I'm not a Target gal. I go a few times a year when I'm really in need of something. Today was one of those days. I was already in the shopping center so I took a gander. I wanted some toilet tablets and they had 2 kinds. Scrubbing bubbles tablets for the tank and gel press on ones for the bowl. I got a package of each. We have 4 toilets so we can test to see which one works better. Now the challenge is we need to clean our toilets before we begin using them. I also wanted a bagged salad for lunch. I know we have food at home and I should really eat that up first, but we're out of salad and I was really in the mood for some salad. They had a Southwest salad that sounded good. As I pulled the front one out I saw the one behind it had a sale tag on it so I grabbed that one and saved around $0.50. Not much, but it was something. It was probably an old bag that needed to be used by today. That was fine as I broke it open soon as I got home. It was really tasty. It was one of those cabbage mixes. It had freeze dried corn and crunches in a packet. Along with a pack of Parmesan cheese. It was a solid salad and I ate the entire bag. I really liked the Southwest salad dressing it came with. Parking is easy if you don't mind walking a little. Soon as you pull in grab a spot so you aren't spending your time hunting around. I got lucky today and got one of the 3 spots up front. And it was just my luck that traffic was light and I didn't have any issues pulling out of the spot to leave. Target is a pretty pleasant place to shop. It's always bustling with people. I know that there a lot of good deals to be had lurking around the store. I used to shop there all the time and find those clearance end caps and get things for a steal. Then over time I realized that those things were a good deal, but I really didn't need them so I was spending money that I didn't need to. After that realization I steer clear of Target. I've saved so much money not shopping there. read more

This is by far one of the worst Target experiences I've had. The bathrooms are consistently filthy--today was unacceptable. The family restroom hadn't been serviced since 10 AM on 3/15, and I'm here on 3/16. There were crackers all over the floor, toilet paper everywhere, and the overall condition was just disgusting. On top of that, the store is always understocked, with basic items constantly out. Lines are always long, and there's never enough staff to support the volume. When you do interact with employees, the service is often rude and unhelpful. To make it worse, they don't even allow you to pay in electronics, which just adds more frustration to an already poor experience. This store seriously needs better management, more staffing, and basic standards for cleanliness. Right now, it's unacceptable. read more

Did another pick up service order. They changed their bags and now charge 10 cents a bag for paper bags vs 25 cents a bag for the reusable red ones. I actually prefer the new system because I didn't know what to do with so many reusable bags. This way, I can reuse the paper brown bags a couple of times and then recycle it. Service was prompt and friendly as always. Very convenient when you are in a time crunch. read more

The manager Kayla is beyond rude. I even got it on camera. I was baffled that my home store had Employees like her. The other Manager Mia is pretty cool but this lady was beyond rude and tossed my merchandise all over the counter and popped her gun in my face. It was so hard for me to hold my cool. I came in simply to make a return from DoorDash which I've never done before and she was so nasty and wouldn't help me and even said she didn't know how but admitted that she had done many returns for DoorDash smh it was so weird and uncomfortable and i will make sure to file a higher up complaint! read more

I returned an order of $266.66 immediately after purchasing because the manager was snotty rude after I complained about the loud annoying worker acting highly unprofessional, distracting and goofy. Went to this Target location this morning and it was a complete waste of time. I drove about 20 minutes there (one way) because this store had the diapers we use in stock, while the location closer to us did not. I brought an unopened, unused box of Millie Moon brand diapers (size 4) to return. My daughter is in size 3 so all I needed was store credit to get size 3. I had my receipt, and the purchase was also on my Target Circle account. I was told by the brunette employee at the exchanges and returns desk that because it was past the 90-day return window, I couldn't even receive store credit. This was extremely frustrating, especially since every other Target location I've been to has always allowed store credit past 90 days if I had receipt. Getting out of the house with an infant is already a challenge, so this felt like a huge waste of time. I escalated the issue to higher management and was told that I should have been given store credit in the first place since again, I had my receipt. (Upper management ended up giving me store credit.) Very disappointing experience and inconsistent customer service here at the West Sac location compared to other Target locations. read more

