I had come to return my 's fragrance as it shattered in the mail and she was absolutely incredible. Her customer service is outstanding and her level of care is genuine. The customer service at this location is deplorable. I received an expensive watch as a gift that was purchased at this store. The person who purchased it was told I could bring it in to have it sized for free. I went in with the watch and proof of purchase. I was told I needed the card the watch was purchased with for it to be sized. It was a gift!! The man working at the fine jewelry counter was rude. It was apparent he did not want to assist me. I will take my watch to a different location to have it sized. I moved on to buy a men's shirt I needed as a gift that day. The selection of shirts was impressive, completing the purchase was not. The woman was just plain nasty. I smiled and said hello and her response was something about a Macy's card. This is like our little boutique Macy's - it's smaller than most locations, always has been & that's what we love about it! I haven't been shopping in forever but wanted a new pair of earrings. I popped in here about an hour before they were scheduled to close (during the week that's 8 pm). The woman at the jewelry counter was super sweet to hold the two pairs I found, while I jetted upstairs. "Just for a few minutes." Haha. Wow - I had no idea they have this massive clearance area called "Last Act!" Also that they are the official "Grateful Dead" merch provider! I just thought that was odd b/c TGD were anti-establishment and yet here are all these shirts. Big picture: even though this site has less selection than the larger Macy's, they have kickas** sales! In no time at all, I found women's Levi's jeans on sale & b/c I didn't want to spend precious time trying them on, I bought two pairs, so I could try them on at home and then return the pair that didn't fit. In other high drama: my Macy's card was declined. WTH? I specifically hit up Macy's b/c I have their card & haven't used it in forever. Right at the cash register, I called Macy's Customer Care number on the card. At the same time, Andy the gentleman employee who was assisting me, picked up the phone & got Customer Service on his end. That was so nice - I didn't ask him to do that! Macy's Corporate informed me "if you don't use your card in 30 months, your account is closed." Yes I had my debit card but the point of me being there was to be able to use my Macy's card. Apparently I have to reapply for a new one. Even so, the two employees helping me - Andy & a young dark haired woman w/ cat eye makeup - were so friendly & helpful. It was like 7:58 pm & time for them to go home but they were sweet, not rushing me & apologizing about the card, even though that was totally out of their control. I dashed down to the jewelry counter, pretty certain that the earrings I'd spent 25 minutes picking out, had been put back but nope! They were still saved for me. I thanked that employee profusely b/c I've worked retail & it's annoying when customers come in at the last minute. Gone completely downhill. The mens jacket and suit selection is pretty much gone. It's just all cheap crap clothes made in Vietnam and Asia now. Adding the Starbucks in store on cheapened the experience. Shame, one could find a decent jacket or casual workplace vest or jacket. With experienced sale staff that actually had knowledge. Now it's all seasonal workers that just restock things. Gone completely downhill, and this used to be a really good dept store. Now it's just a cheap crap made in Asia TJ max type of store. He went above and beyond looking for all possibilities in any location of the valley for my size. Overall, it is luck if you get your size and choice of suits here. Macys is trying. The store is very clean and it's a beautiful store in a great and expensive location. We love walking in here and how nice it is. The elevator is so tiny. They added toys r us upstairs. They seem like a miniature mall inside of a department store. I think I get why they call it department stores. Lightbulb. We come in and buy a pair of shoes, or shirt in support because even though these big businesses have failed to adapt; we appreciate the local effort in how beautiful they keep the place and staff who still bring us the back in the day glamour. I remember Macy's glamour back in the day and now in the current day these department stores have always been overpriced (best sales of course) but these businesses never gave customers a reason to be loyal. Amazon has played well to our laziness and entitlements. I give four stars because the store is so beautiful and the bathrooms are always clean. read more

This Macy's was clean and inviting as always with lots of friendly employees ready to help you if needed. I felt this particular location was bigger and had more compared to other locations. It was 3 floors with couches and housing things on the third floor. They also had some really awesome sales going on. I would definitely stop in again if in the area! read more

Beautiful Macy's! You never fail to deliver an exciting time. This is a wonderful location that has been here for many years. It was the Broadway originally and then with Macy's bought The Broadway it became Macy's. A glamorous location. A staple department store at the Biltmore shopping center on Camelback and 24th St. Three levels at this location. All beautifully air-conditioned ,which is so important when it's 116 outside. Always a glorious sale. And so many beautiful clothing, shoes, and things for the home. Plus half the First level is the make up department. If you have a Macy's credit card you can get lots of good deals coupons and rewards dollars. There is covered parking in a three-story garage next to the store another major plus ,when you are in extreme heat. read more

