Thank you very much Yasuko for such awesome customer service in exchanging my purchase. For sure a definite 5 star rating!

Thank you Yasuko for a great service! I really appreciate it very much. So, for today's visit I went in to do a return on a purchase I made online. The item I received didn't seem to be what I wanted. As we walked into Macy's we seen how busy the store looked. I really loved the set up tho. It catches your eye as you enter. The sale signs, the SHOES! ( oh my goodness the SHOES). The bags too! Oh man... if I only came alone, I would've never left. LOL! In my opinion, this location is one of the best locations to shop at because they seem to have more of everything in stock. Maybe even better sales too. The variety of items they display makes you want to shop instantly! It's dangerous for us women! Hahahaha... Anywho, I went to return an item I purchased online and was waiting for help at the register. There was this one employee who seemed to have seen me, but didn't make her way towards me. Instead she kind of walked the opposite direction. But no matter, because she probably had been in the middle of helping someone. But this other employee asked if I had been helped. I said no... with that she offered her assistance. At this, I was ok with just a simple refund. I explained that I didn't really care for the color of the item and had wanted to do an exchange. But, seeing as they were busy, I was ok with accepting a refund. She willingly looked up the item, searched their database to see if there was in stock of other colors. She said, if the items on the floor, we can do the exchange, if not, I can either go to another location or return it and do an exchange online in-store. As confusing as that sounded, she assured she'd help but first things first, lets get the other color and see if that's ok with me. Well, when she came back, she showed me the only one left in-stock at this location. It was the COLOR I WANTED! So, she helped me do the exchange & gave me a few pointers on taking care of this type of material. Then, after our exchange, she simply thanked me for coming in and I totally appreciated HER for the service. She went out of her way to go through all that for myself. She also informed me that if I do decide to change my mind on THIS COLOR, they have another color available at another location. I can go there to swap it out too, if I wanted. That was really nice of her to inform me of that. Not many people care to share such info, but she did! Thank you for the great customer service & for the pointers on future orders too.

I came here the other week just to check out. I've been trying so hard to avoid Waikiki during this pandemic but I had to return something to a store out there. I figure since I was already out there I might as well walk around and check out some of the stores. This Macy's is probably one of the smaller Macy's on island. There really wasn't anything different from other Macy's. And the sales were the same. The selection of the merchandise is a lot less. But the bright spot of this store is located in the back of the store. And I probably wouldn't even had noticed but I had to use the bathroom. They have a small shoe selection back there but what they had was all on sale. Some of their shoes were 70% off! I definitely don't go anywhere fancy anymore since having a baby, haha but they had some nice dress shoes. They also had some cheap athletic shoes for like $50. My daughter "lost" her shoes the day before and so I saw a good pair for her. It was a cheap price, $15 for Skechers waterproof shoes. It was weird though because I saw the exact same style, same color but it was $5 cheaper. I asked the lady if the one I got was $10 too but she said that mine was still $15. She said that it depends on when it comes into the store. When it came later, the price gets cheaper. Don't know, it was the same model. But definitely check this place out if you are looking for some shoes.

Came here with my MIL on NY day. We already knew what we wanted, so shopping was simple. The saleslady was friendly and she seemed knowledgeable about the products. We were able to validate our parking there for IMP, and it was like a $7 validation since we bought something at Macy's. We did have to wait though to get it validated because she couldn't do it for us. I like how the store was clean, and it wasn't busy at all. Most of the sales reps greeted us.

The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day. I can't thank Nāpali a me Hōkūpa'a and the rest of the Salvage Public ʻohana enough for your continued legendary service every time I visit.

Hawaii's Finest Clothing is like walking into a club as this vibrant shop does start from it's storefront with the cool neon logo shining bright along side the huge window with their various logos. Walking in you can see that every corner of the shop is filled with amazing decor that sometimes felt secondary to the merchandise, even their music is showcased with flair. So much to choose from along with lots of clearance items making it a great deal shopping here is an experience to find clothing for the whole group. Service here is very friendly and helpful though I didn't find anything today know that I will be back to support this amazing local small biz as they have so many great clothing to express ourselves. He didn't know where they got it from. Then he found a small in the other shirt he received and the male sales associate asked if he had a gift receipt. No, we didn't have one. So he asked "when did you receive it?" My husband said on May 19. He said "Oh, that's more than 30 days-we can't exchange it." Today is the 20th of June. Seriously!?!?! One day late and no grace period!?!??! So now he's stuck with 2 shirts that he can't use....So CAUTION! DO NOT BUY ANY GIFTS from this place. I know if the person he got the gifts from knew they had such a strict policy, she would have warned him to rush and exchange them. Horrible customer experience. The brand has a long history in street culture, and this location reflects that identity with a clean and minimalist retail space focused entirely on the clothing. The store layout is simple and well organized, which makes it easy to browse through the collections. Racks feature a mix of graphic tees, hoodies, hats, and other staple pieces that the brand is known for. The designs maintain the classic Stüssy style that blends surf, skate, and street culture influences. One thing that makes this location interesting is the connection between the brand and Hawaii's surf culture. Stüssy originally emerged from surf roots in California, and seeing the brand represented in a place like Waikiki feels very fitting. The shop tends to attract both visitors and locals who are interested in streetwear and limited releases. The environment inside is relaxed and focused more on the clothing itself rather than flashy retail design. What stood out to me most was how the store maintains the authenticity of the Stüssy brand while fitting naturally into the Waikiki shopping scene. Overall, Stüssy Honolulu is a great stop if you are into streetwear or want to check out one of the well-known global brands located along Kalākaua Avenue.

I would stock up on socks and sweaters with abandon from the Uniqlos closer to my home in San Francisco. That was why it surprised me that I would seek out this familiar store at the mammoth Ala Moana Center. However, I had seen a local vlogger's YouTube video where he showcased the Hawaiian-exclusive clothing they sell here. Jamie W and I decided to drop by when we were at Ala Moana. Although not at the scale of the Tokyo Ginza flagship, it's one of the global chain's larger stores with an expansive multi-floor space. They offer the Brands Hawaiian Loco line, which is quite a distinct array of T-shirts spotlighting locally renowned businesses like Leonard's Bakery, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zippy's. I even bought one featuring a bowl of Zippy's saimin called Zipmin (Photo 4). I also really liked their line of aloha shirts because designs came from top quality Japanese block prints. I fell in love with one shirt based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa". I had never seen one like that before. They even offer opportunities to customize T-shirts and tote bags using exclusive designs from local artists. There's enough here to justify a shopping expedition.
