were surprised that they sell stoves, ovens, and microwaves. We thought they would be dummy's like the TVs are. I question the quality and longevity of IKEAs kitchens. They mostly show the lament kitchen tops. It's much cheaper then the composite glass, but I doubt they will last as long. I found the sink style I like. We have water outflow issues with our sink and facet, so I found a set in sink that I liked, no lip that goes over the countertops. With the countertops questionable longevity, now I question the cupboards quality and longevity. You have to give them props for being reusable price, I just don't want it to wear out. In the end we are thinking that the cost will be around $15,000 including instulation. I'm thinking more like $20,000 as things always cost more than you expect them to. Our next stop will be local hardware stores to check out their offerings. We really like IKEA's set up and displays. They are so realistic with the walls and all, it makes you feel like you are walking into a real kitchen unlike the hardware stores where you are just looking at the counties tops and cupboards. One things we observed with IKEA is they have lots of stark white cabinets. They brighten the room, but stark white against dark brown floors woudld be doo much of a contrast. And reminds me of the black and white high contrast baby books they make for tummy time. A little too contrasty for me. So, here we are looking at an investment as ours is still functional so there really isn't a rush. My husband has a point, let's spread out our large purchases over the years and not do everything at once. This year will possibly be the kitchen. Next year will be painting the house. And there is a good possibility of doing the ac and heating units. Last month was the fridge. And a few years back it was the washer and a few months after that it was the dryer. So in the end everything is pretty much spread out. Oh, don't forget the dishwasher and around 5 years ago it was the dishwasher and hot tub. The good news we're not in debt.

Maze of displays and merchandise of furniture (for every room), shelving, lighting, houseware, storage, linens, towels, rugs, live plants, art, curtains, cutlery, and Swedish snacks. But I don't go on the weekends. That's when it's full throttle crowded. My last shopping experience was on a recent late weekday afternoon. Before I go into the not so great moments, let me tell you the great stuff. The cafeteria food server was terrific. A lot of indecisive folks ordering good and asking questions, she handled it like a pro and kept the line moving. The cashier assisting at the first floor self check out was super helpful. Most of the furniture is made of sustainable materials and cheaply priced. Heck the majority of the furniture in my home is from IKEA. If hauling and assembling your own furniture is not your thing, keep in mind they offer assembly and delivery for additional costs. I've done both. You can check inventory quantity and the aisle and bin # location of furniture items on their website. Not so great: On my visit, the restrooms on the second floor, next to the cafeteria, were in awful shape. They changed the restrooms to multiple toilet rooms with motion activated low flow flush toilets. I encountered horrible bathroom toilet visuals. I went into 4 vacant toilet closets to get one without a #2. Grody! Then the toilet did not flush, there is no bypass button. Purely just motion activated that was not working. IKEA- for goodness sake, go back to the drawing board on these toilets. Also the cafeteria was low on several food items and ran out of coffee. Surprisingly since it was around 4pm, nearing early bird dinner time. Maybe a good thing considering the toilet situation. But not great when you paid for a cup of coffee and waited over 20 minutes. I was assured by the cashier, when paying for a coffee, that it won't take long to brew a fresh batch. Possibly staff can monitor the coffee. Plus I didn't understand why the cafeteria cashier letting line cutters in. He allowed a customer to cut the queue to purchase a drink. I didn't say anything to either the cashier or customer. But my opinion is that the customer go through the queue and get in line behind the others; bypassing the hot food line makes sense but not the line of folks queuing up to pay.
