Having been homeowners for some 50 years, we have been 'around the bush' with many construction and remodeling projects. But without exaggeration, Furnitalia's performance in every phase was extraordinary! Their excellence stems from deep competency in all phases of design, demolition, construction, and finish work. Moreover, I have never encountered a more meticulous and courteous group of workers. They designed a beautiful kitchen for us. During demolition they encountered some incredible problems left behind by previous remodeling contractors and were relentless and highly skilled in fabricating and executing solutions to those problems. They stayed on schedule and would have beaten the original deadlines had the countertop stone not been delayed. They moved our furniture out, and in. They identified problems and imperfections that even we did not notice, and we are now so happy with the end product and most appreciative of their meticulousness and professionalism. The end result -- everything in our kitchen works better than we imagined, including the storage spaces and the Miele appliances, which are significantly better than any others we have encountered. I should also mention that Furnitalia handled all the subcontracting seamlessly, including flooring, electrical, plumbing, cabinet and appliance installation, and painting. We offer the highest possible recommendation for Furnitalia -- they are genuinely unique and exemplary!

They had very affordable prices for their furniture, and it felt like great quality. They even had one that you could customize. I decided to purchase a gray sectional from the brand Ashley that was $780. He said he could deliver it the next day and and for free! (we were in Sacramento) He asked us what time we wanted it delivered and we told him between 10am and 11am, which was the earliest. The next day, he arrived during that time and was able to get the furniture into our apartment even though the railing was making it very difficult to get the longer part of it in. He called the manager and between both of them they were able to get it in. It was awesome how they really tried to make it work because he could've just easily said it doesn't fit and returned it to the store. I was super grateful they were able to get it in. I definitely recommend, they were fast, affordable and friendly. If I need any other furniture, I will definitely be going to them first.

When I called to verify, I was told it did not include the chairs, even though the listing clearly stated otherwise. I asked for a manager, but was told none was available and to call back. After calling back multiple times with no answer, the listing was suddenly deleted and relisted for $999. I still have the set in my cart at the original $279 and have screenshots to prove it. Normally I wouldn't be this frustrated, but it's the principle -- I was lied to in order to prevent me from placing the order, which feels very intentional. As a business owner myself, I find this behavior unacceptable and unprofessional. At the very least, they should honor the original listed price and treat customers with honesty and respect.

Let me tell you about the people there I was immediately greeted when I came in (which is not a common experience for me unfortunately.) Not only that I was asked questions about what style I was going for but also my budget. After that I ordered the items you see below and I waited 3 days for delivery which was amazing the guys came quickly they were on time and they put everything together so effortlessly and they even help me pick where I should actually set things up. Jason was hilarious the entire time. Overall I really love the company I really love the people running the show and how welcoming they are it feels like you are just talking to a family member. They are not about a sale because there were items that I really thought would look good that I was told and doesn't and now that I'm sitting back I'm very happy I didn't buy them. Exceptional Craftsmanship from Mike Ambrose!…read more I stumbled across Mike's website some time ago and really liked his style. I was in need of an office desk and wanted something special, so I decided to give him a call. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. From the get-go, I could tell Mike was a talented, friendly, and genuine guy. I visited his studio, where he helped me select a gorgeous pair of bookmatched walnut slabs with incredible grain, figure, and character. The finished desk is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail, joinery, and finish are all top-notch. I've spent hundreds of hours woodworking myself, so I have a pretty good appreciation for what goes into making a piece like this. His work is the real deal. It's rare to find someone with this combination of technical skill, artistic eye, and genuine passion for what they do. Beyond the craftsmanship, his pricing was incredibly fair, communication was easy, and he delivered exactly when promised. He's also just a great guy to work with. I couldn't recommend Mike more highly. If you're looking for a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece of furniture made by someone who truly cares about his craft, look no further. I'll treasure this desk for decades, and wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

Eventually the schools will reopen and things will calm down, but many office workers may choose to spend more time working from home. This will help traffic and save lots of money, but it also makes a home office far more important. One option to build a home office and save money is Jamesville Office Furniture. They are located in Rancho Cordova near Sunrise and Folsom. Jamesville has a great selection of used office furniture. This is the real stuff used in professional environments offered at huge discounts. You can find some great deals on desks, tables, chairs, and other items. These items are solid and a huge improvement over IKEA and Staples inventory for not much more money. They have a warehouse you can browse, but hours are limited to Monday-Friday during the day. It is pretty basic, but the staff and inventory are solid. Even though places like this cater to offices and businesses, it is a great option for single purchases. I was able to score a nice Herman Miller Aeron chair here at a much lower cost than new, and it is in great condition. Most of the other items are reasonable, although some may have minor cosmetic flaws or need some upgrades. They also had a lot of standing desks and corner desks which are great options for smaller bedroom and nooks. I was cash and carry, but they can probably help arrange delivery and installation options for a fee. Selection is variable and limited based on availability, so do not expect a lot of inventory. Although you may be lucky like I was! One of the staff was very helpful in showing me the selection and demonstrating the features of the chair. I was able to find the right fit, and he cleaned and loaded the chair into my car. Everything is changing, but having a good home office may be the new normal for many. Places like Jamesville Office Furniture are a great way to get that professional feel in your home. Ergonomic options are a must for endless Zoom calls!

I was greeted by Sam but he didn't approach me aggressively, as I've experienced sometimes in larger furniture stores. He was kind and thoughtful and understood that I was in a hurry and listed carefully about what kind of furniture I was looking for which could fit in our reasonably sized house. (If you live near this store, the big furniture in Roseville and Rocklin won't fit in our houses) Sam was kind, thoughtful, and humorous while we talked about family. He showed me some catalogs to expand my inspiration and then I asked about the Murphy Beds he has at the back of the shop. Wow! I'd never seen anything so inventive for housing guests while being reasonably priced. My husband and I are waiting to use our tax refund at Sacramento Furniture Store. Sam won me over with his honest personality. He explained that the sign out front that states they are not going out business is in opposition to all the other shops. He explained that those shops that are not truly "going out of business" and "everything must go" places are lying to the consumer before we even step foot inside the store. That statement made a real connection to my spirit and I can imagine I will be a repeat customer for the foreseeable future.