Me and my boyfriend were profiled! We went over yesterday and bought a new cologne. We opened it to come and find out the atomizer is broken so he came by today to return it for our money back. Upon returning, managers Cheryl and Joe opened the product and told us it was filled with "brown alcohol" and couldn't return the product because it's "faulty". We felt they were insinuating that we filled the product up with brown alcohol. Mind you, we're loyal customers and shop here frequently and never had problems here until today. We asked if it's possible to get a new cologne since the one we've bought was filled with alcohol and they told us no. We couldn't get our money back nor a new cologne but offered to get us a new atomizer after telling us the bottle was filled with alcohol. Of course with that knowledge we declined and left. With that being said, I do not recommend shopping here, if they weren't profiling us they sold us a faulty product anyway which is overly priced for the size. 0/10 experience, they need to do better with appeasing to their customers needs, especially loyal ones. read more

We purchased a sofa sectional $2800. The worst experience I ever had with a department store. Service was slow, salesperson was trying to overcharge us. She misquoted the delivery fee. We had to change our delivery date and I called 5 days before the scheduled date. Well the first CSR I talked to supposedly changed it nope! I called every day and spoke to four different people and nobody could change our delivery date. I called my Macys salesperson and she was no help and said wait until they deliver it to your door then refuse it. Then our furniture will be handled twice. Customer service said cancel your order and re purchase it! After five days of no success the delivery company showed up to our house and i refused it. After three more days of trying to schedule our new delivery date someone was able to schedule it. We had to wait an extra week to get our furniture because no one was able to re-schedule our furniture. Their white glove delivery service is not white glove for $299. The delivery crew does not wear booties like stated. Their assembly was sub par. Poor service! We will never purchase from Macys ever again. I recommend going to a furniture store that knows what they are doing. the only reason why we purchased at Macys is because we liked this particular sofa we couldn't find elsewhere. read more

Worst customer service in history for Macy's American Express Card. If a zero star was available I'd have given them that. First, I paid off my balance in full. With my next invoice it said I owed $2.00. I wanted to know how I owed anything since I paid off the account in full since the interest rate on an unpaid balance is astronomical. Plus I had someone suggest this might be a random charge in order to keep the account active and possibly charge a late fee. In any case I wanted to get it explained, paid or taken off. I called the number on the card and invoice and got an automated response that couldn't find my account although the bill and card were in my hand. I repeatedly asked to speak to a real person and kept getting nowhere except more questions from the robot. After two or three rounds of this I decided to call American Express. After waiting for an actual person for several minutes I got someone who asked for my account number. I gave it to him and the line went dead. I called back, waited even longer, got a real person again and told her that this was a Macy's American Express Card. She said American Express doesn't handle Macy's American Express Cards and she told me to call the number on the card I'd already called several times and gotten nowhere. So I called the Macy's general customer service number. After a long wait I got a person who said I would have to talk to someone in billing after she got some information from me. All during her call there were loud voices in the background making it hard to understand her. Then she asked if I could go somewhere where there wasn't so much noise. I told her I was alone in a quiet room and the noise was coming from her end. After more noise and more yelling to be heard she said that, indeed, the noise was a problem on her end and that she'd call me back when they cleared it up. I'm still waiting. read more

Went into Macy's decided to chill at the corner Starbucks inside by the men's department and my friend ordered a Tazo drink without ice and they gave it to her with ice so the lady behind the counter took the lid drain the liquid into another cup without ice in the drink clearly was cloudy and the liquid was still cold. She understands that it's refrigerated but when someone asks for NO ice, The very least they can do is get the order right and prepare it again. The workers didn't seem very interested and just all-around lazy. I accidentally spilled my water but I did clean up my eyes and asked for a towel so I can at least dry the floor a little bit since I know customers aren't really allowed to mop up their mess. My friend had to ask twice to have her drink fixed both wrong. I started looking at some of the items they were selling and happened to see the manager. The manager was very nice and apologized. My friend got her money back and was even given a gift card and a undisclosed amount. I think it was probably just enough to get another drink. read more

When it comes to men's suits/shirts/ties, I really don't know how the heck to match them. I think my OCD takes over and I can't wrap my head around all of the patterns and how they'd go together! And if you go all plain, that is just boring. We have two weddings coming up and my husband was for sure in the market for new ties/dress shirts to go with his suits. (He's worn the same combos for the last 6 years.) One of his suits is a navy/very very very fine burgundy stripe and the other is a grey/black/brown super duper fine stripe. I am so bummed because i'm completely blanking the gal's name who helped us but she was covering the men's shoes and dress clothes on Sunday, 3/1 at 11 AM. She helped us find the PERFECT shirts and ties to go with his suits and we're both so excited about the result. They are great for spring! She also measured his neck and arm length and the first size that he tried on fit, thanks to her expert measurements! Macy's is also having a huge sale right now so dress shirts and ties are between 40-60% off! Yes, please! We'll absolutely come back here for future menswear needs. Great merchandise. Great sales prices. You get what you pay for in customer service though. If you shop in store, you'll notice huge swaths of floor space only handled by one employee. Many registers and dressing rooms completely shut down. If you shop online and want to return an item, Macy's forces you to take store credit instead of giving you the money back on your card of origin. If you insist it go back to your card, they'll force it on a Macy's card instead of the card you used. It's a huge hassle I've encountered again and again but that's how they stay in business I suppose. Just plan accordingly... read more