This review is for the vaccination area located at the pharmacy: Today I received notification that I should get some vaccinations from cvs and that my nearby Target had this service. I was pleased at the thought because target is so close to me and convenient. I arrived and checked in and was shocked to find a dirty trash with trash inside placed on top of one the chairs we are supposed to be sitting on for vaccinations...The staff was nice enough to clean the bench nearby but how the heck is that even legal. Came to pick up harassing RX at CVS only to find them closed for lunch from 1 to 2 pm. I can't imagine why staff shifts can't stack in altered lunches so pick up or drop off can be done. Then I had to purchase some hair products and of course I get in the wrong check out line. Guy rings and bags my stuff then leaves me while he rethreads paper into a self check register. Trying to buy some shoes that are on sale. Due to inaccurate inventory they are unable to sell me shoes that they have physically in the store, Alex would rather take them in the back than to sell them at the sales price. I even went to customer service and they said it's her decision and they couldn't help me make the purchase. Trying to give you money for a product that you have in the store for the price you have listed it for seems like something Target would be interested in, but Alex doesn't think that's a reasonable request from a customer. This target is always well stocked, clean and well run. The staff is always attentive, helpful and pleasant. I've been coming here for three years and cannot recall a single bad experience. I love that they added an in-store Ulta. Returns are no fuss. Checkout is always efficient and self checkout is well staffed so there's no-wait delays. The up-front staff always greets me with a friendly smile and hello. A great bonus the Starbucks inside here always does a great job; fast, efficient and consistent. Best spot in West Sacramento!!! Arrived an hour early for my hair appointment, so Decided to make a stop. I used to frequent this Target when I worked in town, so I know where everything is! Last week I picked up some v-neck t- shirts for the hubby on sale $6.00 so I was hoping they had the same! Scored on two additional colors for him! Always impressed with how clean, well stocked and wide aisles they have. Only reason I frequent Wally World because it's super close to us, or I'd be Target shopper for sure. Be very careful in this store! I purchased a Target gift card here, 2 days later, while it was sitting in my car, it was redeemed. I'm not sure how this is possible but Target makes it nearly impossible for the honest person to be compensated. I was embarrassed because I sent a gift card with no balance, my recipient was embarrassed because they tried to use a card with no balance and the best Target would do was promise to research this and respond to me by mail in 7-10 working days. Unacceptable! They know when the card was purchased and where. They also know when and where it was redeemed and where any product was sent. Or if it was used for a return. I feel ripped off and with the Corporations blessing. So, Caveat Emptor, buyer beware, Target is NOT on your side, they are on their side. Pride wear? It makes for traffic and revenue. Typically don't shop here since I have a location that's closer but came here cause my normal location didn't have what I needed in stock. I had an older gentleman as my cashier and I had brought my own bag that was on the smaller side so I told him that the box of fruit snacks can be left out of the bag if there's no space and he said "would you like to do it or would you like me to do it?" I don't feel like that commentary was necessary and was just telling him that I was okay with carrying the box if it doesn't fit. read more

Look, I'm a Target shopper. I absolutely adore that bullseye, and no matter what it costs to shop here, I will remain loyal. This location is no exception, its clean, open, and easy to browse around while Target tells you what you came to buy. I especially adore the wine section as they have an obscure wine that I used to have to order online! The self check out is a breeze, and besides having to pay for bags (I'm new to Cali, but I made sure to bring my own), that part is most convenient. Even though there is a Starbucks across the parking lot, they have a full service one in front of the store, and it's always clean and relatively not busy. Love the friendly staff, make sure you check in with their app before going to pick up your drive up order, that way they'll have your bags ready in their carts when you arrive. FYI if you check in after you've parked, please be patient because they have to grab your bags from the shelves before they come out with them. read more

First off, I love this Target and Target in general. This particular location been my go-to for the last seven years. Now you're probably wondering why the two stars if I love this Target. Well, the experience I had tonight has left me still fuming two hours later (as of this review). Saw a particular product on the Target app for a much lower price and a cartwheel offer that lowers the item even more than they have priced in store. I added the item to the cart in my Target app and showed a staff in the electronics section the price because I was gonna buy it. I've been eyeing this item for awhile now and this was too good of a deal to pass up. From my previous experiences, Target will usually price match their own app prices when there is a difference. But not this time. I'm pretty sure this staff that "helped" me thought I was lying cuz of the way this person asked me certain questions and the look she gave me as if I was lying to them. I thought it was kinda rude, but whatever. I get it, they're just doing their job. So this person pretty much doesn't believe me and scans the product with their scanner a few more times and it still shows up as the higher price. This person looks at my phone again with the app open with the lower price in the cart still questioning it as if I photo shopped it when I clearly showed this person I'm using the Target app. Then they were like can you do this and that? Fine. I did that. Still a lower price than what shows up on her system. Seemingly unsatisfied with the results, she asks for my phone. Then this person was like "I'm gonna remove this from your cart and add it again to see what the price is" and I'm like "what if it goes to the higher price because I was here earlier tonight and it didn't work but I was checking at home and the lower popped up and so I added it hoping you would match it. So what happens then even though you see this lower price?" This person goes "well, you'll be charged the higher price." But I'm like "but you see the lower price on the screen now," then this person just removes it from my cart on the app from my phone. Then tries to add the product again and says the store doesn't have enough in stock so it can't be added to the cart. This is while they were holding the damn product in their own hands and they muttered "that's not true" while looking at that false message on the app. Then this person asks if I still wanted it? Fuck no, I don't! I didn't expect to pay this price. So not only were you NOT helpful, but you screwed me over. I left Target with a very sour taste in my mouth as to what happened. So basically I went to show them on their very own app a lower price for a particular product than it shows in store and not only would they not honor it, they clearly are falsely advertising on the app they don't have that item left when I clearly see two. Like I said, I love Target as much as the next person. But the customer service I received tonight and how I got screwed over isn't sitting right with me. Yes, an argument can be made that maybe I didn't need that particular item or whatever. But it's the principle. I mean, boycotting Target and not spending my money here has crossed my mind, but where am I gonna go? Wal-Mart? Nah, I'm good. Nothing against Wal-Mart itself. It's just out of the way for me. And also, me not spending my $100-200 a month here ain't gonna affect them. But I am definitely taking a break from THIS Target for the foreseeable future. I surely hope that this isn't an overall reflection of the Corporation as a whole and how they conduct business. If you ain't wanna sell the damn thing for a lower price, then at least be consistent with your stores. read more

This has to be the most organized Target I have ever visited. When I used to go into the store to shop, everything was always organized and in-stock. Plus the workers are always helpful. But to be honest since this whole Covid catastrophe- I have been religiously using the Drive-up option, where you basically shop in the app, select your items, place then "in your cart" and then check out/pay by inputting your debit/credit card information. You then receive an email when your drive-up order is ready. You check in when you arrive to Target, park in one of the designated parking spots and if you're lucky - you get Kim to deliver your goods! She's the best and provides exceptional customer service in the drive-up lanes! I would highly recommend using this free service if you plan on shopping at Target! read more

I had the worst experience today I had ordered a couple items and it said some where out of stock so I went in to get something different and I noticed everything that said missing was in the store. People should pay more attention when they are shopping for someone else cause apparently they never pay attention and they don't look around and are very lazy. They should probably get more training if they don't know what they are doing. Also when I was leaving the store I saw the girl standing out side so I walked up and said " I have a pick up so she asked for my last name, I told her and when I got my items I noticed a big item missing I was yelling for her and she ignored me. So I went inside to get it and she noticed and gave it to me. So I went in my car checked my bags and noticed that one of entire purchases was so I had to go back inside. I said " I'm missing my entire purchase " she kept apologizing but when she gave my first item that was missing she should noticed my entire purchase was missing wouldn't she had noticed the hole purchase was in the back. I THINK THAT THESE PEOPLE THAT WORN AT TARGET PICK UP SHOULD PAY MORE ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND NOT JUST NOT LEANING OVER THE COUNTER ON THERE PHONES AND TALKING OTHER EMPLOYEES. I'm not going back to Target to buy anymore gift cards. Bought a $300 iTunes card but they failed to activate it properly. Now, I threw $300 in the trash. Target has lost my business forever! I use to come here, buy random stuff. I am done! I will never step foot inside this building ever again! I lost $300!
